Sting's debut was awesome... maybe not as good as I expected it to be in my mind, but awesome nonetheless to finally see him in WWE... Love the idea of Sting vs HHH at Mania
I'm happy John Cena wasn't the one to overcome the odds at the end... I'm very happy Ziggler got that spot, and it was well deserved.
Also, I'm glad they acknowledged Brie and AJ both dating the same man

I'm a little surprised about the negativity in this LD about the debut of Sting in a WWE ring. I can't remember the last time I actually jumped out of my chair and threw my arms in the air while watching professional wrestling. Sure he looked old, because he is. Sure his music sucked. But seeing him interjected into a main event storyline in a meaningful manner, I thought it was fucking awesome. Too bad it was spoiled earlier in the day, but I still loved it anyway

It wasn't a bad debut. By any means. It's just that not hyping it when they were putting so much on the WWE Network and this was a man with such an incredible mystique. He was never hyped or hinted.

I hope WWE is pleased because there's no re-doing it now. No one will ever have that level of mystique again.

But yes, Sting... just a surreal moment. He looked great, too. A couple of years ago I would have said HHH is the last person I would want to see Sting in there with, but now? He's definitely the perfect opponent just at the perfect time.

I'm not at all surprised by HHH's performance. HHH is awesome in this role, and in general is just awesome.

And you're exactly right about Mania. HHH is the perfect opponent for Sting. Taker isn't happening, he's done. Cena/Sting just doesn't do it for me, especially since they're both faces; everyone else is just not good enough to face Sting. HHH/Sting is gonna be the perfect combination of spectacle AND good match. Cena and Taker wouldn't get a good match out of an old Sting.
