And stop with all the sports storylines.....Im not getting the next ppv because of that

I agree, been british i dont even know who any of the sports stars are...Baseball and American football dont get media coverage over here or much Tv time. Plus baseball annoys me...just glad they dont feature nascar drivers then i would get annoyed...

I dont know who they are either, but if they generate mainstream publicity for TNA then it's a good thing. I dont mind TNA having one completly useless match on each PPV if it get's them more buy's and introduce's more people to the product.

then you should probably not watch Against All Odds 2005, it features a match with NASCARS Jeff Hammond teaming with BG James faceing Bently and Kazarien, not exactly a great moment in TNA history, I too am also sick of them bring in Baseball playerrs, I hate baseball and watch wrestling to see wrestling not fucking baseball players, don't these guys got enough of the spotlight in their own sport, why do they feel the need to invade the wrestling world aswell?

Norman Smiley was removed from the TNA website's roster page this past week. Smiley will still probably be used every now and then, but on a per appearance basis in an enhancement role.

The wiggle was more over than the Muscle Buster. TNA does'nt know wrestling. That's it ECW here I come.

Thats one PPV i hadnt got round to seeing, i wont avoid it because of that match, but thanks for the warning i shall be scanning past that one. But i do agree with Sexxy jake, i can sit through one crap match per PPV if it gets TNA more coverage.

I'm totally fine with Smiley and A1 being released. They both were useless as far as I'm concerned. Elix Skipper is the one that pisses me off, though. He has loads of talent and is still the guy who took the biggest in-match risk in history for the company just to get the tag team division over. I feel that they should've found something worthwhile for him to be involved in instead of teaming him with David Young to try and make something out of nothing. Elix's athleticism would've fit perfectly with Killings (who at the same time nothing was being done with) and they would've made a great tag team, I believe. Oh, well. I guess you can't win them all. On the bright side, I don't have to ever see the "big wiggle" again.

I've got no problem with A-1, David Young or Norman Smiley getting the boot. They're dead weight in my opinion. Elix Skipper, that pisses me off. He has tremendous skill and should have been kept. Jackie Gayda being released ticks me off too but I'm starting to think maybe it was mutual cause come on. She has a kid now and the dad is working for the other guy. Not the easiest thing to deal with. So maybe it's for the better on that point. Still thought she was hotter than hell though. But after the AMW/Triple X wars, Skipper should have been kept.

Interesting point, but there may always be hidden reasons behind releases.

However, if this is not the case it is a loss for TNA.

I guess the reason they maybe dropped him was because he is alot bigger than most of the x division stars and smaller than the heavyweights. and dare i mention his unfortunate voice, that stops him getting over as a charismatic character.

I thought the x-divisions lame motto is "It's not about weight limits, it's about no limits"

Also, last time I checked Samoa Joe was one of the largest stars in TNA weight wise and he was in the division for the majority of his career...so how is Elix too big.

Well TNA needs to stop using Elix's hunicanrana from the top of the six sides of steel and get someone else to do something crazy like that...oh wait...no one can because they're all of Impact idol.

A-1 fricking sucked. Anytime I saw him, he was either a ringside boy for D'Moore and Team Canada and the times when he actually was in the ring, he sucked beyond belief. Lance Hoyt kicked the crap out of him. He was dead weight and needed to go. The only sad loss out of this was Elix Skipper. A great loss of talent right there.

On a side note, Jackie Gayda has NOT been fired. Just off of the active roster for now. That's cool though because I thought what is TNA doing? Are they WCW all of a sudden? I mean to fire a woman after she had a kid? Come on! Luckily, she's still there so that's not the case.

Joe was involved with the xdivision when AJ and Daniels were still competeing in it, i meant elix was bigger than "typical" x division stars like jay lethal and low ki and he would look overpowering in the ring with someone like sonjay dutt.

The reason there hasnt been a huge spot like the cage hurricarana recently is because now more than ever TNA need to protect there talent, can you imagine if Two of there top line got injured now! there roster would take a huge hit.

Also if people do spot's like that all the time they dont mean anything. People still go on about Skipper's Hurricarana spot over two year's later.

When was the last time you were actually in awe because of a thumb tac spot? I cant remember because it's done that regularly now it mean's nothing.

^I was actually in awe of Sting taking the bump on them because I'd figure with his guaranteed paydays and whatnot that it'd be a miracle to see an old-timer of his ilk take that kind of shot. But I guess you're right, though. I'm not in awe of the spot itself...just that a guy like Sting actually took it and not just a workhorse like Abyss for once.

I agree that when somebody like Sting take's a bump like that it can still be impressive. But I think that's more to do with the fact that Sting has'nt made an effort in the ring since Hogan made him look like a fool. Starrcade 97 If I'm correct.

Me too, i was loving it, i also enjoyed sting table dive at the last PPV as well. he is proper making an effort recently.

Damm straight... anyone remember when WCW introduced "relaxed rules" in a bid to compete with ECW and the Attitude era, and practically every nitro/thunder/ppv match for about 2 months had a table spot in it. It proper ruined the use of tables in matches for a while.

Even to this day I can't believe I paid for that PPV. I was the biggest Sting fan up until that match. I realized that the layoff killed his in-ring athleticism and for the most part, any cohesion he had in a match. Wrestling against Hogan's fossilized ass just made it look even worse. I still see that program as being the downfall of the company. Hogan wouldn't let Sting have the run with the belt they spent a year and half building a feud for, and instead took the belt right back so that he could drop it to...Goldberg?!? No wonder Raw kicked their ass. As for his current work, though? I've been very pleased with Sting's commitment to get back in ring shape and some of the matches he's been involved in have really shown the same luster that made me one of the "Little Stingers" back in 1989.

Skipper has talent but his mic work is annoying..

However I will GREATLY miss "Screamin'" Norman Smiley. He was awesome in WCW hahaha. I remember the football and hockey gear he used to wear. He should of kept that gimmick going. genious...
