The most under used wrestler(s)

Dark Match Winner
The WWE irritates me because they are acting like WCW(before it went under) they just can't seem to push "good" talent. I think Shelton Benjamin and Chavo should have been gotten world titles they are guys that can actually wrestle and chavo can shoot great promos. I think they should market Shelton like they marketed Kurt Angle(the wrestling machine) and chavo like they did eddie lie cheat and steal that could get Chavo a decent fan base. I also understand the problem with Chavo and the Eddiplotation.

So who are the most under used guys in your opinion?

Well, I think you pretty much had it right: Shelton Benjamin. Don't know if you watched ECW tonight but they had him lose to some guy named Yoshi after one kick... complete bs. This guy is one of the most talented wrestlers and now they have him getting beat like that on ECW. The WWE has screwed up royally with Benjamin. Hopefully they realize it before its too late and give him a run with the ECW Championship. Then maybe next year, try it again on RAW or SD.

Part way through Shelton's Japanese Imitation i figured he was gonna lose cheap to this new guy. This is completely pathetic. I really hope the WWE releases him, he goes to TNA, he'll win the X-Division Title within 1 month, if not be pushed right into the thick of the TNA Heavyweight Title.

Well this is easy he wears gold. None other then goldust. He has a establish fanbase, years of experience, and major heel potenial. He has been underused for as long as he was in wwe. The fact that he never had a title run with a major title baffles me. Hopefully wwe gives him the ecw title and he can establish himself as a major champion. I also think that charlie hass is super under used. He has better mic skills then shelton and is nicer in the ring then shelton with his ground game which works with his size. He should fued over the ic title with mysterio, the fued will be awesome, but vince would never stand for it.

Two word separate words to form one..... GOLD DUST.. he shuld definitely be winning titles.... but noo hes working wit midgets in tag team devision i mean at least put him in legacy... have a clown! he is 2nd generation superstar.... kindaish? i mean he is the "The Prince of Perversion" n "The Bizzare One"

Underused talent hmmmmm? I'll bet I can think of 10 names lets see....

-Shelton Benjamin (mentioned)
-Chavo Guerrero (mentioned)
-The Brian Kendrick
-Paul Burchill
-Goldust (mentioned)
-Charlie Haas (mentioned)
-Legacy (should have split by now...)
-R-Truth
-Mark Henry
-MVP

As 7 out of the 10 above should be obvious, but the latter 3 are being underused in this way. And yes, they are all black.

-R-Truth had that big debut with the vignettes, but since has just worked random matches

-Mark Henry is actually very talented for his girth, and should work with main event talent on Raw. I'm not saying put the belt on him, but were it him instead of Big Show, the John Cena post wrestlemania feud would have been much more interesting.

-MVP should be working with Randy Orton right now. But because Triple H had to once again rear his gargantuan nose at the moment Batista went down, that may not happen for a while, and may never happen at all.

I think The Brian Kendrick is the most under used superstar in WWE. At least Benjamin and Goldust are doing things. WWE isn't doing the right things with them, but they are on at least one show a week. I haven't seen TBK since he was supposed to be looking for a tag partner even though he is already a decorated tag champion. Wouldn't his character want to reach a bit higher? Oh well, he'll probably be future endeavored soon. Shame.

I fully agree to The Brian Kendrick choices on here...The guy is small but has that young HBK attitude that can keep the audience watching...Plus who doesn't like seeing a lil guy get tossed around like a rag-doll? X-Pac and Spike Dudley made careers out of it! Burchill has all the tools to be a star, good build and look, young, athletic, and intensity...unsure of his mic-work...but that can be worked on. Other than that I think it's just a matter of guys getting lost in the shuffle.

Carlito:He is a great wrestler, Great with promos, and he speaks spanish which vince loves. I know he had some backstage crap or he screwed up a couple of pushes but if Vince gives everybody else multiple chances then why can't he. Him and Primo just split which I completely disagree with but if they're split let's see Carlito move to the Main Event like he has proven to do time and time again.

Shelton Benjamin: All of the reasons have been said already but what's to be done?

