I should be getting it today. I'm really looking forward to it. I played it at Gamestop and was having a ton of fun. I've heard it's all around even better than the first one, which is impressive.

Right now I'm trying to unlock the Trial Galaxies in SMG1. I'm having some trouble finding the last Green Star. It's supposed to be in Dusty Dune Galaxy.

I can't wait for SMG2! I hope it has some awesome new features, I completely conquered the first one, and I got a cheat or maybe you have to do 100% completion, but I'm able to play as Luigi. I can't wait to play it, I'm SOOO glad Nintendo came out with a good new Mario franchise for the Wii (I still consider New Super Mario Bros. a sequel to the original), and I love the gameplay and story.

My only complaint with the SMG series is that the levels are a lot more linear than, say, Super Mario 64. You're pretty much forced to go from planet to planet and the star you select is the one you're getting, unless you find a hidden star or a hungry Luma. In Super Mario 64, you could go to for example Tick Tock Clock, select the first star, and get almost all of them from the get-go, like the red coins one, or Give Me A Hand, or The Pit And The Pendulums.

Great game regardless, and the levels and challenges are so well-designed it becomes basically a moot point.

I love Toy Time Galaxy. Probably my favorite in the first game.

Like I say it's only a small complaint that only comes up if you think about it too hard and compare it to Sunshine or 64. Maybe "complaint" isn't the right word. It's more of an observation.

I just got the second one. I have some things to do before I play though...

I still think Sunshine is the best modern Mario game.

Seeing Bianca Hills for the first time was a markout moment for me, especially beng on the tightropes and seeing the water. I'm no graphics ****e by any means, but the scenery ws so beautiful it was a joy to just run around doing nothing, soaking it all in.

Heck, playing any Mario game for the first time is a markout moment. I love the series.

So it's fairly awesome so far. LOVE the new world map to navigate galaxies. No more remembering what observatory to go to. Playing as Yoshi is a ton of fun, and I must admit I got all happy when I realized that riding him adds bongos to the music, just like SMW.

Kaizo Mario World is the hardest Mario World hack ever. It's almost impossible. Look it up on Youtube.

So right now I'm in Flip-Swap Galaxy, where every time you spin jump, the platforms change position. I was showing my brother how it worked, a Goomba headed straight towards me, so I didn't think and I spin jumped to knock it off the platform...and they switched and I fell and died.

It's stupid. first of all the video I saw looked like the guy cheated by walking on lava at points (I thought lava was an insta-kill). Second of all how do you derive any fun out of trying to play that?

I 120ed SMG1, and got 1 star as Luigi before I stopped caring, mainly because I never felt like playing through exactly the same game a 2nd time.

I got to last star with luigi before my wii was stolen, when i got my second wii (before selling it for rent) I just couldn't be bothered

Some of the new galaxies have some fairly clever gimmicks. Like Puzzle Plank Galaxy. A cool mechanic in that level is (spoiler'd for those who want it to be a surprise)
