As the most prominent reviewer around here, I tend to pay more attention to that area more than anyone else.

I've seen a lot of people try to review stuff around here and one of a few things almost always happens.

1. They start hot and fizzle out, normally because they change their mind and get bored/tired of doing reviews.

2. They have nothing interesting to say and only a handful of people read the reviews/respond to them whatsoever, which makes it more sad than anything else.

3. They don't know what they're doing and it's a combination of bad/a basic copy of what others do.

Unless you have something fresh to offer and have the time to do these regularly, there isn't much of a point.

I'm not "super serious". I'm just stating ShinChan is not a good poster and you, for some reason, seem a little offended.

If there was a comic book written about us, you would be the villain "Super Serious" and I would be the hero "BA STAR".

Your allusion to Joe Esposito notwithstanding, it's nice to be appreciated.

All joking aside, I have it on good authority that you're actually a very nice and very considerate person. There's something about this forum though.

I already did. "Plenty of agreement with me in that thread."

Seriously, try and keep up with the thread.

I don't think I'm drunk enough for this exchange.

You and many others over the last nearly 10 years, I'm sure.

Yeah, ten years goes by pretty quickly, huh?

That would be great. If you could pass along the message, I'd appreciate it. I'm sure he's reading it while he's in invisible mode, but you never can tell.

I think you've made it abundantly clear to him. I'm just trying to see where all this seething hatred comes from.

Also, while you're at it, if you could suggest he stop spamming the Ask a Question thread with stupid questions, especially when it's been explained to him multiple times his issues usually stem from using a mobile browser, that would be great.

What's a stupid question again?

You should give Muslims bacon for the first time & report their reactions. Much thinner pool than wrestling reviews. Got to stand out from the crowd.

What did you expect from a dumpster match between two guys who are at other ends of the spectrum? Remember the purpose of the match was to set up the post match attack. It did that. The result gave Braun a catalyst to be more of a monster and give the blood thirsty fan the payoff.

Monsters, especially monster heels are supposed to lack intellect. Kallisto exposed this by using his speed to capitalize on Braun's hubris. This does not diminish Braun, it just establishes what we already know, he is more brawn (pun intended) than brain.

In a fight, not a gimmick match. It's not as big of a difference as chess and sword fighting but there are differences.

I agree that it was not necessary but I was a little shocked and excited. That is a good thing.

But you know that he can beat Kallisto. That's all that matters. He lost one time in a silly gimmick match by falling in the wrong spot. Not exactly getting pinned or submitting. This means nothing.

If you want to be a reviewer I recommend you back up your positions better and provide more perspective. You're Kapu, the eternal optimist, not Mark Madden. You're going to need to find an identity and be more than just paint by numbers reviewer if you want to be successful at this.
I don't want to be just a reviewer. I mean, I'm in need of money but I ain't going to make it my my profession. Just a hobby. That too at WrestleZone. Just a perspective at matches, feuds etc. I'm someone who didn't know that kayfabe ain't equal to reality just a mere 2 years ago. Klunderbunker might remember that I asked him some "stupid" questions when i joined WrestleZone about Kayfabe. Like "What if there's no kayfabe or something". For someone who doesn't know English well, I can't review like someone like KB.

About the above match, Our opinions vary. And I don't have any problems with you disagreeing about it. That's all I can say.

And enviousdominous, buddy I have no problem in Slyfox considering me stupid. And as for the stupid questions in Ask Thread, I would avoid asking any questions again.

Well shoot. Artists like Kurt Cobain, H. P. Lovecraft and Stephen King absolutely hated some of their best known creations. And in spite of what Sly will have you believe, we all ask stupid questions every now and then.

If my advice is worth anything, I'd say that you should do something for the sake of leisure strictly at your leisure. Have fun with it and eventually people will at least appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts.

If you predict that it'll eventually become a chore and thus a source of stress, don't torture yourself.

Well it's indeed for fun. And I'll do it. And yes your advice is worth a lot.

But you have to improve my vocabulary. I promise that I'll give your name in the credits part. ;)

Oh, I'm a very nice and considerate person, even on the forum.

But I don't care much for stupidity. That's true on here just as it is in real life.

