Should WWE resign Rhyno

Well it seems Rhyno is a free agent - so heres the question should wwe sign him and where would you put him. Also how about the possibility of signing some of these guys on 6 month deals over a year period which could be split if required.

To answer my question - yes I would sign him, put him on Raw and immediately getting him in a feud with Cena.

Off the top of my head, I got to thinking that IF WWE were to resign Rhyno then I could see Christian turning heel to regain the WHC and using Rhyno as a body guard. Similar to his stint with Tomko & Trish, but this time it would be a reuniting of Christian and Rhyno, cause if you remember they were in WRECK together.

On the other hand, Rhyno is one of those big guys that can move in the ring. Vince loves big guys, and if he's lucky, Rhyno can get some big time pushes in the WWE.

Rhyno? Rhyno!

Your kidding right. The fat guy who does the gore who hasen't be relevant for ten year's, him? I though WWE wasted enough money paying Sandman and Ball's Mahoney. I don't see no reason to bring back Rhyno. He got nothing for him other than, well..... um ...... he's um.... I've got nothing.

He would'nt add anything to the product, just be a wasted paycheck.

I don't think the Youth Movement the WWE is pushing for would really want to pick up hasbeen former ECW, WWE, and TNA talent.

I never got why people enjoyed him, hes got a terrible look, hes not great in the ring, and when he opens his mouth its like a garbage truck is dumping a load.

No thanks!

The WWE won't pick up Rhyno. He was boring, intimidating, and was a jobber for a good chunk of his WWE run. If they do pick him up, I can see him being a trainer or something, but there's no reason to bring him into the main roster. He was an upper-midcarder at best, and he'd get no reaction.

he wud hav 2 come in as a bodyguard 4 sum1. hes not a big name and he has no hope of being in the world title picture. mabye put him with dibiase? chavo guerrero wud be a good choice as well. think, sin cara beats chavo. hes celebratin then turns round and gets gored 2 hell. then chavo and rhino beat him up. cud be a good addition 2 the cara vs chavo fued.

right when i saw the name rhino on this thread, i clicked it, rhino is awsome, hes got a great look, great wrestling ability, and i love his gore!!!!!! on the mic, hes... ok, the best word he has ever said was GORE!!!!!GORE!!!!! AND I WOULD LIKE TO HERE GORE!!!! and i would like to hear him say those words in wwe once again, and also he can come back and say he came back for edge, cuz their freinds, and trained together. and i love the christian idea, they can possibly make a team canada again, or unamericans.

and for the people bashing rhino, i dont know whatr your watching, but rhino does not suck, he was great in the ring, and had great matches, and could play an awsome heel like he has.

and plus rhino is only 35!!! which dosent hurt the youth movement too much, i mean r-truth is 39 and their still pushing him big, rhino would do great for wwe

PAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

But seriously what's your real question?

Rhyno wasn't interesting back when Paul Heyman was booking him. He's just a guy who tackles people and grunts. So I guess his name fits him well.

He shouldn't be near a mainstream wrestling ring for the rest of his life. Fuck him.

Rhyno's been working for Tri-City Wrestling here in Ontario for quite sometime. He'd probably jump to the WWE if given the chance cause it's clearly the big league, not a indy show in Kitchener lol.

I don't think WWE would bring him in at this point. There are plenty of young talent in FCW that could fill that 'bodyguard' role. They're younger, bigger, and potentially better on the mic than him.

Really, it's better for the WWE to not sign him. There's no short term or long term payoff.

I hope not. Why would he want to re-sign with the WWE? So he could be punished like Gail Kim and Christian have been for leaving WWE for TNA in the first place?

And besides, Rhino can cut a good promo, unlike Miz, Orton, Cena, Del Rio, Cody Rhoades, etc etc.

Rhyno? Lulz.

Why Rhyno? Out of every free agent in the world, why would you hire a 40 year old, boring, no charisma, mediocre wrestler who couldn't get over in the couple years he worked for the WWE. Rhyno never impressed me, in anyway. He can't carry a feud, he's too old to invest any amount of time in, and no one cares about him anymore. Why would you bring him back? To put over younger talent? Here's a guy who had trouble getting over with the crowd in his own right. He would just be a waste of space. No, I do not want him back. There are already guys with actual talent having a hard time getting on tv. Rhyno can go away somewhere.

