Six Man Match At Hell In A Cell/Night of Champions?

all right so basically i wanted to put out the idea of having some sort of 6-pack challenge at either which of these ppv's in which a no.1 contender status is at stake. you'd have 6 higher mid carders/ few wild cards, where the winner becomes no.1 contender for either hell in a cell or Vengence. I'm more leaning towards having it at hell in a cell, because a 6-man hell in a cell seems like something the dubs e has not done (only one i can think of is at that armageddon ppv in which angle won?). this builds the undercard for the 2 week build of a ppv separated from night of champions, and i think it helps get over some of the talent stuck in the mid card, all fighting for a chance for a title. it also would help get over the actual title belts and whoever is actually holding them, at least in some respect it would.
either that or for a midcard title, in which it would get those respective title belts over, and put over the champ at the end of it, big time.
so your thoughts on whether im an idiot, if its a good idea, what stipulation should it present (#1 contender or for a world title or a mid card title), if it would get over the champs/title belts, if it would get over anyone at all? :suspic:

Maybe have it during the December PPV - winner of the match gets to choose where they wanna come in at the rumble - #1 contendership should be left for MITB and the title matches should always be not be competed in that fashion - but a 6 man Elimination Chamber would be good - 3 from raw & 3 from smackdown and the only prerequisite is that you cannot have held a world title/wwe title ever.

Barrett, J-Mo, Kofi, Dolph, Colt Cabana & Sin Cara would be a sweet match - majority are high flyers except Barrett - who should be in the last 2 remaining - and I didnt include D.Bryan only because he has a MITB Case! Nor included Mark Henry because rumor is that he will get a mth or two title reign!

It wont happen at Vengeance bacause its not called Hell in a Cell anymore. If there were to be a HIAC match it would most likely only be for the one match like say the Main Event.

Isnt Elimation chamber only a few months away, what would they do then if they had 6 man HIAC matches now? Overloading one PPV with too many of the same gimmick match type makes it kinda boring and makes the match lose its magic a little bit.

HIAC is meant to be an Epic and Brutal match that shortens careers, wrestlers should be seen to kinda fear the Cell and respect it for the legend it is.

hell in a cell and vengence are both occuring, look it up. elimination chamber is what, 3 months after hell in a cell. you bring up a good point they're similar structure matches, but what are you saying with overloading one ppv with the same match makes it boring? hello thats what they have been doing with their gimmicks for quite a while now. ie money in the bank, that was successful, elimination chamber, twas pretty good, and in past years ive enjoyed unforgiven 2008 as well. exactly what you're saying is kinda my idea of how this would work. you'd have your 6 man hell in a cell/title or not.
then you'd have one more on the card thats a singles hell in a cell. at least this way you remove some of the pressure on creative to make a rivalry worth a hell in a cell closing chapter ie randy orton and sheamus last year. elimination chamber basically works the same way, 6 guys who don't even hate each other, fight for the title, but in this environment, its one fall to a finish, and more spots can occur with the ability to exit the cage.
ill stop now, probs sound like im rambling on

My opinion is this, HIAC as a PPV is boring these matches should be on a basis of quality and not quantity.
I like the EC but i must say i did prefer the MITB as a Wrestlemania opener, it got the night of to a great start every time without fail.

I do like your point of it being one fall to a finish because that makes it much more exciting, I read on here sometime not too long ago that the EC would be a far better match if there was no eliminations until every superstar had entered and i completely agree with that.

i don't think a 6 man hell in a cell will happen ever again. I think it was a one time only thing. but I do see a fatal four way hell in a cell match. but if i do wanna see a hell in a cell match? I would love to see a hell in a cell match at mania. hopes for foley and taker. but that wont happen sadly.

If the Elimination Chamber was around in 2000, they wouldn't have done the 6 man hell in a cell.

That was only a one time thing.

Hell in a Cell was meant to end feuds.

Also I wouldn't want a 6 man hell in a cell. Elimination Chamber is fine.
