Sonic 2 is better than Pokemon

I got a Gamecube off one of my friends brother and of the games he had, there was Eternal Darkness and The Wind Waker. Both are quite good but I still don't understand why Nintendo copyrighted the gamer insanity idea if they never used it again.

I haven't played Ico but I did play Shadow of the Colossus which I just found out was made by the same people who created Ico. I might look at a Youtube walkthrough of the game if I have some extra time.
