Jack Swagger is in my current top 10. His matches are good. he understands what he is in the ring, and what his role is. He can be heel without cheating. It just sucked that made him say he was the face of the franchise. How unfortunate a choice of words for someone with a bit of a lisp. "Hey Stevie Wonder, talk about the color blue." But, in the ring, he will be an all time great big guy, mark this date down as the day I said it.

There was an urban legend in the 80's that a kid who danced in the Thriller video died. It even went to the point where the kid was identified. Five years later the "dead" kid was in a supporting role on Silver Spoons, and then became Carlton. This was before the internet, but it's funny how wrong something is when the story starts with, "This guy told me....."

Yeah, creative dropped the ball there. He needs a mouthpiece manager, soon. They could push him a mid card title on one of the two big shows right now.
The problem with the WWE is that there is no way to get from where he is to where he should be. Who is he going to go over without ruining them for a while? Everyone who he could beat and not drop to oblivion is on ECW. Finlay will always be over as either heel or face because he's been on TV for 15 years. And Matt Hardy is a Hardy. These guys aren't going anywhere. But Kofi has been losing too much already. Shelton Benjamin is just getting his stride. CM Punk would be a good feud for him, but if he wins, then aren't they pushing him as World Title ready? That is a problem too. Creative has booked too many dead ends for advancement. Jeff Hardy, in one year, is going from losing the main event championship match at Royal Rumble to----you guessed it, losing the World Title match at Royal Rumble. Where does he go next? In ten years he has gone from feuding with Edge and Christian to feuding with Edge, and what do you think Christian will be doing when he comes back? There is nowhere on either show to put Jack Swagger, but soon, he'll be too good for ECW, and creative isn't moving towards finding anything for him, so he, like Morrison is going to continue to exist in purgatory, not getting into the upper-mid/main events.

I've outkicked my coverage with a few girls in my time, and like to think I serve as an inspiration.
He's the only reason i even bother watching ECW. Always puts on great matches and like you said, he knows his role. While sometimes the things he say can come out a bit stupid because of his lisp, overtime i am sure he'll learn what he should say or shouldn't.
