Anxious to hear everyone's thoughts on the Team Mickie vs Team Michelle elimination matchup.

With Mickie recently getting traded to Smackdown, and possibly heading for a Music Career, is anyone holding their breath to see her actually survive the Survivor Series?

I honestly, don't know what I think about this match, I suppose it will be decent, but the divas really haven't been that appealing to me for awhile now. I don't find many of their matches to be that entertaining. I don't think this will be either, it looks like they're just going to throw a bunch of divas together so that they can have a match on the ppv....

You know what I'm so sick of this crap. Those divas train for years to entertain you, they put their bodies on the line and all you do is insult them and I'm sick of it especially since I want to be a WWE diva one day. What are you going to do when I'm there talk about how bad I am. The divas can't help that they only have a short amount of time to work a match they do their best. Okay now since I said that personally I can't wait for the match it's about time the divas get a match in a PPV. I see team Mickie winning, it would set Mickie up to facing McCool for the womans championship that she has held for what 5-6 months now, she has to lose it sometime you know.

Should be a boring match...since most of the WWE divas fail miserably at the second W. I agree with Paradox they're just throwin' in a bunch of divas so they can get ppv time...

True, we bash the divas wrestling matches, but all for good reason. You also seem to forget that all but 2 or 3 of the Divas are stick figure models that had absolutely no wrestling ability experience prior to their signing. Then, WWE realizes "This is a wrestling corporation so they have to know how to wrestle(to an extent) as well as look sexy posing in shoots." So, they have to be trained from scratch. Most guys may like to see some women with nice bodies bouncing around the ring but there are those wrestling fans that truly want to see wrestling skills, and I just dont get that in the divas matches.

Now I'm not saying I totally dislike watching diva matches. I watch a diva match every once in a while but only if it invloves Mickie James or Beth Phoenix(two of the three divas who imo actually knows how to wrestle pretty well) When WWE looks more at ability instead of looks I'll look at the matches more, but until then I'll simply just change the channel until its over.

Yes they do, I applaud them for that, but I am a paying fan. I have the right to criticize a product that I pay for. If they don't entertain then I'm going to criticize them. I do the same thing with the men that preform. I am a huge fan of Mickie, and some of the other Divas that can put on a good match. I loved the diva's division when it had women like Trish, Lita, Jazz, Chyna, Victoria(before she was a joke.) Even Torrie. They could all have a good matches on a regular basis. Now? Not so much, as many of them our there for nothing more than for their looks. Do I like it no... That's what we have though and we have to deal with it, so yes I will be critical of it.

I'm glad this is happening. I've been saying for 3 years now that the survivor series should include a diva survivor series match. We all talk about not taking the divas seriously. A simple way to change that is that at the major PPV's, they should have involvement. Specifically, having a survivor series match just like the men and perhaps having their own battle royale at the royal rumble for #1 contendership to either title. Those things would make you at least try to care about their division. I'm glad they are finally doing this at the survivor series, but I'm not so sure how it will pan out. That much remains to be seen, but at least it's on the card.

See thats the thing people liked it when Trish was there and Lita that was when the divas were given more time. I'm not saying that you can't say what you want you can. I just don't like them being criticized and I really don't want you or anyone else to criticize me when I get there.

I'm a female, and I also think that some of the female wrestlers in the WWE are not really good. I mean yeah they can pull eachothers hair and jump on them, but like alot of you people said, its not like how it used to be. Most of the girls there are just for show. I just liked it when they would actually fight, not all this little crap they have on.

Can't wait! I'm so torn on who I want to win. A part of me want's team Mickie to win, just so Melina and Eve can pick up the win. But the other part of me once Michelle and Alicia to win, so I'm excited to see who wins.

I have a feeling it's going to come down to Mickie, Michelle, and Beth Pheonix though. The last few weeks of Smackdown, they have been pushing and teasing and possible Michelle/Mickie feud, and with them being the leaders of their groups I can see it coming down to them.

But they are also building Beth back up as a unstoppable force so I wouldn't be shocked to see her picking up the win for her team. Another possibility is that we may see the return of Maryse. There have been rumours of her possibly returning soon, and I could see her maybe costing Melina's team the match, setting up a possible feud between them.