I don't think I'm drunk enough for this exchange.
Yes, alcohol always tends to make conversation more clear...

Yeah, ten years goes by pretty quickly, huh?
More so every day, it seems.

I think you've made it abundantly clear to him. I'm just trying to see where all this seething hatred comes from.
I think this is your problem. You seem to be under the impression that I hate him. I garner that from where you accusing me of having seething hatred.

I don't hate Kapu. I just think he contributes stupid to the Internet and the Internet is already full of enough stupid. FEWER people need to contribute stupid, not more. It's the curse of the social media age, where everyone thinks their opinion, no matter how ill-informed or illogical, is just as valid as any other.

Kapu is not a good poster. Kapu/ShinChan asks stupid questions. ShinChan, as he currently rates, will not make a good wrestling reviewer (which isn't exactly a high bar in the first place). I wouldn't make a good wrestling reviewer either (though for entirely different reasons, as I hated being committed to long term projects...I'm sure KB could write a three page essay on the subject) but since I know that, I don't do it.

Why would I hold anyone else to different standards?

What's a stupid question again?
Here's an example:
A question related to both main page and forums.

When I first joined, there used to be a portion for WrestleZone Forums at the end of each page of main page. Where latest 10 thread titles were also mentioned. A "more" option led to WrestleZone Forums and that's how I got here.

Currently, there's no such portion at main page. When and why did it stop?

You mean this?

wzfrontpage_zpssln1ytmg.jpg
And enviousdominous, buddy I have no problem in Slyfox considering me stupid.
That's unfortunate, as it suggests a lack of desire to be better.

And as for the stupid questions in Ask Thread, I would avoid asking any questions again.
You can ask questions, just don't ask dumb questions. It's really not hard.
And in spite of what Sly will have you believe, we all ask stupid questions every now and then.
Not repeatedly. See the difference?

I think this is your problem. You seem to be under the impression that I hate him. I garner that from where you accusing me of having seething hatred.

Agree to disagree on how we perceive your seething hatred I suppose.

I don't hate Kapu. I just think he contributes stupid to the Internet and the Internet is already full of enough stupid. FEWER people need to contribute stupid, not more. I agree that stupid people on the internet have become an epidemic, but I think that you're taking your opinion of ShinChan to that extreme because you know that he's an easy target. For what it's worth; I think you're both very intelligent young men, so that's where I'll base my opinions.

Alright, well, for the record; I think you would make a good wrestling reviewer and I'd read your reviews. If you don't want to, I respect that too.

Maybe if ShinChan promises not to ask any questions in the process of reviewing prowrestling media, he'll at least earn a smidgeon of your blessing.

You can ask questions, just don't ask dumb questions. It's really not hard.

Well, you only gave me one example. And if someone is new to the wonders of using the WrestleZone interface, they might not immediately realize that it hides the forum updates if you have the screen halved.

Agree to disagree on how we perceive your seething hatred I suppose.
Since we're talking about how I view ShinChan, it's not exactly something we can agree to disagree on. Your opinion on how I feel is not valid. You're just wrong.

I agree that stupid people on the internet have become an epidemic
So why would we encourage another to exacerbate the problem?
but I think that you're taking your opinion of ShinChan to that extreme because you know that he's an easy target.
I didn't take anything to the extreme. He asked if he should and I said no because the Internet is already full of stupid.

I didn't target him, he created the thread.

For what it's worth; I think you're both very intelligent young men, so that's where I'll base my opinions.
And again you're wrong, because, unfortunately, I no longer really consider myself "young". :)

Alright, well, for the record; I think you would make a good wrestling reviewer and I'd read your reviews. If you don't want to, I respect that too.
My reviews would be excellent. But I'd be a bad reviewer because I wouldn't be able to commit to it. I know that about me.

So I would be a bad reviewer, even if my reviews would be excellent.

Maybe if ShinChan promises not to ask any questions in the process of reviewing prowrestling media, he'll at least earn a smidgeon of your blessing.
If he desired a smidgen of respect from me, he would A) try to become a better poster and, until then, B) Not clog the Internet tubes with poor reviews.

