We are casting the 4th annual WWE Diva Search!

The WWE Divas Brand is currently up to new and exciting things - The Divas are frequently appearing in music videos (see the new Timbaland video), TV shows (Smallville, Extreme Makeover, Home Edition, and more...), doing tributes to the troops (just went to Iraq). We are building all kinds of cutting edge, new opportunities to help build the Divas brand.

No wrestling experience or aspirations to wrestle necessary. One lucky woman will be awarded a one year WWE talent contract worth $250,000. In addition, WWE is always looking for a variety of women to fill other positions on our 3 shows, Monday Night 'Raw', Friday Night 'Smackdown' and ECW. WWE is not just looking for one girl. We're looking for several!

A WWE DIVA is a fun, fearless girl who is beautiful, physically fit, athletic, comfortable with her body, has a sparkling personality and a great presence about her. This is the 4th annual Diva Search... Past and present Divas include: Stacey Keibler, Layla El (2006 Diva Search Winner), Torrie Wilson, Christy Hemme, Candice Michelle, Trish Stratus and Ashley Massaro (currently on April 07 Playboy cover)...

Casting Directors: Kristin Prouty, Jane Livshin, Lindsay Colip
Interview Dates: Beginning week of 5/4 and ending 7/16
Shoot/Start Date: July 18, 19, 20th are finals
Pay Rate: winner takes $250,000/1 year contract
Location: Los Angeles


I'm alright with another Diva search, but it just seems like there are ALOT of random "Divas" on all the shows that Dont do anything... so why is WWE looking for more? like trinity, Michelle and Maryse...

Also, that line that i underlined really just worries me... I mean, No wrestling experience, OR EVEN WANTING TO WRESTLE is required!?!? WTF?

Why cant the womens division in WWE be like the matches gail kim and Jackie are having over in TNA?

Seriously, whens the last time you saw a WWE diva jump off the top of a cage at an oponent?

I don't see the point of it. Why not just hold tryouts for Divas. That way they wouldn't have to pay a quarter of a million to the winner. What are they paying last years winner for? Five minutes of dancing every Tuesday on ECW. It's worthless.

If I wanted to see girls prance around in skimpy clothing I'd just log onto my computer WWE.

Then again when I was a kid in the attitude era with no access to adult materials, my copy of Fully Loaded 98 where Sable shows her tits(painted slightly with green paint but still exposed) was like the holy grail to me and my friends. Right on WWE, kids need more wackoff material and you've done that for us.

I hate the Diva Search and do not understand why they are having another one when the fans don't give a sh*t and WWE already has enough eye candy divas anyways. The Diva Search segments are more of a bathroom break than Khali's squash matches IMO. When the Search starts I bet RAW will have one less match to have 10 minutes for the Diva segment that could have included younger guys like Kenny and Nitro, I guess we won't be seeing them at all since we barely see them today.

Why don't they put on a good match every week instead of finding a diva that no one will care about and will probably not be there after the year contract is up.

That's what I do while the Diva Search is on. Honestly, i want to get a spoon, and stab myself to death with it rather then watch the Diva search. Has there been anything more painful then watching this the last three years. I didn't mind the first year, because A) Christy Hemme is a fucking goddess and why the WWE let her go is beyond me. and B) I forget the one chick that didn't want to be there, but kept going on every week, just pissing everyone off, that was funny.

With the exception of Christy Hemme, the Diva search is a monumental bust, pun intended.

For real, another Diva search will definitely be a waste of time. Like someone said earlier, last years winner is doing nothing but dancing with a chick who can't even buy beer yet and some random bikin model. Christi is in TNA feuding with VKM, and Ashley seems to go out every 6 months with an injury, and if the rumors are true, she may be gone soon anyways. Seriously, lets narrow down the actual women wrestlers..Melina, Mickie, Jillian, Trinity, Candice (who is getting better) and Victoria. And wtf is the point of a diva search? Sure, the winner gets a guaranteed 250000 contract, but why have the damn thing if they are going to hire a bunch of the losers anyways? Must be if you're ditsy enough, or have enough "assets" you can blow the compeTITion, and still get hired, so why bother taking airtime away from guys that need all they can get?

Torrie? She hasn't even been in a wrestling match in what, two years now? She has zero skills as a wrestler, and I'm sure the local board's female wrestling aficianado Echelon will be here shortly to agree with me.

True though, only good thing to come out of the Diva Search was Christy Hemme. That girl is so hot that it's geniunely scary. How WWE let her go when she was actually willing to train and was actually getting better in the ring AND she had everything the WWE usually wants in a female(smokin' hot) is beyond me.

