TNA currently dosnt need him with so many main eventers, Jarrett even acknowledged that. When the times right i think Jarrett should come back but not as a main player maybe a tag title reign but never again the top belt. I think hes a great wrestler, i never watched WCW much because when it was on it was around year 2000 when it came on ch5 in the UK and in the height of its crappyness. Jarrett should return if only to give what hes got left, to put over talent, help experience them and to feud with left over main eventers.

He wouldnt want to put himself over at the expense of the company so i guess that means he wouldnt have creative control although possibly deciding what direction to take in a small capacity after all he is the founder of TNA.

I'm kinda split on this one.

Jarrett the booker is, rumored, to be an asshole and just a guy that is not wanted backstage. While a certain "Forum Exclusive" calls him racist:rolleyes: , there evidently is enough of an anti Jarret feeling in the Locker room anyway that should keep him away.

Right now, the company is Angles. Angle is the drawing machine that makes TNA go. I could see Jarrett coming back as a "rescuer of TNA", but I would want them to hold this off for a long while, maybe a year or so. I would love to see a very Sting/Hogan like feud with Angle and Jarrett. Jarrett returns to TNA only to find that nothing is the same. It's brilliant.

Like Sly said earlier, Jarrett is very, very under rated by the IWC and wrestling fans as a whole. The guy gets it, unlike our Wrestlezone Exclusive who thinks he's still in his prime and deserves to be pushed.

Ok how is angle a drawing machine for the company paul?, just curious, i dont understand what angle does that makes the company go over its 1.1 rating, wait wasnt that the rating that the company had when it was an hour 1.1 so if the company only has 1.1 rating then how is angle considered a big draw and tna ppv's are average sellers at best???

Im not taking shots by all means im just curious to see how you came up with that assumption?

Sweet Jesus no. Hmm...let's see... Jeff Jarrett, Vince Russo, the Steiners, Nash & Hall, Booker T... that seems so familiar, but something seems to be missing... AH! David Arquette as champion, that's it! If TNA is going to have any chance long term, Russo and the Steiners need to be shown the door, Jarrett needs to take a pure desk job with no influence on the product, and Nash and Hall should stay the hell out of the ring.

EDIT: Well, it seems at least Hall was listening to me!

i think its really up to double j to decide what he wants to do... i'd love to see him back in the ring but family is the most important thing in the world especially when kids are involved....ill respect him watever he decides to do ...hes a class act one of my all time favs...love ya jarrett

I'd like to see him back and take the title away from Kurt Angle. TNA dosent feel like TNA without him. but dealing with his issues at home should come first

WCW light is what i used to think TNA would become but i still watched it. Its moving away from becoming WCW light tho.

But really TNA management need to rethink all those tag matches for the World Title its a singles belt and tag matches are about team work just make it a fatal 4 way or summit

in response to sirveaux
Honestly i like how Scott Steiner can act like a heel in his promos calling the interviewer names ect but act like a face in the ring like how he respected Abyss and Kaz and Samoa Joe when they won there tag match and dosnt use heel tactics like low blows, honestly the guys sound as hes got some good power skill unlike a lot of guys his size usually they tend to be brwalers but he has a decenet enough moveset.

"Double J" is sound aswell i dont personally know the guy but his wife has died hes looking after a whole company while looking after a family so things must be rough. Honestly i think he treated one of the wrestlezone writers pretty bad i think it was a more personal thing rather than racial beef, i dunno.

TNA dosnt need him with all the main event talent right now, i predict that he will come back by king of the mountain or even 2009 for a year or 2 i think they want to wait and then use him after things settle down so they can insert him when things are quiet to heat things up right ow the other things like Booker T joining and the coalition/alliance feud would saturate the comback of the king of the mountain himself "Double J"!

I think he needs to hang his in-ring career up to focus on raising his family and also focus on the inside corporate booking of TNA (with some help because I believe that he would fail in this area without serious help. Get rid of the 'sophmoric' ideas of Vince Russo and get rid of the 1970's style booking of Dutch Mantell, he was never a great wrestler and worse as a booker).

When Christian and Angle came, I had no problem because I felt that they were both young enough to be stars in TNA while at the same time take TNA to the next level. I had no problem with Sting coming in figuring veteran leadership would rub off their great list of up and comers (Joe, Abyss, Sabin, Shelley, Lethal, and Daniels).

