Seems to me like pretty popular name in wrestling right? It's not out of the ordinary to have 4 or 5 wrestlers share the last name, like the Rhodes family, or Ortons, or Von Erich's. I could go on and on, Flair's and the Anoa'i family. But the thing I'm getting at here is that those guys are almost always family.

I'm trying to think, and correct me if I'm wrong. I think that Anderson is the only last name that many people have shared, and it's not actually there last name, the Von Erich's of course, but they're actual family.

Arn Anderson is my favorite wrestler of all time, there's something about his in ring work that I really enjoy, well did enjoy. In fact I'm only 15 so I don't know how to go about saying that to be honest. I like his in-ring work, although he's long been retired.

Gene Anderson I honestly don't know to much about, except the match's that I've watched with him and Ole Anderson teaming. I even think them two got awarded PWI Team of the year a couple times in the 70's, but don't quote me on that one.

Ole Anderson- I know a little bit more about Ole Anderson, I've watched several of his matches in AWA. In AWA he went by Rock Rogowskie (may be spelled wrong) Him and another one of my favorite's Ox Baker won the title 2 or three times. I've watched many of his Mid-Atlantic matches as well. I'm pretty sure I remember watching a match with him against Dusty Rhodes, who I really don't like.

Lars Anderson- I only know a tiny bit about Lars Anderson, I know he was really well on the mic. I've watched one match with him and Gene Anderson, but I also know he did team with Ole Anderson, but I've yet to watch a match of theirs.

C.W. Anderson- Well, CW sure isn't a old-school wrestler like the others, but I decided to include him in this thread because it helps me get my point across, and that point will be explained right about....

Now,.... The whole point of this thread is to talk about the Anderson family, and how none of them are related, other then the sons of the original Anderson. I find it pretty cool that people joined into this Kayfabe family. Could you imagine a group of Kayfabe Cena's that span the next 40 years?

So if you'd like to share you opinion on the Anderson's or anything I've talked about in this thread, feel more than welcomed.

I'm so tempted to put my neck on the line and ask a Moderator or Admin to let you out of here. You don't deserve to be in here. I mean, look at the quality of your posts. I'd love to see you back in the mainstream of the forum.

Thank you. I think I can handle being on the forum. I've finally realized that this is a discussion forum, not a "screw off" forum, you know what I mean, the type of forums that just post smiley's and one liners.

90's, the best way you can help him is by posting in his thread. And staying on topic.

I don't know much beyond Ole and Arn Anderson, I'm afraid. Oh, and Ken Anderson, but I don't think he is what you were thinking of. I'm surprised you didn't mention that Ole Anderson was the brains and the voice behind "The Shockmaster".

Nice job, not a bad little thread you got going on. Best thing you can do now, ignore any flamming, or spam, and keep the posts up. Eventually one of the admin's will take notice. Just takes some time. I don't know enough about the Anderson's to really contribute much here.. But wanted to say this was a pretty good idea.

Can anyone else think of an extended family in wrestling that weren't really a family?

That's because you're a young ignorant punk. I bet you know all about someone like Shawn Michaels though.

You're younger then me you fuckng bitch! and no it's because I only watched WWF. Not WCW. Also I didn't start really watching much till 91. So go fuck yourself your sister you piece of white trash shit.

Sorry. I just did. Keep up the good work though on this thread. Ignore the other prick. You keep doing things this way, and you'll be out of here sooner rather then later

My advice for your next thread is to focus it. For example, this thread: you could have made it a thread about kayfabe wrestling families. Or you could have referenced something specific and worked from there. Just going "These were some guys, they did some matches or something, let's talk about them" isn't going to cut it. Avoid what I call the "Tenta Trap": don't spill everything you know in the OP. A good OP should be brief but effective in communicating the purpose of the thread. You want to bring up your topic, give enough information without drowning us in it, and leave room for the thread to grow.

Keep up the effort, though.

I'm following the Crock's lead, and going to open a thread. It was one I did in the open Forum's a while back, and I'm going to post it in here, give you a chance to make a reply. Show your stuff. I know you got it in you, just need the chance to show it

Don't get your panties in a wad Mongoose McQueef! It's not my fault you're clueless about the early wrestling. I suggest doing some research and learn what you're talking about.
