Smackdown Getting Mauled in the Draft...

OK, it's 2.17am GMT here in the UK, nearly half-way through RAW, and my favourite TV show has just lost FOUR (count em) FOUR of it's top talent to the guys in red.

There is still to be a battle royal and presumably a few more matches first, but at this stage I'm quite pissed off to be honest.

Come on WWE, don't make me stop watching Smackdown!

Don't worry....the same thing happened last year with one of the brands. I can't remember who but it looked like they were getting ripped and than they got like 3 or 4 big picks in a row...believe me, it'll all even out.

Smackdown will get Cena and probably Punk along with Christian, as for not watching smackdown if Cena goes to Smackdown and Vicki stays on raw i guess the only show left for me to watch will be ECW and they haven't gotten anybody.

Smackdown is officially not getting mauled anymore. Melina, Punk, Jericho, Kane, and probably Mysterio and Cena before the night is over.

Like I said in another thread, iI thought the point of the draft was to make new fueds. That can't work if everyone from Raw goes to Smackdown and everyone from Smackdown goes to RAW.

That's because women's wrestling hasn't mattered since Lita and Trish Stratus – and I didn't even watch it then.

"Divas" are horrible wrestlers – as are most women in general.

Smackdown looks better now in my opinion. They haven't been given many wrestlers, but the couple they've got can make up some intresting matches. Jericho is the main one, Undertaker & Edge are two feuds right there that should keep everybody happy for a couple of months.

Along with Jeff Hardy vs. Rey Mysterio & Punk. There should be some quality matches coming.

Last year, Smackdown got the better of the draft and it looks that way again this year. I'm basing this on the main-event level. On RAW you have HHH, Batista, Orton, and Cena. HHH and Batista haven't fought in four years, and we've seen Batista/Orton and HHH/Orton countless times. I'm betting they're saving Cena/Batista II for Wrestlemania 26 but they may jump the gun like they did last year.

I believe Smackdown needs one more main-eventer and that could be Cena. Mainly this benefits Jericho as he's never really faced the Undertaker and Edge. Mysterio can always be counted on to fill a spot and possibly Kane. You still have Jeff Hardy on Smackdown but it still needs that mega face and with HHH on RAW, you would assume Cena will move to Smackdown unless Punk cashes in the MITB on Cena and brings the title back.

Its hilarious how markish people make themselves look. To think this was something that was supposed to be fair and balanced is absolutely foolish. Its pretty obvious it was "make RAW way better becuase thats the show we care about" draft. I know this becuase of the move being made to put Vickie Guererro on the show the week before. They have everything now. The great heel GM, all the main event guys, and the most potential filled mid carders (for the most part) and the most intriguing female on the roster.

This was the way it was supposed to go all along, and I would say the WWE accomplished its goals. Maybe a tad too much. RAW could be a giant clusterfuck every week if they arent carefull.


SD will likely pick up a big or upper mid name in the supplemental draft. And when Kurt Angle comes back in the fall, he will be going to SD!. so dont fret.

I think Smackdown looks like the best show right now. Edge is split from Vickie which is a good thing at this point. Chris Jericho now has an entire roster full of fresh new feuds. Plus, there are no major faces on the show. You have two established monster heels, plus Kane waiting in the wings. Pretty much, this gives the chance for Mysterio, Hardy, and Punk to step their game up and prove that they are main event material.

However, with the supplemental draft I fully believe to see either Christian or Cena, or both move over to Smackdown!
