Thanks Strowman. This way to the dog house.

You never can judge a case like Braun Strowman. Look at someone like Batista and how he started. How many of us would have guessed he'd go on to be a multiple time world champion and an all time great? Great Khali, if it weren't for his health issues who knows how many more runs he would have had? His first was very successful. Kane was originally suppose to be Undertaker fodder I'm sure. I'd be willing to bet an arm that no one could have guessed the Kane character would have the success and longevity that it has. Same with Undertaker. Strowman could go on to be an all time great. Or he could flop and be gone by next year. It's anyone's guess.

As far as his role goes, he plays it really well. He's a decent talker, he doesn't come across as all that awkward, he's got some good mannerisms, and he's pretty agile when he needs to be.

I don't know how long he's going to be on the main roster for. He's green as lettuce and historically speaking, wrestlers who get hot-shotted into the spotlight before they're ready usually don't last very long the first time around. It's not his fault, he just started training not too long ago and it's not like he's the one who makes the creative decisions but still, he's going to have to get the training in eventually.

It seems all he can really do right now is headbutt and punch but I can clearly see his purpose. He's really the best fit for the role of Wyatt enforcer and he's believable enough to look like a true force, but I can see him eventually going away for 6 months or so when this program ends. Who knows how well Strowman is going to do in the future? It's almost impossible to make that prediction at the very outstart of somebody's career.

Strowman's purpose is strictly to elevate Bray Wyatt and nothing more, lMO. Likewise the rest of the family, be it Harper/Rowan, etc.

Like others have pointed out, Strowman is inexperienced and thus, I believe he will probably be sent back down to developmental again at some point when the "family" are no longer required for the Bray Wyatt character. Right now, he is simply the huge Monster of the family that will be the ultimate protection for Bray Wyatt and a major roadblock for the Babyface/(s) who face-off against the family.

As others have pointed out already, Strowman isn't really there to become this huge star. He's a green, big guy who is there because Rowan is not and they needed someone for their Wyatt family reunion. He'll be on his merry way after he's done helping Wyatt look legit again.

Guy seems to have lots of 1st place finishes as an Amateur strongman so I'm sure he's a legit monster, but sadly his ring inexperience plus the fact that he's already 32yo will cause him to be removed from TV pretty quickly after he's no longer needed by Bray. Unless he becomes Batista I don't see him making a career out of this.

The folly of being a big unstoppable force is that it makes your indestructability a petty novelty that will inevitably be defeated in some way.

Andre the Giant, with all his size and fame, had never legitimately held the WWF World Championship. He was body slammed in a failed attempt at winning the belt, and faded into obscurity as his physical health succumbed to the laws of physics.

Great Khali was the World Heavyweight Champion, briefly. I can barely remember it, I think his most memorable moment is a tie between being eliminated from the Royal Rumble by Beth Phoenix and ripping Santina Morello's bra off.

Braun is no Andre the Giant, I don't think he's even in Great Khali's league. Khali's debut (correct me if I'm wrong) was beating The Undertaker. Strowman's a heavy for a stable that could have been taken seriously with or without him.

I see Roman Reigns putting Strowman over, until he's granted the miraculous ability to knock Strowman down by WWE creative. I really don't think that Strowman will be put over Reigns, thus Strowman's career will be defined by how endearing he could be while playing a character who does as little as possible for his paycheck.

Completely agree. At first glance, it might seem that Reigns and Ambrose are helping build Braun Strowman into a force......and that the object of focus in this program is Strowman.

Actually, the focus is......and has been since his WM31 loss.....Roman Reigns. Ultimately, Roman will be the one who benefits while Braun serves as the stepping stone. What happens to him afterward Reigns chops him down is anyone's guess, and will depend more on what he can still bring the company after his air of invincibility is shattered.

For now, though, it's proper and logical to make Strowman look like the second coming of Tiny ('Zeus') Lister, the unstoppable force who ultimately winds up being.......well, stopped.

While I think WWE is over-pushing Braun right now, I also think it's worth it because the Wyatt Family is getting some credibility once again.

Then, why not add Samoa Joe to the Wyatt Family? He would not only give Bray Wyatt a "monster", but would add far more credibility to that whole team than Strowman does. He can decimate the big guys with a blank stare on his face. And, Joe would be believable to the folks that buy the tickets. Far more believable than Strowman is.

Because he doesn't at all fit the image of the Wyatt's being a backwoods horror movie cult gang, whatever they are meant to be. Samoa Joe has had a legendary career outside of WWE so a certain part of the crowd would cheer him and he would struggle to gain legitimate heat. He doesn't have the height factor, the idea is for Wyatt to have to big guys behind him, reading to do his bidding.

You are thinking logically but not creatively

If they are going to build Strowman into an absolute monster then you have to let him and the family target Rollins pretty soon and go for the heavyweight title...

heck, either build them up big or axe the wyatt family once and for all... have one go for heavyweight title, one go for intercontinental and one go for U.S. if they win all they can dominate the business for a bit
