Goku
Goku is one of the most recognizable characters in anime and manga; he has been epitomized as the Japanese equivalent to Superman, and like the Man of Steel he shares many of his powers.
Goku was born on the planet Vegeta-sai, and came to Earth following the genocide of his saiyan people at the hands of Frieza. He was found and raised by an elderly martial arts master named Gohan. After his death, the young Goku met up with the beautiful and brilliant heiress Bulma Briefs. Together they embarked on one of the greatest martial arts epics ever told.
Alongside his best friends Krillin and Yamcha, and later his son Gohan, Goku and fought and defeated some of the greatest fighters in the known galaxy. Each new enemy brought him to a new level of power, as he strove to be the best fighter that he could.
He has defeated Frieza, the powerful alien who destroyed his race, stood toe to toe with Cell, the powerful bio-andriod who shared his DNA, and Majin Buu, a terrible demon who destroyed numerous planets across the galaxy.
Powers
Super Strength: As a saiyan warrior Goku has a natural strength that is far beyond that of a normal human. As he transforms his strength increases even further.
Super Durability: Gunfire has no effect on Goku and neither do conventional weapons. He can survive being thrown into buildings and through mountains as he transforms.
Hypersonic Speed: Goku is capable of moving at speeds faster than the human eye while in normal form; when he transforms to his peak he is capable of circumnavigating a planet within seconds.
Abilities
Martial Arts: Goku was trained by several of the greatest masters not only on the Earth, but the galaxy as well, picking up new fearsome techniques along the way.
Energy Projection: Goku can fire a wide array of energy blasts from his hands, his most famous being the Kamehameha Wave. The power of the energy blasts intensify as he transforms. In his normal form, he can fire blasts that can level a building, while at his peak he can obliterate a planet with ease.
Flight: He can fly by manipulating his energy.
Transformation: Goku can transform at will to a higher state of saiyan being known as a Super Saiyan, which increases his strength fifty fold. He has two additional transformations above this, Super Saiyan 2, and Super Saiyan 3 each increasing his power many fold.
Assets
Energy Sense: Goku has developed a 6th sense which allows him feel an opponent’s life energy. Even if one were to take away his sight, hearing, and smell, Goku can still find, identify, and fight opponents using this 6th sense.
Instant Transmission: Using his ability to sense energy, Goku can lock onto the life energy of either a person that he’s met before, or a place that he’s been before and move there at the speed of light. He can use this ability even while in combat
