The New Fantastic Four

King Patrick Star

K. O. T. R. 2007 -€“ Team Undisputed
I was watching some Marvel movies on DVD the other day with my friends and thought of an idea.

Hugh Jackman as Logan / Wolverine
Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker / Spider-Man
Nicolas Cage as Johnny Blaze / Ghost Rider
Edward Norton as Dr. Bruce Banner / Hulk

The New Fantastic Four

I would love to see this on the big screen. They could take the story right from the pages of the Fantastic Four. What do you think??

Eh, not me.

Let The Incredible Hulk and Spider-Man stand on their own, because they still have some fantastic stories to tell (even if Spider-Man 3 was complete shit).

And as far as Wolverine and Ghost Rider goes... they can both rot in hell for all I care. Both characters on-screen cinema personas suck ass and I just don't want them being matched up with the Hulk and Spidy. If you want a new Fantastic Four for a film, then please give Ghost Rider and Wolverine two shit characters to work with from shit films, like Hell Boy for example, or Daredevil.

But yeah... hate to be a negative Nancy, but I really hope nothing like this ever happens.

Jmt said it very well. While I don't like Spiderman as much as he does, I think The Hulk has the most potential in future movies now that he is being portrayed by Edward Norton. The latest movie was pure gold, and I can't wait for a sequel, no matter what form it is.

I think I am one of the very very very few who thinks Wolverine is shit. I'm no comic book fan, hell, I barely even saw any of the X-Men movies, but I just don't like his character. Not only that, but just about everyone is on his dick. He's not that great of a character, people. Same thing goes for Ghost Rider. That movie was bad news all over the place.

I agree, I love Wolverine in the books, but I would've never picked Jackman to do it... I'm sorry, he's not Wolverine, not even close. We came to accept him because he did all 4 movies, not because he was convincing. I can't stand Nick Cage! He's 50-something trying desperately to play 20-something. Try and remember, he wanted to play Superman, how shitty would that've been? That movie would've been 20 times worse...

I know the first Hulk movie was crap, but am I the only one who prefers the CG model from the first movie? The "new" hulk looks too much like a bodybuilder... not the Hulk...

There have been "discussions" about a Hall of Justice movie, but if you're a nerd like I used to be, you know that none of those guys were in the Hall of Justice.

Even though I digress, I saw a studio exec do an interview a few months back and he said the movie would be so expensive to make that they don't think a profit could be turned, which is why they stick to essentially one superhero or superhero group per flick.

But as several have mentioned, yes, another Avengers movie is in the works - they made one a few years back that didn't do very well.

I think with Hugh, Tobey, Nick (though, I guess he could be replaced, being that he played Johnny Blaze and not Danny Ketch) and Ed, this cast together has the potential to be great. The Star Studded names alone would sell this movie. I think a cameo by the actors who played the Original FF, Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans at the very beginning and at the very end of this movie would also help. Oh well, it’s just a dream.
