The Era of Kane?

I was reading the new ministry for Undertaker thread when this came to me: Why not give Kane a Ministry of his own to dominate Smackdown.

Like it or not, Kane has been the dominant force on Smackdown for months now. With the Undertaker gone in the Buried Alive Match (and for quite a few month depending on his surgery), then this more time for Kane to shine and build a face against him. Because lets face it, there's really not that much in the way of major stars against him.

Current Smackdown male roster:
Alberto Del Rio
The Big Show
Caylen Croft
Chavo Guerrero
Chris Masters
Christian
Cody Rhodes
Curt Hawkins
Dolph Ziggler
Drew McIntyre
Edge
Jack Swagger
Joseph "Joey" Mercury
JTG
Kane
Kaval
Kofi Kingston
Luke Gallows
Montel Vontavious Porter (M.V.P.)
Rey Mysterio
Shad Gaspard
Trent Barreta
Tyler Reks
The Undertaker
Vance Archer

Alberto Del Rio has his feud with Mysterio
Edge and Swagger are feuding
Chavo is being the eagle
Undertaker and Christian are out.

Besides that, there are practically no feuds around.

Kane has the oppurtunity to help build a number of heels by forming the ministry, as well as faces.

Kane's Ministry:
Kane. Basically the centerpiece of the group.
Luke Gallows and Joey Mercury. Abandoned by Punk, he could morph their Straight-Edge beliefs into devotion for him.
Vance Archer. A pyschopath much like Kane, he could be the hitman of the group, though this could easily go to Tyler Rex or Shad Gaspard.

This allows for tag team action, contention over the World Heavyweight Championship while allowing the Intercontinental Championship to be feuded over by other people, since this faction is primarily about Kane.

Opposing them:
MVP. Has history with Kane and this could restart his push. Easily the main-event guy to face Kane.
Big Show. Also has history with Kane, and could replace MVP as the main-face.
Kaval, Curt Hawkins and JTG. Two mid-card faces with issues with their former tag team partners and Tyler Rex.

Basically I guess the idea is that Kane has gotten rid of the Undertaker, Smackdown is now his Kingdom. And to make sure it stays that way, to make sure no one tries to stop his era, his dominance, he gather a bunch of followers. Of course, the line-up doesn't have to be this way, which is why I'm asking you guys.

Thoughts?

I don't get what we are supposed to answer in this thread, but ok.

I wouldn't like Kane forming a ministry. It would be dumb seeing as how all by himself he took the best superstar on Smackdown out. Well, he got some help, but he did beat him twice before that. He looks like the 1 man dominant force type of guy. It's like saying that Shaemus needs a stable when in reality he doesn't.

Bottom line is no. I don't think he needs a stable to succeed and it would just make Luke and the other guys you mentioned as servants to another "Messiah".

Sorry if I wasn't clear. Basically, does the concept seem intriguing/smart, does the line-up I offered make sense, wt line-up would you pick, etc..

Why not? He's teamed with other people (Kane, Undertaker, Syxx-pac etc..) before and fought in coalitions (the Alliance). It's not like there's no precedent...

He had a stable of dudes to do his dirty-work, like the Brood, the Acolytes, Mideon... As for Sheamus, he did make liberal use of a neutrality agreement with the Nexus to ensure opponents like John Cena and much of the Raw roster didn't get in his way. And Kane took out Taker at his weakest, with Nexus and his father intervening on two occasions to help him gain the victory. Its not like he's just buried him.

I think one big problem that would definitely hinder this would be the fact that it would come across as corny today. When The Ministry of Darkness was around, it was one of the most controversial things about the WWF during the Attitude Era, and that's saying a lot quite frankly. The idea of a "satanic cult" faction had been done before in a few promotions, but it'd never been taken to that level and in front of such a huge audience. Part of it did come across as kind of cheesy at the time, I mean with Taker chanting or talking in tongues or whatever in the frig it was, but it pushed the boundaries.

Kane simply wouldn't be able to do it because of the PG rating for one thing. It'd come across as some bad episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer more than anything else. Even without a PG rating, it would just look really cheesy today.

I don't see the point of Kane having a stable. He's taken out the deadman and has beaten him 3 times, he doesn't need a stable. When I think of a stable I think the leader needs the help, so I would look at Kane like he was weaker and that's not how WWE wants him to look, they want him to be dominant.

Well, look at Evolution. What was the point of the group? To get the two younger, Randy Orton and Batista over. The point of a faction is to get people over. You take one dominant Superstar and pair him with some rookies or midcarders so you can get them over.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kane help Vance Archer and maybe Gallows. Gallows has already had his shot with SES and failed massivly. I think newer guys should get a chance. Guys that aren't that expirienced like Orton and Batista were in Evolution. The only problem with forming a new ministry is that Kanes character doesn't allow him to have allys. Think about it. Kane is a dark kind of character and gimmick. He doesn't need to be seen sporting around some rookies. Another is that he's dominant. He doesn't need a team to helpo him win matches which is what a heel stable usually does.

Kane having his own Ministry? Not a good idea. It sounds a lot better than it actually would be. Kane is on the biggest roll he has been on for almost a decade. He is better off regaining his credibility as a main eventer and deserves to dominate as the World Champion without the aid of a stable. Even if that stable would be his version of the Ministry, fans wouldn't like it as much and would probably lose interest due to it not being as good as the original. There goes Kane's awesome roll he's been on if that happens. Best to let him have his title reign and continue dominating, he will be alright and doesn't need a stable of helpers.
