So let me get this straight. People go banana pie over a possible Undertaker - Sting feud/match, when the two have absolutely zero history together, or anything in common, but at the same time, those same people do not want to see Sting versus Flair? A classic feud between to amazing wrestlers who DO have history and can make for a great set of promos and possibly a great match? Flair vs Foley surprised everyone, and it's FOLEY we're talking about. Stinger has a few great matches left in him and so does Flair. Why the hell not?
Theoretically speaking, if Rock and Austin were in their 50's today, and they could still go - I'd love to see it happen. Are they going to have the match of their lives? Hell no. But it's good for reminiscing, and sometimes that sells.
Personally, I would love to see Flair versus Sting. They're both amazing on the mic and the feud can really be enjoyed by ALL fans, including the IWC if they allowed themselves to soften the death grip they have on the "they're too old" argument. Use some common sense, be wrestling fans for one fuckin' second, will you? Old doesn't always mean bad. Jimmy Snuka is "old bad". Ric Flair or Sting are not, they never were. If they can go - do it at the drop of a dime, and they can.
