Life's A Bitch, And Then You Mosh

Unlike the last few threads I've started, this is a band I actually like, a lot. They've been around since 2001 or 2002, and the video posted was their first single, and possibly their only hit. There's no "official" video, so deal with a live version.

Since their first album, they've added a second guitarist. It's not known whether they officially have 2 albums, or 3, because the second one is only available through illegal downloading, and hasn't been released by a label. The two that are official, are both very good, and you can see a lot of growth between them. Their lyrics border on being punk, but their music is clearly rock, and they're good at it.

What are your thoughts?

Back to the music of the early two thousands again. I can never get over how popular this kind of music is here :)

I like some of the guitar work here, he has an interesting echo effect or something on it but other than that its fairly bland. The singing unfortunatly is the weakest aspect in my opinion- part of the chorus just sounds like a mumble to me. But the rest of the band doesn't really stand out either. Its a mainstream rock song and not too great a one- kinda similar to the stuff Puddle of Mudd were doing at the time, except they had a better singer.

Anyways here's hoping that the second guitarist adds something to the band- I had been kinda holding out at least for a cool solo at the end :(

I forgot all about these guys to be honest. I used to love "Bottom of a Bottle" back in my teenage borderline junkie days. Really good teenage rebellion song. I did have the album but I really only remember a few songs. "Silhouettes" was awesome. Quite possibly one of my favorite songs of all time. There was one other song they had, I believe they had a video for it. I can't watch videos, but maybe you could help me out NSL?

I honestly don't know if Silhouettes ever had an "official" video, but I know that there's live videos of it. I can't open up any more tabs right now, so I can't post any. As far as other songs on the album with a video, I'm not sure which it could have been.

I also don't think they did any new videos with the last album. If you get the chance, and you want to hear some of their new stuff, look up songs like Freaks Are Coming, Jesus Is The Manager At Wal-Mart, and Lost At Sea. The album is musically miles ahead of the first one, but the lyrics/vocals are all the same.
