i missed that segment but i read about it. like i said earlier, i don't particularly like edge, but i respect him alot. he showed that he's willing and able put someone over. there is no doubt that put cena over at the cost of his popularity just to make cena look good.
I thought that too, it sort of annoyed me, makes fans seem so fickle. They were booing the heck out of Cena and cheering for Edge, Edge says "This isn't Canada" and all the sudden they forget that they don't like Cena and cheer for him like it was what they had been doing all along. Cena didn't have to do any work.
I personally think it’s silly that there are still people who refuse to let things go after nine years. I’ve known people from other boards who designated themselves as “honorary Canadians” and hate on HBK for what happened nine years ago! These people need to get a life! If the Montreal fans could cheer for HBK, those other fucking losers need to learn to move on from the past. It was and still is not that big a deal. It was an unfortunate thing that happened years ago, but it doesn’t affect world hunger, poverty, or any other major world events.
Repeat after me: If Montreal could forgive HBK, then so could I.
