The Great Khali vs. John Cena

WWE is very predictable. I guess believe me or not, but I haven't watched RAW in about 3 or 4 weeks. Anyway I was watching Spiderman 2 yesterday and after that I turned to RAW. Well it was 9:10 here in Iowa, and they were saying HBK vs. Cena was next. I thought damn, maybe I'll watch this. Well...

They return from commercial break and Carlito is talking to Flair. I predicted the heel turn by Carlito. I also predicted HBK getting ambushed, because I knew HBK vs. Cena wasn't going on before WGTT vs. Flair/Carlito.

Then Edge gets attacked and Coach says to go find Orton. This obviously ment Orton was going to be next...OMG I was right! Orton is now knocked out. Who could of done it? Way to obvious the monster Khali. This is the WWE remember?

Anway I predicted the last hour of RAW, but the reason I came to this thread is to say this...

I hate Cena. I hate Khali. I don't want to see these two wrestle, so I won't watch it. But I've got to say that I'm sure most Cena fans don't want to watch this either. I don't know what the WWE is thinking. They had something going with HBK vs. Cena, but now they throw Cena with Khali. Cena sucks unless he's in the ring with someone with talent. This is just stupid booking...Again.

What we saw last night will probably happen for weeks on end until Cena eventually F-U's Khali at Judgement Day

Haha you just spoiled the next month. You forgot to mention that we will probably have HBK wrestle Edge or Orton for the 100th time since the beginning of the year. If the product is going to be so bad they might as well do the HBK injury angle now so he can have a few months off.

heh sorry for spoiling it for ya XD, lemme try to spoil some more lol. In the coming weeks besides Khali and Cena doing...whatever... We'll see HBK probably have a match with Khali for not allowing him to get his "1 more chance." Actually I could see a Fatal Four Way for the number 1 contender since Edge said he will force his way back into the picture, and HBK wants another shot, Orton probably will still be involved. Khali will probably win that and things will just go downhill from there...

I cerainly see Khali winning the title. And I'm fine with it. Having somebody that size holding the title will do wonders for whoever eventually beats him.

i think this situation is doubtful..only doubtful for the fact that VINCE knows and so does everyone else that Khali is limited to what he can do..for this reason i believe he will never become a WWE champion only be an image around it..HHH is said to be returning in July though that seems like it is around the corner there would clearly need to be title defenses up to that point..whether they would all be squash matches or actual matches is up to vince..it is a possibility of it being done but i doubt it will be..it is also not totally confirmed that HHH is coming back in July it is only being said that he is aiming for it..and if i am correct Summerslam is in August which would be a much better way to introduce HHH back into the wrestling picture...i think everyone is exaggerating the situation with Cena and Khali..you do not know what is going to happen yet..so stop moaning and crying...you still have edge, hbk, orton in that title picture therefore any type of situation can occur at this point...if put in a situation where they must face Khali then it is only logical they would all work as a team and try to bring Khali down..i also remember hearing Vince last night say to Coach to look for who had done all this damage..Vince could perhaps play a role in this situation by not liking what Khali has done and create that (Kane) type of image where Khali is going around destroying and cannot be stopped and something will be done..ONLY TIME WILL TELL SO LETS WAIT IT OUT TILL NEXT MONDAY....

I do think that Vince would take the title off Cena and put it on Khali. I don't see why he wouldn't. He's been very experimental over the past few years with champions.

My mistake I should have stated that if somebody other than Cena was to defeat Khali it would do a lot for them. A first time champion like a Hardy or Carlito etc.

But yeah it would look bad if Cena lost and then was the one to retain it off Khali. There would be noting left for Khali to do after that imo.

I know this main event will be boring as hell, but I'd keep my eyes on the screen just to see bugly Khali get his ass beat, FINALLY. After all, it'd be all worth it.

Hbk knows that his time is limited in the wwe and maby he is just doing whats right for the buisiness by having him and cena put on great matches. Its not that the wwe does not trust edge its that his jaw is still busted any he isnt up to title reign status yet, but yet even with my being a cena fan i do find its time for someone else to have a run.

khali is andre, and cena is hogan...and believe it or not, they're both more skilled than their 80s alter-ego. so this feud is right, especially since khali is on such a destructive path. what else could they do with khali, have him beat everyone and be stupid enough to never ask for a title shot

At the rate things are going Cena is going to be the "Next JBL" by that I mean that he's going to hold the title for like... ever... Like some of you guys said if Khali wins it I really have no idea what they will be able to do with him should he win. If he won then Cena will use his rematch, and then god knows what...

cena's reigned far surpasses JBL, not consecutive or anything, but he's way past that. Cena will have the title to at least Vengeance...possible losing to Edge, to make way for Edge v. HHH.

That whole "who dunit" thing last night was interesting. I was all like "OMG who did it" and then when it turned out be to be Khali i was like ...great.....I was really lookin forward to Cena-Michaels 3....but hey...guess it aint a gonna happen now dammit. WWE bores me once again. The only match that I enjoyed last night was Orton vs Edge.