I'm going the opposite of what pretty much everybody has. I think he should come back to WWE as an enhancement talent much like Finlay was doing before he was put into a backstage role. I think he could give these young guys a decent rub. He's clearly a veteran and knows the business so why not. I don't think he should get a title run or anything like that, but to be there to get the guys over that are having a tough time. If that doesn't work then I'm sure he could work out a deal to be a road agent or producer. I could also see him doing what DeMont is doing and training/doing Tough Enough. Wouldn't you rather see Rhyno employed by WWE than Khali?

I might not be remembering correctly, but didn't Rhyno burn his bridges with WWE a few years ago? When he was doing well in TNA, didn't WWE offer him a contract that he refused by bad-mouthing Vince and the whole organization?

At the time, I thought it was a foolish way to handle things. If you want to say no, you can do it without adding things that insure you'll never work there again.

Anyway, what happened to him in TNA? I thought they really liked his work there.

I don't think WWE would be interested. He doesn't really have anything that would appeal to Vince, as we saw during his WWE run in the past. He was alot younger then, in better shape and still got jobbed out like a bitch, which was a shame.

However, personally I would like to see Rhino back on mainstream TV. I always liked the guy and found him entertaining. He had a great finisher, a good gimmick and I liked his style. Can't see him coming back though, and if he did he would just be a jobber again.

He would be a good bodyguard though, who stepped into the ring when he was needed. I think that could work, but I doubt Vince would want to pay him tbh

Lulz. If Rhyno had so much potential, why have both the WWE and TNA let him fade off their rosters almost unoticeably several times? Rhyno does NOT have potential. He's been wrestling for quite a while and hasn't grown in anyway. He is not over nor has he ever been over outside of ECW. The only thing going for Rhyno is his look. He's not good. Oh, and its spelled RHYNO not Rihno.

People who say Rhyno has potential should get real. So he isn't forty? He is close enough to it that's for sure. Like someone else said of all the free agents out there, forum fans want Rhyno. Baffles me to be honest.

Why sign him when you have guys like Brodus Clay, Skip Sheffield, and Chris Masters are basically the same thing as Rhyno (big man/bodyguard type)?

we get only 8-12 mins of quality wrestlers like Kofi and C.M Punk, why would we want rhyno to take up some of their time???

maybe it is just me, but rhyno just doesnt make me want to tune in to see him. he's too fat, no personality and a ecw reject who does a spear. what has he done?? he won the nwa title when t.n.a was giving it to everyone there. he is a mediocre talent at best and i hope he does well in the armorys and indy leagues

I always liked Rhino and wouldnt mind seeing him back in WWE. I think he could add something to the current product & be a great mentor for the younger guys coming up in the company. He still puts on solid matches & isnt too old, at 35 years old he still got a lot of miles left in the tank. Personally, I'd rather see him go back to TNA because he did have a solid run there. The WWE didnt always use him properly....but as long as his talents arent going to waste I dont care which company he works for.

this is the 2nd post about rhyno that i've seen recently... I'm going to copy what i posted in the other rhyno thread..

no... just no... he wasn't anything special at all... yes he could gore someone... but other than that what could he do??? He's not a talker... He's a big guy, but not compared to the mason ryan's batista's of the world, so you can't market him as just a badass will destroy everyone type of person...

he's a mid card guy who could probably challenge for the IC champ or US champ, or be in the tag title scene, but thats about it

I'm then going to throw in the fact that you don't need to sign someone of his age who is NOT a main eventer... I could see the WWE signing a Kurt Angle a Sting or a Mick Foley, as they HAVE been main eventers in the past and will bring interest if they are put that way currently... Someone like Rhyno however should not be brought in as he is NOT a main eventer, and will NOT be a main eventer.... if I was the WWE I'd continue avoiding him

I really think Rhyno would be a good addition to the roster. He could make an instant impact on the US title/IC scene. I wouldnt have him ME probably because I dont think his look suits it. But I would love it, a clash of monsters. Sheamus vs Rhyno

Or Miz could say he is sick of Riley being useless and costing him the title, therefore he has hired someone who will have his back...then all you see is GORE GORE GORE!!!!!!!!!!!! on Cena....One can dream cant he?
