The new Robin is

Don't know anything about the actress but I have no problem with the choice of which robin to use. Was part of my favorite batman stories. Unfortunately the whole Jesse Eisenberg thing already rendered the casting beyond repair.

It's weird-- I know her name and feel familiar with her, but after looking over her credits I'm not sure I've seen a single live-action movie she's been in since Donnie Darko. I guess that performance as Young Ellie in Contact made an impression.

I thought I cared about the cast of this movie until I realized that I don't. I'm a nerd. I'd go to see this if Superman and Batman were being played by Yaphet Kotto and Warwick Davis.

Black Superman vs Midget Batman?

I'd buy a ticket for that. Although the thought of a dark, Dark Knight vs Tiny Supes could be fun too.

It's not confirmed yet is it? I mean there's rumors everyday of every fucking person on set being some hero/villain and they just turn out to be a regular person.

Remember when Bryan Cranston was "confirmed" for Lex Luthor for fucking months until they announced Jesse Eisenberg?

Batman and Superman are boring as shit anyway. Let me know when DC can make something good without Batman in it.

I've always imagined that one studio exec said to another, "Hey, what about that guy who played Heisenberg in Breaking Bad as Lex Luthor?"

"Hmm? What did you say?"

"Heisenberg."

"Eisenberg? Yeh, alright, let's book it."

And lo, we got a strange choice for Lex. It wouldn't make any kind of continuity sense but I would have loved to see Spacey as Luthor again.

She was in all the hunger games movies, so that might be the primary logic behind this if it happens. Cash in on that, to be honest the only thing I have seen her in was Bastard Out of Carolina...And that was 18 years ago. I learned a long time ago to not question the casting in these movies as there were only two times it didn't work for me and both were in that horrid batman and robin movie.

She's confirmed for the movie but not the role.

There's the potential of Carrie Robin but she won't be Stephanie Spoiler. Harley Quinn's a good shout especially with a Suicide Squad movie. Donna Troy may be an out there shout but Barbara Gordon wouldn't surprise me either.

That or Supergirl.

Could be a flashback for how Robin died since apparently there's a shrine to Robin in it. Then again there was a shrine in TDKR

Jesse Eisenberg will be fine as Lex.

Eisenberg has been speaking exclusively to Chris Terrio about the role and what to do apparently. I'm all for him to speaking to anyone not named David S. Goyer.

Apparently Goyer is also out of all future films after his she-hulk comments.

See "Saved" Butcher.

Its a hilariously smart satirical look at protestant christian teens and the clueless adults that made them the way they are. The cast is engaging and really nail the material. It may be Malone's best role.