I'm just glad we get a diva's PPV match, and happy that most of my faves are in it.

Actually, I've been a fan of Mickie ever since her "pyscho lesbian" gimmick with Trish (who can forget the time she bodyslammed Trish then licked her fingers after?). In all honesty, in her recent matches, she looks bored-just going through the motions. It bothers me that she has real talent (unlike most of the Divas); but what is left for her to accomplish. How many times can she win the belt?

To be honest, I would like to see her beat McCool before she leaves. I'd hate to see her career end with McCool gloating how she could never beat her. The Divas as a whole need to learn some things from the Knockouts. You can pretty and wrestle. Please WWE STOP hiring models instead of wrestlers.

As far as the PPV, they need filler in PPV's. Sadly, that's what this ends up to be.

So Happy to see someone else feels the same way I DO. I LOVE the WWE Divas! And not just cause they're EXTREMELY HOT!!!!

But I love to watch them wrestle in the ring. I'm most looking forward to seeing this match up. I think ppl need to stop acting like they're the worst part of a show, they are GREAT. Very talented.

I do think all they need to do is go TV-14 again. Seriously look at the Divas then. They were wrestling hardcore matches all the time, had the first Steel Cage Divas Match, we had Chyna in the Royal Rumble, she won the I.C. title, Jacqueline won the Light Heavyweight title and they got cheered! Trish and Lita only continued to shine after the old Divas faded out

they leave, and now everyone's complaining about the future Divas?

Mickie & Melina are the best right now IMO.
& Beth, Michelle, Gail & Natayla are great as well

hell Trish passed the torch to Mickie

and look at what Melina & Beth did in the first Divas I Quit Match (I love Melina's flexibility btw, that's nice to watch her use in the ring and truly be brutal with it. she has one of the best finishers right now in WWE, and even when she's getting bent up by beth it's bleeping amazing)

but I think you all should lay off the Divas, and watch their talents grow and get better.

But I do think WWE should change the rating cause if this were TV-14 a lot would be better anyway

Mickie James/Trish, was the last great Diva rivalry I can remember, but if they actually gave them DECENT TIME to even talk like the guys then we could see great Diva rivalries again

blame WWE writers

Mickie won't be retiring/leaving any time soon. The same rumours where floating around last year when she went to do her business degree, and she stayed, and this time it'll be no different. Many superstars/divas have had other things going on whilst they where wrestling, and Jim Ross stated in a recent blog of his that just because Mickie is doing music, she isn't going to stop wrestling. As for her being bored on Raw, I can't say i'm surprised. When you're on the same brand for four years, facing the same people every week, and being fed terrible opponents, you're bound to start coasting a little, especially when you're consistently facing women who can't give you a run for your money.

Now the Survivor Series match, i'm hoping that we see Mickie pin Michelle and claim later that it should warrant her a title shot, but either way, this match looks like it has been made to add more fuel to the feud, which we should take as a sign that WWE are actually putting some effort into the division for once. I'm eagerly awaiting the outcome for this, and the tease of Mickie vs Michelle, we all saw it last year, and this year hopefully it gets longer than 30 seconds in the ring together, because lets face it, that 30 seconds was probably the best part of the 2008 bout. I also like how despite the rumours that Mickie was being punished, she's leading the face divas, including Melina, (possibly to victory) at one of the major WWE PPV's. If they're punishing her, they're doing a god awful job of it.

Can't wait!

Well that makes one of you. The delusions I had of actually buying this have officially been snuffed out. The Kofi/Orton match had turned my stomach a bit, and this one has killed any ideas of shelling out $40 for this.

Mickie is one of the best in the match, and will probably be the first one eliminated. As long as this is short and painless, it could be a semi-tolerable match.

The match should be decent as long as they let the women who can actually wrestle get the most ring time. Hopefully this match sets up a Maryse return to cost Melina the match or a Beth Phoenix shot in the Women's division by having a miscue with Michelle McCool.

But Nicole I'm sorry but I can't watch a Knockout match and then watch a Diva's match and act like I'm impressed. It doesn't matter how much TV Time you get that doesn't mean you have to stop training during your down time.

