Take out Batista, Insert Brock Lesnar

I'm talking about the main event picture at WrestleMania specifically. I realize having Batista adds star power to EVERY show, and seeing how Brock doesn't do every single show it makes sense to contract a guy like Batista who has worked at a house show and whatnot.. But for WrestleMania, please just give me Brock.

He's a better performer, more fun to watch, more enjoyable in the ring, way scarier, has more charisma, actually gets heat (not x-pac heat), we get to see Paul Heyman, we've never seen Brock vs Orton either, and I could just keep going on and on for all the reasons Batista should have never returned. You have Brock Lesnar.

Fuck Batista. He's unnecessary, doesn't bring anything more to the WWE, and I dare say he actually HURT the WWE (Punk quitting. Albeit not 100% on Batista probably not even 50% on Batista but he was the straw that broke the camel's back)

Just give me Brock. I want Brock. I do not want Batista. He sucks.

Man I was hoping Brock took out Christian to get in the chamber match or he did something super crazy like come up through the bottom of the fucking chamber just as it was Bryan and Orton and win the title.

To set up Bryan vs. Batista vs. Orton vs. Lesnar at WM. And then Bryan - Lesnar; David vs. Goliath feud for the Spring/Early Summer.

Don't know what Taker would have done but shit that would have been crazy and I don't think people would have been that mad.

Nobody wants to see Kane - Bryan, nobody wants to see Orton - Batista.

Brock is better at everything Batista has to offer. Brock legitimately looks like he'll fuck your shit up and on top of that has the MMA background to legitimize him.

Man the promos for Batista / Orton are going to be painful to watch. Of course that's why I can easily see them inserting Ric Flair and Triple H to handle the mic work for this match that is 8 years too late. Batista sucked a couple years ago when he left, and he sucks now. And it's not even that I dislike him; he's just not a bonafide main eventer and needs someone damn good to carry him in a match everytime. You'd think that Triple H would have learned from one of his best friends (i.e. Shawn Michaels) and from Bret Hart, that a smaller guy CAN get over and be the number one guy... YES!

I'm no fan of Batista, but I'll take him over Lesnar any day of the week. Lesnar is a f***ing crybaby who quit WWE because he didn't want to take a pay cut and lose to Undertaker. Lesnar thinks he's a much bigger star than he actually is, and thinks he should never lose. Lesnar might have been the top guy in WWE for a brief time, but he abandoned the company due to ego and I think it's an outrage that he gets paid mountains of money to wrestle three or four times a year when far better and more deserving Superstars like Rob Van Dam and Chris Jericho, who made a much bigger impact in WWE than Lesnar ever could, come back and make a fraction of the money Lesnar gets, while working TV tapings and house shows - in other words, EARNING their money. Hopefully WWE isn't as stupid as we think and they put Lesnar in the title match to make it a triple threat match. I would love it if Lesnar hit the ring during the contract signing and took out Orton and Batista and signed the contract or something like Michaels did for Wrestlemania 20. Surely to god it's not Batista and Orton one on one. I'll be there in NOLA and I'll boo everything they do and chant Daniel Bryan the whole time. Brock Lesnar has more charisma than Batista? I can easily say without Lesnar's physique, he wouldn't even be jerking curtains backstage. And that's not to say Batista is any better, just thought I'd let you know how bias you are towards Lesnar. I'll give you that Lesnar is a better performer due to his age and wrestling background, although Batista has never (as far as I know) gotten heat or any complaint for messing up or being to stiff in the ring ala Lesnar. Lesnar gets more heat? Batista isn't being booked as a heel despite what the fans think so he shouldn't receive heat. I'm not even going to dignify your Paul Heyman reason with an answer. Austin faced the Rock hundreds of times and headlined WM more than once so I don't get your point. You said Batista hurt WWE by making CM Punk quit .. Okay well I'm a HUGE Punk fan and I can tell you that if any other wrestler came in part-time and took that spot Batista had, Punk still would've left.

I guess what I'm trying to say is stop being an idiot. Both Lesnar and Batista cancel each other out in terms of pros and cons. Just enjoy WM (Daniel Bryan might even be in it if that's your thing).

If they wanted Lesnar to be the heel coming in to attack Bryan or Christian, it wouldn't have worked at the chamber. 2 miles from the U and the crowd already chanting for him, he's instantly the biggest pop of the night even if he attacks Bryan. That being said, it still would have been sweet to see. Disappointed that he didn't make some sort of appearance in his hometown.

I couldn't agree with the OP more. Batista vs Randy Orton for the WWE WHC at WM XXX is an abomination . Disgusting. Were the Rock to return to face The Hurricane or some jobber at WM XXX for just one night, I'd find it much more entertaining than Batista vs Orton. Jesus Christ. I dont find Brock Lesnar more entertaining than Batista. The original here comes the pain Lesnar would entertain me, but this lesnar who just shows up every now and then and does the bare minumum doesnt. His PPV matches since his return are forgettable to me as well.

The main problem with Batista is the fact hes perceived to have stolen Bryans place at Wrestlemania, when if it wasnt Batista it would have been someone else, WWE just didnt want Bryan to win the Rumble.

Another problem is being booked as a face. If he was able to be a heel, he could use this situatuon to his advantage, especially in a future match involving Bryan.

I honestly dont think Batista is the problem. I think it is Orton. He has being booked terribly as a champion.

He went over Cena at TLC and Rumble which gave him momentum. But losing to Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Cesaro in the last few weeks is just terrible booking. If Orton was on a streak, coupled with his win last night then I could take him seriously.

For what it is worth, I think Bryan vs Triple H will happen at Mania and if Bryan wins he will get a title shot. Whether that is at Mania or Extreme Rules I do not know. I see Batista turning heel before long though and joining his buddy Triple H to piss the fans off even more.

On a side note - 80,000 fans turning on a title winning Batista at Mania will get mainstream coverage and put Bryan over even more. The next night on Raw will be brutal....

Exactly. WWE doesnt care if the press is bad for these reasons. It is press at the end of the day. There is no scandal, they simply didnt give the fans what they wanted! Pre-Show:Tag Team Battle Royal for the tag team titles.
1.Cody Rhodes vs Goldust
2.AJ Lee {C} vs Naomi vs Tamina Snuka vs Cameron - Divas Title
3.Reigns vs Ambrose {C} - US Title with Seth Rollins as special referee {at least what I believe will happen}.
4.Cesaro vs Big E {C} - IC title
5.Christian vs Sheamus / The Ultimate Warrior vs Sheamus {depends on if Warrior will compete at Mania}.
6.Cena vs Wyatt
7.Taker vs Lesnar / Taker vs Kane {we will know after Raw tonight but Kane vs Taker will be a nice taker match if lesnar will be inserted into the ME}.
8.Bryan vs HHH.If Bryan wins he will enter the ME.

So there is a nice chance of Bryan being in the title match at Mania but we will know for sure after tonight's Raw.