This is what kills the purpose of the search. The search should be like Tough Enough and instead of it having its own show just pick divas that can wrestle and look good this way we can be entertained in more than one way. Thats the problem with WWE. When they see Divas they think one dimensional about them. But then again, WWE is trying to prove a point and that is Divas are different than Women Wrestlers. In order to be a diva you got to have three things. A cut face, nice ass and beatiful tits for Mcmahon to admire. In order to be a womens wrestler you need in ring ability. Thats the reason the women division is declining and thats because no one has in ring ability. Also the diva search causes friction backstage. Think about it. Ashley came in from Diva search with a good attitude for the first two years and then in '07 she has attitude because she becomes a title contender. Didnt they have the same problem with Layla? Not the current Layla in WWE but the other one on Deal or No Deal.

Guys,come on you really have to wait and see what girls are participating.Maybe there will be some participants that can wrestle.So really dont jump to conclusions.

But if it is some diva that cant wrestle or doesnt want to wrestle ill be angry.

That was Sarcasm. There is no point on another Diva Search, unless you make it the same as the very first one, and actually TRY to find Female wrestlers. Or better yet, why not Ditch the name "Diva Search" and use the name "Diva Tough Enough"? That'd be cooler, I want to see the Womans division heat up. They're soon gonna have to change the name of the title to the "Diva Championship", where the title most likely will change under Pillowfights and Dacing Contests that are allk the same, but have different names, making them the "First Ever". It's all the same, they walk around, dance a little, one will do somthing stupid to get a boo, and the winner will be (Surprise!) Either Torrie Wilson, or the new Diva! Well, at least, like I posted at the beggining, new Wackoff Material... Thats the only good of it...

I think that the Diva search is the most pointless waste of crap WWE does, why don't they go out to indy shows and try to recruit women that can actuelly help out the womens division, WWE has enough worthless eye candy right now wwe don't need another one, let's look at the previous three winners and where they are now, 1st was Christy Hemme, the most promiseing diva search winner, and they sent her packing, now she's qorking for the competiton, 2nd was Ashley, though she looks good, the only thing she has accomplished is to get a playboy spread, and a Womens title shot at WM, which is the same thing that Christy did, oh and Ashley has also manage to attract a lot of backstage heat as well, and not because she's hot either, and finally 3rd was Layla, who I can not stand, the only thing she has done is go to ECW and join kinky Kellys not so Extreme Expose, she sucks, but if she follows the pattern of the two before her you can bet she'll be naked in playboy and wreslting for the womens title at WM next year, with all the failure that the Diva Search has already brought into the company, you'd think they would have learned there lesson and just drop the danm thing already

Yeah, like that Hotel Erotica episode with Candice Michelle in it... Model Behavior. It's sad that I remember that name. The wwe has already had so much failure with the Diva Search, I can't believe they don't just give up on it. The only good one was Christy Hemme's, and look what they did to the best Diva on Earth!

OK, this will NEVER happen, but how many of you would like to see something like this to decide the WWE Women's title? First, McMahon gets mad for some reason (perhaps a few divas reject him after he hits on them or something) and fires all the divas. Then the next week, he hires them all back, and says that the women's title is vacant and will be decided "in this very ring" tonight. And in typical McMahon fashion, adds "Oh.. by the way"... and then says that it will be a "last woman standing match". The participants can be Victoria, Mickie, Melina, Maria, Candice, and Torrie. It's basically a free for all with all the ladies in the ring at the same time, and to have a winner all the other ladies have to be knocked out for 10 seconds and only 1 standing. Not really involving blood or weapons, but just a good 8-12 minute match. I'd have Maria and Torrie drop first after a couple minutes, and just stay down. Then I'd have the remaining 4 battle for about 6-7 minutes, at any one time 1 or 2 are down and out, but get up before there's only 1 left standing. At about the 9 or 10 minute mark, I'd have Melina go down, then tease a face winning. But Maria would hit Mickie by mistake, allowing Victoria to hit a Widow's Peak on Mickie. Then she'd nail Maria as well, leaving Victoria the last woman standing, and your new WWE Women's champion. I'd LOVE to see this match.

I agree it's time for it to go. There eye candy diva search wrestlers are finally getting better in the ring and they are going to bring in useless talent all over again so it can be another 2 years before they know how to wrestle. The only 2 diva search people I can really respect are Christy Hemme and Candice Michelle. Christy was good at wrestling and Candice is finally getting better and is also leaping towards being the first diva search participant to win the title. Chrsity and Candice did do Playboy but that was before their improvement time. So now Christy is gone I only respect Candice and she is the only one who should be there from the whole thing. Kristal and Michelle are good but I still think they are not that great yet!

The women's division is slowly improving and bringing in more IMO T&A is just going to lower it.

I pray to god that they don't have someone like MIZ or Coach hosting the search, how much you wanna bet that this years winner ends up on ECW, as the newest member of EXtreme Expose or as I like to call them The Nitro Girl Rejects