Take for instance the great and mighty game of football. You think the 2nd and 3rd stringers don't practice cause they are hardly going to get any game time? HELL NO!!!!!

Same goes for the Divas, just because they aren't getting any actually tv time doesn't mean that they shouldn't train as hard. And if they are training hard then what the hell is going on? Get some better trainers cause I'm sorry but the knockouts will put on way better matches than the Divas 9 times out of 10.

So until the quality of women's wrestling in the WWE gets better then I will continue to criticize it cause there's no excuse for putting on botch performances week in and week out when your suppose to be training your ass off during any down time.

Also Nicole if you do make it as a WWE Diva one day all you have to do is keep training and working your ass off so that if you ever get on T.V. we won't criticize ya. Aim to be a Mickie James not a Kelly Kelly or Alicia Fox. That's all the advice I have for ya. Or if TNA is still around when you break into the wrestling business I would advise you to go there instead, they seem to train their women better. Or better yet TNA actually hires Women who can wrestle!

This match doesn't interest me in the slightest bit. Seriously, why is Alicia Fox getting a push? There is nothing about her that I like. I mean, if it's about race, then why not just push Layla, who is much more attractive, because if they cared about wrestling ability, maybe four or five divas would have a job. They had a match like this last year. It sucked. Seriously, if they keep this whole "Oh we're both faces/heels, let's be friends and walk out to the ring together so we don't get left off of the show, even though no one cares anyway." thing going on, then I might turn off the TV when I see a diva match come on. As for this match, expect Team Mickie to get the win with the sole survivors being Mickie and Melina.

Yeah, we probably will. You seem to have mixed up views about what a WWE diva's main purpose is - and it's not to be a great wrestler. They're insulted because people find them boring. If you find them attractive it's okay, but a majority of people don't fancy a majority of the divas, and therefore find them boring. Whether it's their fault or not, we're the ones who have to watch them.

Anyway, I probably won't watch this match properly, what's the need? The diva's, while not horrible, really aren't that great. If guys had the talent most of them do they wouldn't have a job. And seeings as I don't watch the WWE to look at women, I don't really care about the divas anymore. The match probably won't last very long either, they generally don't.

Alicia is currently the only viable heel on Raw. Whilst I'm not a fan of hers, she's substantial enough to put on an ample bout when needed too. Layla isn't pushed because the lime light always seems to be fixated on Michelle, however, Layla at least gets character and promo time regularly, so take that for what it's worth. If she continues with her improvement, expect a possible push for her in the future. Although, I can't understand Alicia being on the heel team and not Natalya, especially since Natalya was just recently on the team at Bragging Rights.

I don't think people hate on the divas just because they're "boring". It's more so everyone's tired of better talent being pushed aside for the greener divas, and they're sick of the sloppy work being delivered by unkempt rookies. If you notice, people rarely deprecate the work from Katie Lea, Melina, Mickie James, etc, and it's because they're not boring, but very colourful in the ring. In terms of character, they're not the best things in the world, but even then, it shouldn't be the divas being insulted, it's the bookers and creative team who aren't giving the women anything to do. I understand why people don't find them entertaining, however I don't see the point in wasting time watching something you get no enjoyment from.

I think there could be an interesting swerve here. I believe it is going to come down to Mickie, Michelle, and Beth. Now Beth as of late as been getting cheers, as she destroys jobbers. And McCool has the whole attitude that she is better than everyone. I see McCool stirring the pot and getting in Beth's face, only for Beth to beat the living piss out of her and she just leaves. Mickie comes in, kinda shocked and she gets the pinfall and her team is victorious. These could set up Beth as the tweener, Mickie as the face, and McCool as the heel for a future triple threat match for the strap. So Team Mickie is who I got my money on.

Not sure who all is in this, but o well. You gotta think they have something planned for Beth with what they've been doing with her recently. I could definetly see her turning somehow to give Mickie's team the victory, or maybe just single handidly take out every other Diva in this match. I wish that'd happen, Beth would actually be entertaining, something she hasn't been since Glamerella.

As for the quality of the match itself, what do you expect? It's a Diva's tag match, probably will be pretty standard stuff and last no more than 10 minutes, sounds decent enough to me.