I totally had this excited feeling in my stomach during the slow reveal at the end. The build up was great and so unexpected. I thought they were going to pull a Bischoff or Y2J type of deal where no one expected it. I was totally hoping for Y2J or even Benjamin or something like that, but noooooo. Freaking Khali!!! I wold even settle for Snitzky but freakin' Khali!!! I thought the whole point of booking is to make a match that will sell tickets. I don't know what the hell this is about. Maybe it McMahon's anwser to the Hogan / Big Show thing that happened this past weekend. This will suck. Period.

I don't agree that the time is right for a Cena/Khali fued. Cena's already an established "superman" (I'm not talking talent level, I'm only referring to the way his title reign has been booked) so defeating Khali doesn't do anything for him. Its basically the Umaga fued all over. And while I agree with Jake's point that defeating Khali would give instant credibility to a first-time main eventer, that storyline is already in play (kinda) with the IC belt and Santino beating Umaga.

But rather than just bashing WWE booking, I'd like to go in a slightly different direction. All through the 2nd hour of the show, a good "whodunit" was built up. My question is this : Who would everyone have wanted to be the person who knocked out HBK, Edge, and Orton? And yes, I think it would have been a great place for a Cena heel turn, but I'm more curious about who else people think could have used that push?

For my money, I would have loved to see a re-debuting Paul Birchill have been responsible. I think he and Cena would have put on a great series of matches that could have believably resulted in Cena dropping the belt. What does everyone else think?

To start off, one person said that maybe Khali wouldn't be going for the title and might play a bodyguard role or something. Just to make it clear to anyone who thinks that...no, he wants the title. That was made clear by him holding up the belt, not to mention taking out all the other contenders.

Now for the people who give the classic line "What do you expect, it's WWE..." or something along those lines, if you think all WWE does is make stupid booking decisions, then why do you watch?

In response to watchingandwaiting, I like where you're going. However, while Paul Burchill vs. Cena may be a fun match if handled properly, it never would have gone over. Last time we saw Paul Burchill, he was a freakin' pirate. I know they re-debuted Snitsky and made him unstoppable, but he was already a big guy.

I agree with the people who say Jericho would have been a good choice, but they didn't have Jericho available, so they couldn't use him.

Now my main point here is that I would like to go a different way from most people in this thread by giving WWE some credit. That's right, I don't think they completely screwed up.

Now to be honest I did call Khali being the one who did it, so in that sense it was predictable. But just the feel of the whole angle...I thought it was fun, just the idea that there was some mystery. They haven't done fun stuff like that in a while.

In addition to that, at least now they're doing something different. Khali and Cena have only faced off once, and I believe that was in January, and that ended in a DQ. Cena has faced Edge, Orton, and Michaels plenty.

Personally I hope Khali beats Cena for the title. That's how tired I am of Cena being champion. If it means Cena finally drops the belt, then I'm Khali's biggest fan.

And finally, for those who keep saying WWE is so predictable, if they are really so extremely predictable, why do you have so many people on a thread like this wondering what's gonna happen next? Sure, people have ideas, and it can be easy to predict what's gonna happen when you're over an hour into a show, but WWE really isn't all that bad as far as pulling out surprises. And all too often people think they know what's gonna happen, but I've seen plenty of bad guesses in this forum. Does "Taker is definitely gonna beat Batista by DQ" ring a bell?

Cena vs. Khali...best match ever? Not at all. Cena beating Khali? That would suck, in my opinion. But if Khali can finally be the one to take Cena out, then go Khali!

Hahaha, this is amazing. So a threat of an IWC boycott, and we get Khali vs. Cena. I honestly didn't think the WWE could sink to a new low, but my friends, we are back in 1995 again. We had an absolutly god awful WM, much like WM 11, and in that year we got to see a Diesel vs. King Mabel main event. Well my friends, here it is, Cena vs. Khali.

I think the WWE did this, so it wouldn't be the main event at Judgment Day, but the whole Undertaker injury may change the direction of this angle. Cena Khali is safe to put on a card when you have Undertaker vs. Batista as the Main event in the Hell in the Cell, most people would forget about Khali/Cena, but now they could verywell have to headline the show.

I actually am looking really forward to this. This has Brisco vs. Patterson in an Evening gown Match, or Hogan Warrior II looking like a Steamboat/Flair match. The beauty of this match, we all know it's going to be a trainwreck. Just how god awful will it get. I would love to see Khali win the title, hell, WWE has pissed it's legacy away, why not go into a new low, this is amazing.

This whole Khali and Cena program i my eyes is away for Vince and the rest of the WWE brass to get Cena some cheap face pops. Honestly, the way Cena has been getting the boo's from the crowd i just see this as way to keep Cena's underdod thing going and cheat face pops.

Thing is this match prolly would have been the after the frist hour of Judgemnt day now WWE needs to find a way to get a decent main event like a 8 man tournmanet with the simi and finals on the same night for the World title. Though who knows that could easily change and have this match next week on RAW.

I think the Undertaker angle seriously screwed the Khali Cena Feud. I think they knew Taker was injured, but not to the extent that he is. We might just see a blow off or a cheap match next week, but there is no way on God's green earth that you can have Khali/Cena headline a pay per view. You can do it on Raw, but you can't honestly expect people to pay 40 bucks for that. And I think the cheap pops backfired, some people were actually cheering Khali, and Hell, I think I would too
