Well its been a while since weve seen him in the ring. At the moment he has full time care of his kids whilst writing for TNA but question is should he ever return to a TNA ring again to wrestle?

I think that he should bind his time and wait for his youngest child who I believe is 3 grow up a bit then comeback I'm sure they need him. Would love to see him back personally.

I understand that Jarrett has a lot going on and many personal issues to deal with, but the sooner he can come back to a TNA wrestling ring, the better.

He's the guy who carried TNA for years, the only guy who could ever get heel heat in the ultra smarky Impact Zone. He's a heck of a wrestler, can use the mic, and I can't wait to see him back.

Jeff Jarrett has ALWAYS been underrated by TNA fans, and I've been saying that for a long time.

As a wrestling fan, I would love to see Jarrett back. He is a solid in-ring preformer, he can work the stick, and he draws a great amount of heat. Plus he gave me one of my favorite words to call people. . . SLAPNUTS!!!

But as a father of two myself, I don't expect him back for a long time, if ever. After losing his wife (RIP) he has the full time job of being a daddy and at the end of the day that is a hell of a lot more then a full time job and it is my gradifying then any job in the world. If Jarrett were to retire, it would be for great reasons.

I'm in no rush for him to return to the ring, cause he is handling the most important business in the world right now.

Jarrett The Return To The Septagon Will Not Be Good Thing For The Industrial.

He Enjoys To Beat The Guitar Over The Head Of Challenging Wrestler. This Make It Near Impossible For His Defeat Or Of Young Sizzling Talent To Capture Nwa Belt.

Jeff Jarrett should not return to the ring. He doesn't put over talent and his matches end with the same old screw job or guitar smash. Younger talent would be pushed aside even more so than they are already.

Yeah I dont really thing Jarrett should return. He would just take the spot of someone younger who deserves it, the only way that I would want him to come back is if he puts somebody over maybe a X-Division star like Lethal, Sabin or Shelley or maybe L.A.X. I just dont think Jarett or anybody else would benefit from his return.

Hi everyone, just joined the forum. As for Jarrett returning, personally I'd like to see him remain focussed on raising his children and remaining active behind the scenes. It would be nice to see him make an appearance from time to time, as long as he doesn't come back and jump right into the thick of the main event scene. Maybe they could do a Sting type angle where he comes in for a special program and once it's over he is planning to retire. Then of course someone could provoke him into an extended feud and help rebuild his credibility after being off television for so long. It could work. I still hope he keeps his ficos where it needs to be. TNA doesn't need him nearly as much as his family does at this point. I commend him JJ for being a family man and for his courage in raising his children after the loss of his wife.

I think Jarrett returning would be a good and bad idea. He can draw some major heat and would nice tio see the whole Jarett and Scott Steiner days like in WCW but on the other hand he doesnt put any talent over and the only thing he ever does is screw jobs and guitar smashes!

I'd like to see him retire from the creative team in TNA as well. He's still booking the company like it's WCW during it's final years. Nothing but screwjob finishes, 6 man tags main eventing PPVs, all ridiculous.

I'm kinda split on this one.

Jarrett the booker is, rumored, to be an asshole and just a guy that is not wanted backstage. While a certain "Forum Exclusive" calls him racist:rolleyes: , there evidently is enough of an anti Jarret feeling in the Locker room anyway that should keep him away.

Right now, the company is Angles. Angle is the drawing machine that makes TNA go. I could see Jarrett coming back as a "rescuer of TNA", but I would want them to hold this off for a long while, maybe a year or so. I would love to see a very Sting/Hogan like feud with Angle and Jarrett. Jarrett returns to TNA only to find that nothing is the same. It's brilliant.

Like Sly said earlier, Jarrett is very, very under rated by the IWC and wrestling fans as a whole. The guy gets it, unlike our Wrestlezone Exclusive who thinks he's still in his prime and deserves to be pushed.

Personally I am a huge fan of Jeff Jarrett. Triple H and Jeff Jarrett has numerous things in common. They are both great performers but gets heat for their backstage power and doing whatever they would like to do and sometimes hold others back for their own stardom that blinds some fans from both of their talent, even though my only real issue with Helmsley is his character is piratically old.

It would be awesome to see a Jeff Jarrett vs Kurt Angle feud. It has much potential to be a feud of the year, however Kurt Angle's ego wants to barge in to take over the promotion which I completely disagree with Angle on that.

I hope he never returns. Lets be honest the X-division is what put TNA on the map. Jarret meanwhile has never drawn. He did not draw as WCW champ, he did not draw as TNA champ. He was best used as the mid card champ like in wwe and wcw before his Sid program. He has no concept of what the fans want to see which is why you see more and more TNA originals burried under WWE cast offs. He more then anyone wrestle the same exact match but here is the funny thing he is not over. Someone compared him to HHH and while your rigth that they have the same kind of power the difference is when the average fan who is not a mark see's HHH come out they pop, hell even some marks pop. Nobody pop's for Double J.

He shouldn't return. Not because he doesn't draw, not because he really doesn't have the in ring talent people want to see today, but because he has three children at home. Hey, I 'd watch Impact if he was on but I still rather see someone else. But reality is he has 3 young children and no woman anymore, he has to make sure those children grow right. He still gets money from part owning TNA, sit home and watch the show help the ratings.

