So it is safe to say that Aces and Eights have been a letdown?

FlexAmerican Dynamite

I honestly can't stop laughing, five months and we get Devon. Freaking Devon.

But in all fairness they didn't say he was the leader, he was revealed as a member. But as of now it looks like he's the one behind it.

But then again, Devon was really over.....in Orlando.

Devon was, in all likelihood the mole that was mentioned. He's not necessarily the leader.

The more I think about it the less I think he's the leader. That being said, for the big reveal at BFG, that's a pretty stupid pick.

Pretty big letdown, considering we were all expecting the leader tonight (and I seriously doubt they'd make Devon the leader). I'm hoping the leader's revealed on Impact, or something.

This is why I hate BFG.

We get our time wasted for five months with a shit angle that leaves most so traumatized we can't focus on the main event which ends in Jeff Hardy winning the belt ending Aries lackluster reign. I can once again say I've hated BFG for the third straight year in a row.

Im surprised Hardy even won. Better than the baby face that got built up over the entire summer losing to a shitty roll-up and a count so slow it may as well been to fucking five, like last year.

This is TNA. There is no leader / they dont actually have anyone picked for it.

Thats why they have waited so long to pull the trigger on any reveals. Im sure they had a general idea on where to go with the story as a whole, but no idea on who exactly to use as members. If they want to impress at all, they should use the reaction tonight as a reference point. Make the next reveal count, make it big.

This will continue on with more waiting before anyone else is revealed and Dvon will just be a mouthpiece. Hopefully they take this 'meh..' reaction and rethink some of their plans.

Honestly anyone less than Jarrett as the leader will be disappointing. Unless they pull a big name 'rabbit' out of their hat at the last second- it will be Jarrett.

Guaranteed if Jarrett is revealed the leader TONS of people will be pissed and complain

Although I didn't watch, based on what I read, a lot of cats are gonna complain and/or be pissed. But I want to see what happens on Thursday.

I wanna punch TNA in the face. Devon? It could've anyone else and I wouldn't be mad. Robbie E, Joey Ryan, Bully Ray, Abyss, Konnan, Chris Benoit, my mom. But it was.... Devon.

But I don't feel like the angle itself was a letdown. It became big and I often think it grew larger than intended seeing how it fizzled out after No Surrender. It produced great television. Then they revealed Devon got rehired. Maybe as the weeks go by more guys will turn up like Morgan and Ryan and on. The only way I can defend this is that it was Devon to spite Bully Ray. It's the only justification I can give it but it still makes my blood boil that DEVON is rehired.

The issue is, as KB said, no one will be a surprise if they're the leader of Aces and Eights because everyone and there mothers has been speculated assuch. If it's Jarrett, I wouldn't be at all upset, it would make sense in fact.

As for Devon...I laughed.

I am perfectly fine with Devon being a member.

As he was having contract issues with TNA, saying he joined Aces and Eights as they made him a better offer than TNA makes sense in my head.

I hope he isnt the leader though, but I doubt he is.

Am I out of the loop? You guys all seem to be over reacting!
I'm not even let down by the idea. Not much anyway. Though I havent seen it yet. (Edit: I just checked it out.)

I'm not a Devon fan, I dont even like the way he throws a punch, but if we take him as a higher up member, maybe not the leader (the aces and eights tweet "good job prospect" seems relevant?), then how big an issue is this?

On the negatives, clearly the fact that its devon, talent wise, is an issue. Surely morgan would have been a better pick? (especially with the cool graphics he's been throwing around?)

Other than that though, he is a well known guy. He's got ties to bully and respect in the back (Kayfabe). The fact is that most these members are nobodies, in terms of popularity. A Wes Brisco reveal wouldnt have done much for anyone. In terms of a relevant reveal, it wasnt too bad.

And it was a MAJOR surprise, who knew he was still working there?

Is he the leader, who knows? But ill definitely be back thursday to see whats next.

I was still hoping it was D-Lo though.

Correction: I'm still hoping its D-Lo. Are we sure this wasnt a case of mass "they all look the same to me"??

Make him the leader, make my day.