Charlie Haas: I mean for real did accidentally knocking Lillian Garcia off the apron earn him a lifetime worth of jobbing? Haas can actually be a marketable wrestler for WWE if used correctly. He can also cut promos way better than Benjamin. I say give him one more chance to shine.

Mark Henry: Like I have said before he has impressed the hell out of me lately. He cuts good promos and can be very convincing. He has also been a very consistantly good performer. Hopefully his run on Raw will at least have him holding U.S. Gold. Then on ECW we can have Tony Atlas manage Ezekial Jackson.

Okay that's all for now. Honarable Mentions: The Brian Kendrick, MVP, Chavo Guerrero, and Hurricane Helms.

Hmmmm, I'd have to say Rhoades and DiBiase. Yes I know they are getting the rub from Orton and had a title shot, but as of now they are underused, they are only being used at lackeys, to further the whole ideal of Legacy... ya know born better, they should of already had the tag titles and be working as an absolute cohesive team, instead of taking pedigrees, chair and sledgehammer shots from HHH or Batista.

Also would have to Haas, I always thought he was a excellent wrestler, just needed a bit of mic training is all.

Benjamin has perhaps been the most underused wrestler to come along in many years. He's excellent in the ring, fairly well on the mic and has the ablity to get a reaction from the fans.

Agree with you there, Jimmy Wang Yang is always over with the crowd and puts on a decent match. Alrite he probably wont get a title run but it would be gd to see him used in more than just dark matches.

Looks like Haas and Benjamin have been split up again... when will creative realise these 2 are only good when their working together. I hope Haas gets a push on SD now tho cos IMO hes the better of the 2.

TBK is another whos underused but i'm actually quite glad of that cos his gimmick really annoys me.

The most underused Diva has to be Gail Kim, We all know how good she was in TNA, and now shes gone to jobbing in WWE, bet shes regretting coming back now. Altho her success in TNA is probably the reason shes being held back.

I agree with Kip, because of their success in TNA, R-Truth, Christian, Gail Kim are not getting the rub from vince, so they were in TNA, so what, you cannot ignore the fact that they were all champions in TNA and they are being held back because of this.

Also MVP, but i aint gonna get started on that.

I gonna go with Natalya. She is the best womens wrestler in the WWE IMO, and I have maybe seen 2 matches with her since she debuted. She should be womens champ or at least in the title hunt, she's too good to be just managing right now.

Diva's is Natalya Hands down BTW she is sooo hot !!!! She can wrestle too!!!
WWE best bets 5 yrs from now .

The Miz(Best Suited 4 SmackDown)- Skills- Shawn Michaels & (best suited)Personality-Triple H heel-& Popularity-Bigger T.V Star Than Chris Jericho

Cody Rhodes(SmackDown) Skills- Chris Jericho - (Best)Personality- Chris Benoit Popularity- Ric Flair Fan Base

John Morrison-Skills-(Mexican Wrestler) Octagon -(Best) Personality-X- Pac or Jesse The Body Ventura=Popularity- HBK Fan Base

Shelton Benjamin- Skills- Kurt Angle - Personality- Hulk Hogan -Popularity-Kurt Angle

all i gotta say is look out for the Heart Dynasty

I agree I think the wwe has some trouble staying with some young talent that could be great..for shelton benjamin, he should be in the world title picture.especially on smackdown idk why they would move him to ecw what that sais to me is that they are out of ideas for him and that is kinda scary..I would also say guys like dolph ziggler mvp and christian are great talenrs who are being overlooked....

Sadly enough for your purposes, there's one problem with Shelton Benjamin and Chavo Guerrero. No one gives a shit about them. No, really. That silence when they wrestle? It's not because the crowd is engrossed with what is going on in front of them. It's because no one cares if Benjamin or Guerrero lose.

As for the question, Goldust is being underutilized. The crowd obviously loves him. Give him a US title run. The mid-card is choked for faces. Throw Goldust in there. Let him get old-school super freaky on the Heels. He'll show Hardy and Regal what's up.

Finlay is way underused. He is the man who loves to fight and barely gets to fight. He only had those two feuds with Mark Henry and Jack Swagger and was basicly a fill in for the Scramble Match at The Bash. Finlay needs to have a good feud with either Rey Mysterio or Dolph Ziggler on Smackdown.
