"Super(enter WWE wrestler's name here)" Rant

The whole "super" thing is generally directed at HOW they win matches, not so much the fact the they win. The faces will get their ass handed to them for most of the match, then out of nowhere hit their signature moves and win the match. Cena is the one who used this method more often than not. I have yet to see CM Punk really do this and Orton has done so sparingly unless its on Smackdown or something. Honestly, this is just how faces are booked sometimes. Hulk Hogan really utilized this strategy the most, but people used to go crazy when he would "Hulk Up" and win a match. It's just the IWC bitching about things because they hate to see faces win. It's actually a really stupid moniker.

When someone complains about "Super Cena", I believe they mostly mean his miraculous comebacks. Those times when he's obvious losing a match, but then comes back at the last second to use his all-to-well-known combo. To be honest, this doesn't really bother too much. It happens all the time in wrestling, with pretty much any wrestling, from lower midcard to PPV main event - people just decided to be extra-aware of this fact with John Cena.
And, hell, it's not even so common anymore. Cena has actually lost a clean PPV match this year, so let's give at least a little bit of credit here.

And I was happy to see Randy Orton losing to Mark Henry even after his typical super-Orton comeback of "RKO out of nowhere".
Also, surprised to see Punk losing to Del Rio. Even with a steel pipe, my gut instinct was that Punk would win. Or that Cena would somehow enter the cage and win.

So, WWE is making a good job of not being all that predictable for me, which is great. I can't complain about super come-backs, currently.

Because "Bat-Cena" sounds even stupider. It's the "Hogan" principle. It's how he became a megastar and it's what's gotten Cena to this point. Most "wrestling purists" can't stand it and what better way to vent than to mock. It's basic, childish and silly. But the fact that you're making threads complaining about it is even sillier.
