The Band vs. Matt Morgan & Mystery Partner (TNA Tag-Titles)

Morgan appears to be involved in a lot of things at once.A feud with Joe,the Tag& World title scenes.Creative seems to be confused on what to do with him but this could be good for Morgan since he has a lot of options.The Buzz surrounding the Band has died down a lot and they have kinda faded to the back ground.

I think Morgan's partner could be Christopher Daniels or Tomko,Both men would be a shock and they would make good partners for Matt.Plus there is talk of a Fallen Angel return.I think Matt will win considering The Band isn't very over and their matches are mediocre at best.

Well, not sure what to say here as to who Morgan's partner will be. However, I do believe that "The Band" sill retain the titles for a bit longer as I really believe they are waiting for LAX to return and take the titles off of them. As for Christopher Daniels being a good partner for Morgan, I just don't really see it happening. Besides, if Daniels does return, it's pretty much known that it won't be until sometime in July or after.

Im not sure who morgans partner is but i do the the band will win though because they are the best tag team in tna right now IMO and it would be sick if daniels was morgans tag partner but i dont think that will happen.

well see this is how its going to go. morgan is going to get attack from the back and there going to need to find a tag team to replace team morgan so really morgan not going to win the titles it going to be the replace tag team and tht team will be.....World.Greatest.Tag.Team.....yes they are going to make the shocker and win the tag titles at slameversty. u prob thought i was going to say lax but hernadez and morgan need to finish there fud then they can take on w.g.t.t.. and prob we will see team angle re form but prob named something america beacause team angle

While I can barely read what you said, Shelton was released on April 22nd. His no-compete clause will stay active until at least July 21st. Notgonnahappen.

I'd have to agree that a good choice would be Daniels to return, if he was really in talks with TNA about coming back to the company. Big Kev wanted a 4th member in The Band, though, so I see them keeping the title for now.

The way I'm pretty sure this SHOULD go, is to have Hernandez come back as his "surprise" partner. On iMPACT! they did the 'look twice' angle in which Morgan swears he seen Hernandez, but when he looked again - no one was there.

On a side note, I hope they don't play the storyline that Morgan is seeing things. Because, well, everyone else seen it too. (You'd think that would be a stupid storyline, but WCW did it regarding the Warrior/Hogan angle.)

Anyways, Hernandez returns, teams with Morgan, they win/regain the Tag Team Championships.. then Morgan takes one strap, Hernandez takes another and we're lead to a single's match to determine which individual gets to take total control and pick their own partner.

That leads to Hernandez winning/getting revenge on Morgan, then selecting Homicide. Especially if any of the rumors of a reunion of L.A.X are true. And thats that.

Anyone else worried that in the Bischoff/Russo/Hogan tradition of shocking people/doing things just because no-one expects it, that Morgans partner might just be Sean Waltman? It does kinda make sense & just because they said they released him, it doesn't mean he'll never, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever! Work there again.

Sean Waltman was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. he isnt going to wrestle for TNA again for quite some time.

As Daniels and Hernandez are currently wrestling for AAA in Mexico and both of them are booked for Triplemania on June 6, it would be pretty weird for them to show up at the PPV and go back to Mexico again.
Why would Daniels go back to TNA again, all that would happen would be him getting buried and thrown in to midcard hell.

The Band'll come out first and under Band Rules (TM), it'll be EY and Big Kev. Morgan'll come out and wait at the top of the ramp... ... ... ... then... ... ... 'HBK' will appear on the big sceen and a bastardised version of the Sexy Boy theme music will play as the place errupts - cut to the Band looking aghast. Morgan and Shawn walk down to the ring and a short in ring brawl will occur with the Band quickly scarpering. Shawn'll cut an emotional promo telling the Band that he's there to get revenge for them walking out on him not once but twice in WWe leaving him to tread water with Daddy's boy-in-law. The match will commence Nash Vs Morgan - after a typical big mans jockying for position, Morgan makes the hot tag and Shawn jumps in but Big Kev scarpers and tags EY, a prolonged battle between the two small men will break out (quicker, more entertaining) and then HBK tags in Morgan from a wrist lock. Some outside interference from Hall and the Band get work over Morgan, several minutes of this go by - Shawn is frantic, he prevents a three count after an EY elbow, the crowd are baying for blood, EY goes up for a second elbow and taunts Shawn as he is performing one of his signature moves, Morgan moves. EY realises he can't get to Big Sexy before a tag happens and attempts in vain to get to Matt... too late. HBK comes in, the crowd goes ballistic. He dodges an EY clothesline- flying clothes line- nip up- he pastes EY punch- punch- atomic drop- punch flooring EY- he goes to the top rope and delivers his own version of the elbow drop- he retreats back and tunes up the band- sweet chin music- cover 1-2... pulls EY up by the hair. He motions to So Cal Val to give him a mic, which she does "No way!" he exclaims hurling EY into the Band's corner, "I want you, you big bitch!!!". The crowd by this stage is so wound up, Taz and Tenay cannot be heard. Nash's face shakes with pure anger and hatred and he tags the uncounsious Young. The two chest up, the crowd hold their breath and then... Nash hits the fingurepoke of death, Shawn goes down like he's been shot - cover 1-2-3. A recovering EY gets Razor's Edged, while Morgan gets hit with Sweet Chin Music followed by a Jackknife Powerbomb. Shawn picks up the mic he tossed to the corner barely two minutes (is that all) previous and cuts a Hogan heel turn promo in which he blasts all fans for being so naive - retiring against the Dead Man, please!!! He just used it as an excuse to jump to TNA and the Band, and escape the boredom of the 'Excellence of exe-Snoozzzzion' - nWo, Dx, The Clique... past history 'brother' - the Band is the shit now!!!