Yeah that was me who compared the two a couple posts ago. I was saying the similarities of the both are both Triple H and Jeff Jarrett are VERY talented but with 'inside scoops" disclosing such information on Jarrett and Triple H on their backstage power blinds people from their talent and how good of performers the two are. I wasn't comparing crowd pops or pulling a popularity contest.

I don't hate JJ like a lot of people do. I don't think that he's anywhere near the wrestler or the draw of the top main-eventers of any period that he's wrestled in (Austin, Angle, HHH, UT, Sting, HBK, Rock, you-name-it). So, a lot of the newer, post-attitude fans (who make up a HUGE portion of the viewing audience now) won't get into him.
I think that Jarrett just never got the right break or storyline at the right time/company and that is a big part of why he isn't as big as of a name. However, he hasn't changed much over the past several years and I, for one, can say that I was NEVER interested in TNA when Jarrett was champ. However, I am getting interested in TNA now that Angle is on top.
If Jarrett comes back, he needs to be fresh and he needs to do something to be a legitimate main-eventer with a modern view on the business. He also needs to work to elevate all of the younger, non-former-WWE/WCW guys in TNA so that the show isn't such a re-hash of the past.

I think JJ should come back when TNA need him the most perhaps when Sting is gone is another top drawer is gone. But it will be interesting to see you they put in Cages Coalition now maybe Jarett will reappear there i mean i doubt it but that would be good because JJ can draw some serious heat.

I'll be honest. I was never a fan of Jarrett, except when he had that tag team with Owen Hart and that was mostly because I was and still am a big Owen fan, but by himself I just never got into him. He was an ok IC champ back in WWF, but nothing special. That's the thing with JJ. He has never been anything too great. Sure his wrestling skills are above average, but he could never draw like a Rock or a Hogan, never in anyone's wildest dreams. When he was TNA champ he got heat, but I think that heat was more like X-Pac heat than anything, not genuine heel heat. He got tiresome and he was always champ, maybe because he thought he was the only guy who could hold that title and seem legit, I don't know.

Now the rumours say he is a racist and an asshole, which I have no idea if they are true or not, but if they are that is not the type of guy you want on tv or as your world champion. Again, this is just blind speculation. For all intents and purposes, I wouldn't mind if JJ's in ring days are over.

That's a tough decision to call. With guys inTNA now like Angle, Sting, Booker T, And the reunion of The Outsiders, all JJ would do is simply play a backroll. I don't ever see him competing for any major titles ever again. With him raising his family alone, he could simply just watch on TV and write the storylines. Leaving behind a much travelled road sceduele. In the end I would say no, I don't think he should come back to wrestling.

I'll be straight up and say that I think Konnan speaks in hyperbole when it comes to Jeff Jarrett. He might have a lot of true things to say but regardless of what he thinks of the man behind the scenes, Jarrett would be a draw in the ring. Granted I'm not a HUGE fan of him these days (not even back in WCW) but I think Jarrett still has something left in his tank. Sting is on his way out and I really think he should give the fans a farewell match as the main event on Impact (vs. perhaps Jeff Jarrett since the two have been pretty much at each other from the word go).

I do think that the talent that is on their way out (guys like Sting, Jarrett, and I do expect Nash to depart sometime in the next few years) should start putting over the up and comers to give us someone to cheer for when they are gone.

I don't have a problem with Jarrett in the ring. I would, however, object to him being given creative control over himself. TNA need not become like WCW with Hulk Hogan.

Personally I missed Jarrett the last time round and was dying for his return. I valued his contributions in the ring and despite what others would often say to discredit his status - I was always of the opinion that he was a superstar and true draw in the ring. However, upon his last return I was forced to reconsider. He did nothing to attract my attention, did nothing to make me want to tune in, contributed very little to the overall product (despite playing a major role in the whole Sting/Angle story at the time) and most important - I have not missed him in any way since his latest departure. I could very well go the remainder of my days without seeing Jeff again. This not to diss the man, he is indeed a legend of the game, but maybe thats the thing. I'm sick of all these legends still trying to take grasp of the ball. There is only one man that has been able to successfully transcend the whole "get over it, you're too old to play" status in the wrestling business. And as good as Jeff (and for that matter Sting) are, they are no Ric Flair.

I'm undecided on Jarrett to be honest. Returning back to the ring i think at this point with Booker and Kurt would be a silly idea as although Jarrett is a main eventer they don't really need him. Yeah he can play good heel but so can Kurt. Perhaps if he came back i would like to see him as a big heel with Scott Steiner like the old days of WCW.
As of Jarrett on the booking committee he used to seem to come with alot of good ideas and storys but lately has been lacking big time. I think JJ should maybe oversea the booking and writing but pass the main writing to Vince Russo and some new younger guys.

it wouldn't be a good thing now, because you got all those main eventers, but with Stin leaving, he could replace that spot, or maybe one of the TNA veterans could replace him like Johnny Devine, or Chris Harris

I would definitley like to see jarrett come back. his last short run was amazing and his match with robert roode was vey good and the right person went over. i would like to see him come back and feud wit hanother of the younger up and comers like Kaz. a clean win against jarrett would definitley cement his up and coming main event status.

I can see Jarrett returning as a babyface within the next few months. He is respected by the TNA fans. But they should do it at the right time when they can have a good storyline and feud that they can utilize him. After Angles done feuding with the Outsiders and Joe I can see Jarret getting in the title hunt