However, when Steiner, Nash, Hall, and Booker came, VKM became a joke that the punchline was never revealed, the focus was off the X-Division to focus on the end-of-career ex WCW-WWE stars and the new women's division, and the hybrid "Memphis-WCW" wrestling style of booking and production, the product has become stale and does remind me of WCW (at least you see the end of a match and not "we're out of time... see you next week" that permeated WCW.

OHH! That "we're out of time" crap used to piss me off so bad! I'm afraid TNA is headed straight back to WCW territory. That feeling will only increase in me if Jarrett makes a full-time ring return. I have just never bought in to Jarrett being a top-tier, main-event kind of guy. He was a perfectly serviceable mid-carder who got an undeserved desperation push in WCW. Don't get me wrong, I thank him for having started TNA, but he needs to remain out of the spotlight from here on out.

I agree with you in that I figured guys like Christian and Angle could take advantage of TNA to really get a chance to shine (esp. Cage), and both parties would be better off for the association. Sting and Booker are OK, since I think they both still have something to contribute, although I think Booker will run out of steam within 18 months, as he has a lot of other projects going. As for the rest of WCW's murderers, the only really dangerous one is Russo. Nash would be an outstanding color commentator, Hall has taken himself out of the picture, and the Steiners...geesh. Scott needs to take the carnival freak show route, and I think Rick has another school board election coming up.

Everyone compares jarret to hhh but jarret built tna and helped it grow when others have failed he put his full time and effort in when everyone said he would fail and deserves a good run when he comes back maybe not as champion but liked it before when he had the fued with robert roode as it was not like everytime hhh returns claim yet another title shot it looked before as if he was gonna do the same as sting and bring on the younger up and coming talent but wouldnt want it like before where it was nothing but jarret in the main events saying that though its getting a bit the same with angle, but in the end i think when you think of tna jeff jarret comes to mind and it dosent feel the same without him (never thought id hear myself say it).

I think Double J shouldnt come back to wrestling quite yet, they just got Booker T, and he has TNA buzzing right now, they dont need to bring back Jeff right now, maybe closer to next years Bound For Glory, i would like to see a Fatal Four Way match for the title next year Christian Cage (champion) vs Kurt Angle vs Booker T vs Jeff Jarrett

Jarret ...under rated!!!! Ha Ha Ha Ha.....who is doing the ratings?????? I know that we live in dog e dog world but Jeff and all of his counterparts had a whole new meaning ....There are quite a few words that come to mind when I see Jeff Jarret..and under rated is not one of them...try...insecure...low rate talent...cut throat...shyster...if Jeff would put as much effort into his wrestling as he does backstabbing and low blowing people..then maybe his gimnicks would be better..(same ole "hot pants") and set up stunts so that he can win unearned championships...all ..check the ratings...its pretty bad when you suck at wrestling and at being a worth while human being...what goes around...does come back....he would do well to remember that!

Wow someone has been reading a lot of Konnan lately. Let me guess, disgruntled X-Division Fan???

Jeff Jarrett is the reason why TNA exist today, plain and simple. TNA Smarks will tell you that the X-Division is what started TNA, it's not. It was always about Jeff Jarrett and his feuds for the world title. The X-Division was there, but the main storylines were always focused around the NWA Title.

Jarret won unearned championships, hmmm. Let's not forget the Jarret was already a five time world champion before he even laced his boots in TNA. He was the only guy credible enough in TNA to put the belt on and legitimize a dead world title. Without Jarret, the NWA Title would still be dead, and TNA would have gone under a long time ago.

Jarret is vastly under rated. He was a mega heel in the Smark Zone known as the Impact Zone. He will put young talent over at this point in his career. Why people rag on this guy, I'll never under stand.

I think Jarrett should do whatever he thinks is best for him. If he wants to return to the ring, then good for him. If he wants to just stay behind the scenes instead, more power to him. I don't really care one way or the other. With Angle, Booker T and other "main eventers" in TNA, I don't Jarrett would feel the need to dominate that title scene like he once did, however I have underestimated his ego in the past, so who knows?

Jarrett's return will be welcomed with open arms by fans and thus his role as a top heel will be very hard to keep. The man's wife died and fans of TNA know this and will not boo him upon his return. Him comming back however to fight off a big heel - whether it be Angle or Cage could set up a nice feud further down the road. I feel that he knows only when the time is right personally and for the company he will come back.
