The NFL owners have filed the paperwork to lockout the players which could lead to the 2011-2012 season being canceled.

For me
1. I think the owners are being insanely greedy here. They won't make their books public, and NFL players have the worst deal of the 4 major American sports (MLB/NFL/NHL/NBA) in terms of salaries and all
2. I'm not an NFL fan, I don't care, I LOVE hockey and this means more tv time for hockey
3. Watch hockey, the more hockey the better in my life.
