So Are We Supposed To Forget About the Anonymous GM?

With the Authority back and no signs of the laptop GM, I am guess we are supposed to forget about it.....again?

Or will he/she make another appearance and screw the Authority over?

When it went off with a bing at the end of Raw, it felt like a cliffhanger for a long term program. But the trend over the last few weeks suggests that the laptop was a guest host, like Jericho or E&C.

It's also possible that the negative feedback caused WWE to abandon a long term plan altogether. Thing is, the Anonymous GM by itself can be a good idea, but now it's completely synonymous with heel-Michael Cole, which is what I think everyone negatively reacted to.

Either way, good riddance.

The anonymous GM was a one off guest GM. There is nothing to remember and not much to forget. I thought that was pretty clear.

Well I kind of had forgotten about it until the OP brought it up again. My guess is it didn't go over that well so they decided to forget it. Horrible, horrible idea to begin with, so you know it was all Vince behind it. Let's hope we never see it again.

It's already been pointed out that the anonymous GM was a one shot deal like all the various other guest general managers. So, what's to forget or to remember? From what I understand, nobody seemed to be all that happy that the laptop was back in the first place, so now that it's gone, who cares? It's gone, it's not gonna be permanently running things, so it's a win-win from my perspective.

I actually like the anonymous gm storyline there wasnt a payoff(I dont count Santino finding Hornswoggle under the ring) had the storyline concluded with a shock GM then it would have been well worth it.

That's my guess, too. It still seems amazing they could have taken it so far the first time.... only to completely abandon it. True, I doubt many were waiting with bated breath to learn who the person behind the laptop was, but it still came off as bad form to leave hanging an item they spent so much time on.

Of course, it probably would have been even worse had there been an outcry over the discontinuance of the angle. That there wasn't provided a good indication they shouldn't go back to it......yet when they needed a "filler" for one episode of Raw, there it was.

Well Closet Fan to answer your question yes we are suppose to forget about the Anonymous GM. When they brought it back it got bad reviews and a lot of complaints so they stopped it. I would like to know who it is, I am just curious. They can just leave it up in the air til the next time they need it.
