Snow Patrol's New Album

A Hundred Million Suns - Released 27th October here in England. Released today in the Republic of Ireland, I believe. This has the makings to be their best album. I've never been this excited about an album before. Take Back The City is one of their best singles, I was extremely impressed. I thought Eyes Open was their best album, and before the release of this single I wasn't overly excited. But now that's all changed.

That single isn't that good. You hyped it up to be really good Becca, and I was majorly disappointed. I think Eyes Open is their best album, and after listening to this song, I still think it is. This song doesn't really excite me about the new album at all. I think that even though I like Snow Patrol, they won't be able to follow up on the success of Eyes Open. So IMO, the album won't be that good, and I probably won't go out and buy it.

I hyped it up, because the only Snow Patrol single better is Chasing Cars, which they will never ever beat. I'm buying tha album tomorrow, I'm going to go on and on about how good it is until you give in and buy it just to shut me up. Or I'll send you it on msn. But you are getting it.

There albums have been getting better and better. Songs for Polarbears was okay. I haven't listened to the one after that (Note to self: Buy) Final straw was a really good album, Eyes Open was great. So you have to be hyped up over the next one, the one that's going to try and outdo it. Snow Patrol are one of the only bands I can listen to their album and love every song.

I prefer Open Your Eyes, Run and Hands Open over that actually. Which, I believe are all singles. Have you ever heard of not opening mail and not accepting files? And i'm used to people bugging me about things. Believe me, if that'sa ntyhing to go on, i'm not buying it.

When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up is still average. IMO Songs for Polarbears is better. Therefore your logic is flawed. I have to get Final Straw then, I haven't got it. This album won't top Eyes Open. That was a superb album, and had singles like Chasing Cars and Open Your Eyes. They're not going to beat that. There are about 5 bands I can listen to their album and love every song. Snow Patrol is not one of them. They're good, but you hype them a little bit too much Becca.

Bland, with a side order of bland. Credit to Snow Patrol, they've found a formula that works and they've stuck to it, but by God it's a terrible formula. When they first came out they were something different, but they've sunk into the generic ranks with Keane, you may as well only buy one Snow Patrol album, because they all sound the same, they've just gone with what works and stuck to it, there's no new ideas here, there's no imagination, it's just the same we've had for years and it encompasses everything that is wrong with British music. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" I guess.
