NorCal's has 21,000 posts. Mines has like 4,000 posts. Does that make Doc half as awesome as NorCal or 2.5x as awesome as I am? Post count is absolutely irrelevant. You'll be whomever you are without an official thread.

Official threads are boring, to be honest. As some point it just becomes people rehashing the same things they have said before. Things like "I like toast". Well, of course you do!

I think you're missing the point here. I'm not saying his thread is well-deserved simply because of the post count. I'm saying that it's not undeserved, compared to the other threads in my list that are sitting in there un-closed.

What are you even talking about? If you're not interested in Doc or his life and ideas, then of course you're going to think they're shit posts, but I'm sure a bunch of other people thought quite differently, and my list of other peoples' threads supports that. It's a completely subjective opinion.
