Does anyone know if WWE and NBC have decided to have another SNME in the future, because back in March, that was the lowest rated SNME in history, and the past one had ratings lower than that! so I'm wondering if they'll still have em'
I’m not sure it will continue, because something like SNME simply isn’t as special today as it once was. Back then it was a big deal because it was a nationally televisised wrestling event on prime time featuring matches between establish stars (as opposed to stars vs. jobbers) that only happened once every few months. Now we get that TWICE weekly with Raw and Smackdown. Right now SNMW would just be another wrestling program on TV.
if they do have another one then they should probably concentrate on putting decent matches on instead of the craptacular two hour promofest that the last two have been(for the love of god just one good match is all i'm asking for)
I think there going to use SNME for big PPV hype like WM, Survivor Series, Summerslam etc.. I dont think it will last much longer if the ratings continue to drop.
There should be a twist with SNME to make it more interesting, like championship match's are SD Vs RAW superstar or ECW and the loser leaves town, Forcing them to start again on the other show. That way the main eventers can be mixed up a bit and with smart booking keep it fresh.
No way dude they should definently not have all loser leaves town matches that would be terrible. What they should do is treat it like a pay per view and have some sweet ass matches, not the bullshit matches they had last time.
So you want the same 4-5 wrestler's feuding for years. . . . . . .
The reason they went to SD and RAW being seprate brands was so more talent got a chance and the product was fresher, If say every 3 months a main eventer was forced to move to another show it would give a chance to have A) newer talent getting a push and storyline. And B) an end to the same match's over and over.
All SNME needs to do is have some stip. matches or some main event calibur matches.. That would easily get ratings.. Also need to work less on the segments and more on the wrestling.