doesn anyone remember a while back that Nathan Jones was suppose to come to tna but he was injured...i believe that he is all heeled and is ready to go and he could possibly be Morgans partner that's who ive been thinking it was all along. morgan and jones have a past while they worked as a team for a short while in wwe, so i would like to see them together again have them win the titles then have LAX come back n fued with them

It won't be Daniels. He's appearing for ROH through June. It won't be Shelton or Gregory Helms, they're on no-competes. Charlie Haas I thiiiink is still on a no-compete and would be a poor choice anyway. Hernandez would make no sense whatsoever to me personally.

Tomko would work as he's similar size and they're both powerful, but I just don't think it will be.

Has anyone overlooked the idea that Morgan may actually be insane and has an imaginary friend? I know that sounds ******ed... but is it beyond TNA to send him into the match alone? Split personality disorder or whatever, thinking he's two people, or seeing another person.

I doubt the LAX rumors are true. It sounds more like an excuse to keep Homicide under contract. However I could see Samoa Joe being his partner. Then at the PPV Hernandez distracts Morgan during match like on iMPACT!. Leading to Hernandez/Morgan while Joe feuds with The Band. At least that's what I can make of this.

I see The Band retaining here sadly. As much as I dont want The Band to be the tag team champs I think they have to retain because really Matt Morgan desverd more then being a one man tag team wrestler.

Althought I do see a swerv coming where Samoa Joe is Morgan parthner and they become tag team champs though. I don't know how to explain it but it will happen I think.

I'd love to see a bit where Angle and Morgan keep yapping at each other while Angle gets called "little bald guy" over and over again, comes out signs a contract as "little bald guy" (wait for it) ... At the ppv Morgan goes out cuts a heel promo saying "send out OUR little bald guy" *lights go out, queue Kurt's music* and up through the stage rises ... The perverted little bald midget. Who does some funny running through the legs bit with Hall and Nash, then gets caught, tossed into Morgan, who gets the snot kicked out of him 3 on 1 and a half, then left as roadkill in the ring. Kurt comes out wearing a main event mafia "godfather" rose. And stomps Morgan some more.
Bischoff loves cheap cross promotion. And it'd be funny as hell. Maybe work in a weird lovers triangle gimmick with Rosie, JB, "little bald guy", and Lacey. As over-the-top as the Lottalove gimmick is, it'd be even more rediculous with a midget.
Take it all the way to the extreme. Yeah, I'm talking midget pimp!

Who the hell knows who it'll be. I guess Hernandez would make some sense, but I can't see them winning if that's the case. In fact, I can't see Morgan winning regardless of who his partner is. I appears they have something planned for the Band, whatever the hell that is.

In the end, I bet Joe is Morgan's partner, just because. Obviously he won't talk or explain anything, cause that's not how he rolls. Joe beats the shit out of Morgan at some point for no apparent reason. Yippie

I guess Morgan's partner could be anyone. I'll go with Joe because I really can't think of anybody else right now. Joe will probably stay quiet for most of the match, snap, and then beat up Morgan. Anyway, it really doesn't matter who Morgan's partner is. TNA has him turn on everyone they pair him with, and I don't think anything will change here. And then you have to factor in Hernandez. He's returned, and it's painfully obvious he's going to distract Morgan or interfere in the match this Sunday.

The Band will retain here, but I'm just wondering, where does TNA plan on going with them? We all know Hall won't be a regular in the ring, and Young just isn't the heel TNA keeps trying to make him out to be. Who knows, maybe The Band will have a very lengthy reign.

I'm not really sure who the tag partner will be, I don't think it will be a new aqcuisition...cuz I don't think TNA have signed anyone new....it could be anyone from the 100 wrestlers they got in the back doing nothing...

I think The Band will win...I got a feeling Hall won't wrestle, so it will be Nash and Young....I think TNA want to show the BAND as a dominant tag team in TNA....
