Horrible botch to end the show. Clearly AJ hit first before Harper even had his feet off the steps. He was still on the ring apron when AJ touched the floor. At least use a different camera shot. Come on!

I also wonder if had the ending been done better, was there a different plan in mind. Maybe they announce Harper as the winner and then AJ flips on Bryan/Shane and that's how we get to the Shane/AJ match. Bryan was very vague with his "we'll find out next week", almost as if they didn't really have a plan.

I was just going to say the same thing. Heat should be on the person that planned that finish. It was an awkward position period.

Look, I like that Harper has been getting a push recently but he isn't anywhere near the kind of level to even be considered for a Mania ME, and also there is no need for a Shane McMahon match at Mania either.

Just give the spot to AJ Styles and have Bray vs Orton vs AJ at Mania for the WWE title to close out Mania.

There's still time to build Nakamura vs AJ for Wrestlemania. It's what they need instead of Shane stealing a spot again. Plus the story makes more sense as they have a history and Harper vs Orton vs Wyatt also makes more sense thinking about the story being told.
