did they misuse Kane?

remember back when the ministry was starting up? Undertaker was recruiting some of the evil/wicked guys for his stable. Paul bearer, Visera, Mideon, and the Brood. meanwhile Kane was recruited by... DX??? WTF?? now why would they take the monster of the company, one of the darkest characters ever, and NOT include him in the ministry? IMO Kane included in DX really took a lot of the fear factor away from him. and teaming him up with X-Pac made it even worse.. now of course the downfall of the Ministry was joining up with the Corperation and all that, but do you not think that Kane would have made a better addition along side of Undertaker then a failing DX?

I still think Kane has been misused since he lost to Undertaker in their first ever match. To lost right out the gate doesn't make any sense to me and I doubt it ever will. The whole humanising process with X-Pac was a terrible idea though, that did really mark the beginning of a long drought for Kane in my opinion.
I think Kane would have made a great addition to the Ministry though, never thought of that idea before. With Paul Bearer turning on him and being in the Ministry as well that would be a bit harder to clear up I guess. Still Undertaker was great on the mic during this period, I'm not even sure why Bearer was there really, I know he was Undertaker's longtime manager but I personally don't think he added that much.
Kane would have been nice as the loose cannon of the group though, a mindless monster sent out to decimate people that they never quite had control of... then again Kane pretty much always losing to Undertaker would have worked in this context, as it could be like Kane finally looking up to and respecting his brother for being so dominant and finally embracing his inner evil again.

Kane with X-Pac was great...one of the best things that happened back then and it created a very good feud!! Just look at them teaming up or any of their one on one matches..you'll see..

I always thought Kane never joined the ministry because of his past with Taker..It wouldn't make any sense..

Kane has been misused his entire career. He held the championship for barely 24 hours before losing to Austin. He now has a terrible gimmick and holds all these little records that no body will really acknowledge (maybe minus having the most eliminations in the Royal Rumble 2001).

Kane was really awesome with the mask and before he tore his bicep. When he came back, he was never the same. Never will be the same either. I suspect he will retire soon as he is holding the championship right now.

The last one was good with the whole buried alive deal.. But this one just doesn't make sense. I was hoping it was Nexus that did it.. but apparently it's going to be revealed it was Kane.. . ust a horrible idea in my opinion.

how is it gonna be Nexus if they are a brand specific faction.....? And how has it been done too much if its been spread across a 13 year period...?

I think Kane has been going down hill since he lost that match to Triple H were he had to unmask.. I think his last bit of true steam was when he won the I-C title I think from Triple H also. I never thought I'd see the day my favorite wrestler would get the big one back and now thats its hear i am disapointed. I hope he can become a dominant WHC.

It would have made absolutely no sense to have Kane in the Ministry, back then Kane and Taker kayfabe "hated" each other and Taker would have never trusted having such a threat in his midst. When Kane teamed with DX I always marked the fuck out and he won the tag titles with Pac a time or 2, losing them to Taker and Big Show at least once. Having X-Pac and the rest of DX turn on Kane when they started teaming up with Triple H around the beginning of the Mcmahon-Helmsley Era gave them the much needed heat to go off of and make the crowd believe them as heels after they spent a long time as goofy faces that went out to kick ass and tell people to suck it. If it wasn't for them turning on Kane then DX could possibly have not been as good of a heel stable as they were during that incarnation. While it may not have been a great move for the character of Kane it was good for the business itself and Kane has always been dedicated to the business. This guy has done it all, I doubt that he regrets not being able to have a ton of World Title reigns.
