So, this week on ECW we saw the debut of a new female interviewer, whose name escapes me at the moment. I believe it was Courtney something.
Anyway, she was extremely good-looking, and didn't do a half bad job in her role. My question is, where does she go from there? With Lilian Garcia supposedly leaving, is she set to become the next RAW ring announcer? Tiffany was ring announcer in FCW, so is Courtney going to take Tiffany's role as GM, leaving Tiffany to become the next female announcer?

I wasn't particularly impressed. A good looking girl who didn't completely screw up her lines...meh. The thing that confuses me is why they think that this is necessary, when the show is only an hour long and you don't need to have a backstage interviewer anyway.

The Lillian thing...I don't think they'll be moving Courtney as GM and Tiffany as Lillian's replacement. It would make more sense if they would have hired Courtney to replace Lillian right off the bat. But apparently, this Courtney chick has been in FCW, so I don't think she's being groomed for either of those spots. She's more than likely just doing what Eve did, where she starts off as an interviewer to get the fans used to her, then transitions into the ring and continues to suck lol.

Courtney Taylor was hot and seemed fine on the mic. You have to remember this is her first week, the reason they've brought her in is obviously to replace Helms who is now wrestling as the Hurricane. It's as simple as that. If you're an announcer down, bring one in.

And yes, you do need a backstage interviewer, you tend to forget that it takes time to sort the ring out for the next match with pyro etc.

Courtney Taylor=Beverly Mullins
This girl actually has a pretty solid diva fan base. Alot of diva fans have praised her work in FCW, and have said she is pretty good on the mic. She was mainly a manager there, so I am unsure if she can wrestle good. But from what I heard, she has some skills on the mic.

But honestly I don't want her or Tiffany to replace Lillian. I want a professionally trained announcer. I want someone with a good voice, good pressence, and someone who want mess up(Lillian). There have to be 100's of girls, who could do this job, and who have experience public speaking or something. Tiffany & "Courtney" are fine on the mic, but not raw ring announce material.

If any "diva" get's the job, I'd rather it be FCW's Angela Fong(who does some of the FCW shows).

Tiffany is doing a good enough job at being the E.C.W General Manager, that I don't believe she needs to be replaced. What exactly is in being a GM to begin with? Just being able to have a good presense about you and voicing yourself well. Tiffany does that.

Shes stood up to Swagger on multiple occasions, and more recently she stood up to Paul Burchill and with attitude. The GM on E.C.W isn't on-screen a lot, so I fail to see why Tiffany needs to be replaced at all.

As for this new girl, I have no idea why they're bringing in someone else. I could've swore E.C.W had an alternative backstage female announcer as-is. Maybe that was Raw, I forget now. Anyways, this to me is just another wasted space on the announcing/interviewing roster but its a way to get Gregory Helms out of the picture, because he's clearly healthy enough to get back to work inside the ring again.

So yeah.. this girl isn't replacing Tiffany, nor should she. Shes filling in because Gregory Helms is likely moving on from being a backstage announcer, and its about fucking time.

She is definetly good looking and she didn't fuck up her lines, so I would say that she's a huge success. There really isn't much to being a backstage interviewer, and she did a fine job. If I remember reading somewhere, she worked as the valet for some guy in FCW that might be coming up. Maybe she could eventually move on to that role.

If not, she could always go the Eve Torres route. Eve was originally a backstage interviewer, but has since become a wrestler on Smackdown, and a capable one at that. The fact that she had spent time as a backstage interviewer before she debuted helped her with the fans. I could see this Courtney girl doing the same type of thing.

Beverly / Courtney / Wesley Holiday / pure hotness is awesome to watch.

She managed Alex Riley in FCW - She played the Prom Queen to his Jock charectar. They were pretty entertaining to watch, Sad they split them up. At least i get to see her every tuesday night
