Takeshi Morishima Retires

NOAH official website has announced that Takeshi Morishima will be retiring.

The reason is that his doctor told him to retire.

Morishima got blood test and the doctor told him that the result of the test is bad.

So Morishima decided to quit this business.

Shame to see him retire he could have been one of the great super-heavyweights. Seems like it could be Diabetes.

As bad as it is to have someone have to retire at 36, it's good that he got out before things got even worse. Maybe he can lose some weight and get his health under control.

I hope at the least he stays in the business in some aspect, I am sure NOAH would benefit from him staying in the office, if not learning from Jado about Booking.

He's actually slimmed down a bit from what he used to weight.

Terrible news. But health is more important than wrestling, so a good decision on his part. He definitely left a mark on the business. Poor NOAH. Absolutely nothing goes their way. From selling out the Tokyo Dome to 300 fans a show. I'm in disbelief they're still in business. Guess we can thank New Japan for that.
