Slammiversary - TNA World Tag Team Championship - Team 3D (c) vs Beer Money, Inc.

This was announced like a week ago, but I guess no one made a thread. Probably because we've seen this match, what, four times now? For a company that really cares about tag team wrestling, they sure are dedicated to providing new and exciting match ups...except, not really.

We've seen a lot of Beer Money in the last year. Since July of last year, they've been involved in the tag championship bout at every PPV. Now, they're very good, and I'm cool with that. But they seem to have stopped caring about providing opponents for them, considering it's been Team 3D the last two times, and now a third. There was a brief interruption with the British Invasion, and that was good. I'm still firmly of the opinion the Invasion should have won the match and gotten the shot here, or else had a double countout or DQ and made this a Three Way Dance. But, here it is again.

The match will be good, but it will be the same thing we've seen. I guess Beer Money as faces should change it slightly, but not enough to really make this that great again.

I think we see the British Invasion interfere here and end the match in a DQ, giving 3D the titles. This will probably set up a series of six mans and eight mans with the big stable of Anti-Americans vs 3D and Beer Money, and probably lead to Invasion vs 3D.

So, all in all, it's an alright match, just that we've seen it enough already. Hopefully this gives way to the Invasion getting a real tag team push and nabbing those titles.

Wow, yeah, looking forward to this. Should be awesome. Or maybe it'll be exactly the same as the previous dozen or so matches.

Isn't Slammiversary supposed to be an important show? I guess the best way to show that it's important is by putting on a match that's been done time and time again.

How about twice? Once at Destination X and again at Lockdown. What's wrong with feuds that extend over a number of months (WWE got like 2 straight years out of the Hardys/Dudleys/Edge and Christian feud)? The Lockdown match was great and I'm looking forward to a long, straight up wrestling match between the four with 3D retaining and going on to feud with The British Invasion for a while.

Not excited about the matchup. When was the last time that Team 3D has even wrestled? I guess TNA wants the best matchups since this is one of their big PPVs, but I don't think a lot of people really want to see this.

Not sure who should win here. There is really no point in team 3D having the titles, yet I think that Storm and Roode may be ready for singles pushes soon. Either way, the winner should enter a feud with the British Invasion which would be somewhat interesting.

All I can do is think about how much better would this be if Lethal Consequences or Motor City Machine Guns were involved in this. Even though TNA claims to make the Tag Division a top priority they are only putting the same teams in there with the belts. I don't see what the problem would have been to let Motor City Machine Guns get at least on reign as champions(To my knowledge they never took the gold, but if I'm wrong let me know I really wish I was). I mean I would love a MCMG/Lethal Consequences fued over the straps.

Hopefully with the experience they have had with each other lately they get really innovative in this match and put on a great show. Hopefully after this we start to see lots of different tag fueds and new contenders for the belts. Hernandez is about 100% again so throw LAX(at least for the time being till their built for singles runs again, get the fans used to seeing them again), British Invasion, MCMG, Lethal Consequences, Hell any two members of MEM like Steiner and Booker T(isn't the main goal for all stables is to take all the championships), and a couple of other pairings so you can make the tag division deep and valuable.

But yeah I'd go with Beer Money and hopefully they move into a program with one of the aforementioned teams.

Is anyone else looking for Beer Money to turn heel and recapture the Tag Team Championships here? I know I am.

Team 3D could've feuded with the British Invasion, and in all honesty I'm still not sure why the British aren't in this match instead of Beer Money. Or even a Triple Threat, which would've been very understandable. I'm assuming that might still be a possibility, as well. We have one more iMPACT! to go, so I can see the British somehow getting involved.. unless they've been completely taken out of the picture, that is.

Regardless, I don't see Team 3D winning this match. They've won all the rest, so for them to win here would be completely pointless. I don't even know what else to say, except I still think a Beer Money - heel swerve - is coming by the end of this match-up. Likely resulting in 3 more months of random Tag matches between these two teams.

I dont know about anyone else, I know that I want Beer Money to win this one, I've jumped on The Beer Money bandwagon a bit late I know but I think it's time for them to recapture the TNA tag belts. Handshake with 3D and all that Jazz.

After that I would love to see them go fued with Steiner and Booker, a poster above pointed out that a stable would try to get as much gold as possible and it'd be great to see Steiner and Booker try to take the belts from Beer Money, it'd get them some Main Event exposure too.

So basically dont really care about the match as such, I do care about the aftermath though.

Impact got me interested with this one again, the mutual respect between beer money and Team 3D was starting to get on my nerves. I like feuds to have nice healthy animosity between the 2 parties involved. Now that the respects gone we can have a good match and hopefully an end to the feud, put the titles on Beer money and start pushing the guns, lethal consequences, the brits and LAX for the titles again

Why is Beer Money in this and not the British Invasion? Nothing against Beer Money they are a great team but dang I am getting sick of them lately. British Invasion VS 3D would be a much better match at this time, and hopefully that will be what we see next after 3D retains here. I don't see Beer Money winning when a perfectly good feud is waiting to happen if 3D retain this time.

This match is what TNA can hang their hat on that they're better than WWE at. Beer Money and 3D put on a great tag team match. British Invasion played their role perfectly at the end I figured that Beer Money would win the titles leading to a feud with the Invasion.
