The Era of Two Companies

j.beaner

Occasional Pre-Show
Now that TNA has gone Back to The thursday night time slot, i really dont see them going back to Mondays until...maybe a few years, and even then its risky. So many believe that since, TNA failed to ever even coming close to over throughing WWE in the ratings, Then the Monday Night Wars Part II may never happen again. Which i find interesting. Cause now its said That "The Monday night wars will never be duplicated. Just like the '80's will never be duplicated ECT. And TNA ten years after the original War tried to remake some of that magic that we found each and every monday. So if its not gonna be a repeat of the 90's, could we be in the presents of having a new era... an era where two company's co-exist. And TNA is growing every year. The Wrestling Business is always changing and you cannot "capture Lightning in a bottle" and rekindle those memories of the older wrestling days. So Do you think that in this day and time, its possible that 2 company's can co-exist.

Two big companies co-exist? Not going to happen. There will not be a stage in time where that even makes sense. In any business, if you are a top company, and you have competition, you go hard to make sure you are better. That is why the Monday Night Wars were as great as they were. WCW wanted to be the top dog, actually built up nicely (didn't hurt having Ted Turner's money either) and then stuck it to the WWE. They had the ratings over WWE for as long as they did, and it brought some entertaining television from both sides.

TNA is a nice company in Florida. But right now, they aren't ready for the big time. You notice how the WWE would never even glance at TNA, never make mention of them. TNA declared war on the WWE, and look what happened. Obviously TNA was and as of right now is not competition. For now, Vince will not even pay any attention to TNA. If they can become competition, you can bet your ass that Vince will turn up the heat. He won't just sit and let them gain ratings. It is all about competition, and competition is great for everyone. Two companies won't agree to co-exist and not go after each other in this kind of venue. It does not make sense, as someone is likely to lose money.
