Should Miz/Morrison main event Summerslam 2011?

Miz and Morrison put on one of the best RAW matches I've ever seen earlier this year. Question is: do you guys think they should main event Summerslam, WWE's second biggest event? Imo they should. It has the makings of being a show stealer like Punk/Hardy and both have great chemistry. Make it a ladder match or TLC match for the WWE Title and it could be a MotY in the making.

Do you guys think WWE should take the dare like they did with Punk and Hardy and have these two young dudes main event SS2011?

No. Hardy was the biggest guy in the biz at the time. Miz, while he is arguably top heel on Raw...isn't close to being at the level Hardy was. Furthermore, John Morrison just fought in a match at Wrestlemania in which Snooki picked up the pinfall victory with some kind of somersault.

So...no. I don't think that they are quite ready to main event the second biggest show of the year.

Well in my opinion, I wouldn't mind seeing them hook it up again in the ring since they know each other real well. And with both of them being great superstars both with great charisma and flashy personality. Yeah let them do it up at Summerslam. But not in a Main Event. For I don't feel it's main event worthy. It'll be the top mid-card match. And if u was to make it a ladder match, TLC Match or even 2 out of 3 falls. It'll help both superstars earn their stripes and let Vince and rest of WWE see that the future of WWE is in good hands with the Miz and Morrison. But somebody please take the belt off of Miz. I still can't see him as WWE Champ. ugh. lol.

Right now,no.I can see tons of potential in the match.The Miz vs. Morrison match in January is definitely a MOTY contender.

However,Morrison can't seem to get a crowd reaction unless he's in a gimmick match.There's 4 months between now and Summerslam.If creative can build Morrison up in this 4 months then a Miz vs. Morrison match at Summerslam for the WWE title would be very possible and very exciting.Summerslam seems to be a platform for young guys to step up into the main event e.g. Brock Lesnar in 2002 and Randy Orton in 2004.Who knows,it could be Morrison's time to shine.

The problem is I just don't think Morrison is a big enough face to get buys for a main event vs Miz.

I also don't think Miz is going to have that belt come Summerslam, I in fact don't think he is gonna have it past the next ppv or two.

Miz works vs Cena or Orton because they are fairly over faces. No matter how good Morrison may or may not be in the ring he just isn't over.

The above point should not be forgotten, Miz has been involved with Rock and Cena at Mania, Morrison was on a team that had Snooki go over for him...

Not to mention I expect he is in the dog house after the way he has treated Trish (rumoured)

I'm making a huge prediction as i said in another post about how it will be miz vs rock at summerslam. In a previous wrestlezone news feed, apparently wwe wanted the rock's first match to be against the miz or so. I can see it happening, why? well in the 6 weeks of build to miz vs cena's match at wrestlemania, you didn't get to see the miz and rock have their verbal wars except the raws when miz boycotted raw and assaulted cena after his promo against the rock, and rock having a minute to speak about the miz after his like 10 minute promo against john cena. The next few months in the build up to Summerslam, Miz and rock will get to have the verbal wars that wwe missed out on previous to wm 27. that'll put one great segment of raw of every week for the next few months, how they handle the rest of the show is a different story.

ahhhhhhhhhhh the good old ecw days. I was a huge fan of ecw and the wrestlers that never really got their chances that starred on the brand. Miz and Morrison had the whole ecw smackdown, and ecw raw talent exchanges thing that teased and oooozed the charisma that the 2 have. One thing that wwe missed out on with the tag team was having them feud with cena, something that could've made them over, except for this crap where the internet argues over miz's title reign, and morrisons mid card life.
we could see this match who knows. but for me its rock vs miz.

It should happen at WM28. And they can use this time to build The Miz and Morrison up before this encounter. The Miz should be feuding with Cena, Edge, Mysterio, Triple H, Undertaker, and Daniel Bryan. Morrison should be going up againts CM Punk, Kane, Sheamus, and others.

Give Miz a long term title reign and give Morrison the Royal Rumble win. There you have perfectly setup WM Championship Match.

This may seem like a great feud that could happen going into Summerslam but it isn't what needs to be done now. The only ways I would want this is if Morrison is champion after winning MITB.

I think that this match if and when it does happen belongs at Wrestlemania. They teased a feud on the first Raw of the year, but now that it is no longer possible fore Mania 27 i could see it as a future Mania. I have a few concerns for this match at Summerslam so here they are.

Morrison is not ready. Morrison is a mid card talent. It is the truth, don't try to deny it. He is feuding with Ziggler right now, both of who have barely touched a main event. Miz has just faced John Cena at Mania, which is massive in itself, so there is no reason to have hm face Morrison at the next big PPV. I don't think that the fluidity would be there.

Next, WWE Draft is in two Raw episodes from now. I think we could easily see another face for the Miz to face at Summerslam. It would have to be a bigger superstar who could make it interesting. I could see possibly someone like Mysterio, or Big Show coming over and challenge for the title. Summerslam last year was a PPV that had random matches so I could easily see it once again being something that baffles everyone.

Also, I would want both superstars to get more credibility, especially Morrison. Until that happens I don't see it possible for this match top happen at a Big PPV. However I feel I could see this match at a lesser or new PPV possibly Capitol Punishment.

As much as people think this match would be good I really don't see it happening at Summerslam. If I had my choice I would have it be against Punk.