Well, you only gave me one example.
Peruse that thread. You can find others.

Kapu maybe instead of just reviewing matches why don't you write about something else and do it with a twist.

For example. When I read a news story about Roman Reigns on any dirt sheet, the most positive views and comments usually come from Indian fans. So where he is boo'd out of the arena's here in North America, he is treated like a God over there. So instead of reviewing his matches, tell us about the disconnect between how N. American fans see certain wrestlers and fans from across the pond. Is it because the WWE only comes to India once a year or because wrestling is just viewed differently around the world?

Always found it fascinating that two cultures can see the same person in such a different light. By the way I'd be a crap reviewer also, so don't even try.

I can try to answer that here.

Most importantly in India, Kayfabe is shockingly strong. Ultra strong. Heck not even two years ago, Kayfabe was well alive for me. And I myself have couple of friends who think about Roman Reigns as the best wrestler ever. He's a god to them. Here it ain't much about feuds, match quality etc. You'll find Cena and Reigns' fans a lot here.

I even read some fans asking WWE to fire Braun Strowman after that brutal beat down of Roman Reigns. It's legitimate for them. It's less about WWE visiting India rarely and more about the ultra strong kayfabe.

And explain how it's a stupid question?
...you have to be joking.

You asked why something wasn't on the main page that clearly was on the main page. That is stupid.

And also tell me about where did I imply that I have lack of desire to be better?
You literally quoted me quoting where you implied that.

See enviousdominous? This is what I'm talking about. The Internet has enough stupid, it doesn't need more.

Again the question wasn't dumb.
Asking why something is missing when it is clearly not missing is dumb.

...you have to be joking.
Nopes.
You asked why something wasn't on the main page that clearly was on the main page. That is stupid.
Again nopes. Just because you get it on the main page doesn't mean that I get it as well. I "USED" to get it but now I don't and that's why I asked.

You literally quoted me quoting where you implied that.
I said that I've no problem in Slyfox considering me stupid. How does it imply that I've lack of desire to improve?

See enviousdominous? This is what I'm talking about. The Internet has enough stupid, it doesn't need more.
Yeah, just that it was legitimate and you found it stupid. Still doesn't make it stupid.

Asking why something is missing when it is clearly not missing is dumb.
Again it's missing for me, not for you. So it might be dumb to you but legitimate to me.

I'm not here to run down anyone or tell anyone to do anything else. In fact I don't care if this is read by anyone but Kapu. No such thing as a stupid question. If you don't know something then you don't know it. I could say 1 billion things you wouldn't know about Kapu just like you could say 1000000 things I wouldn't know about, so which one of us is stupid? Both of us for not knowing something or neither of us because we haven't been told or taught something? I'd go the latter otherwise everyone in the world is stupid.

If you are an educator like I have read to believe sly then I can only imagine the amount of face palms you must feel like doing every class, because I would be in the same boat. Probably not as much face palming as you because you would know a considerable amount more than i, so I do understand the tolerance (maybe not tolerance just honesty?), but we should really be thankful that Kapu can even speak the most stupidest language in the world and make sense of it.

Again nopes. Just because you get it on the main page doesn't mean that I get it as well. I "USED" to get it but now I don't and that's why I asked.
If you don't get it, then it's because of something YOU changed (a setting, device, browser, etc.). At which point asking a question about it is still dumb, since it is still on the site.

This isn't hard to understand.

I said that I've no problem in Slyfox considering me stupid. How does it imply that I've lack of desire to improve?
Because you should have a problem with people thinking you're a terrible poster. If you don't have a problem with it, your desire to improve is greatly diminished. You should feel challenged to improve, but rather than feel challenged to improve, you seem to be okay wallowing in your mediocrity.

Yeah, just that it was legitimate
It wasn't legitimate, for reasons I've mentioned.

Still doesn't make it stupid.
Yes it does.
The internet has enough annoying pricks, but somehow I tolerate your company.
Because I'm only intolerant of stupidity. To those who don't post stupid things, I'm quite pleasant.

I'm not here to run down anyone or tell anyone to do anything else. In fact I don't care if this is read by anyone but Kapu. No such thing as a stupid question.
Well, that's just false.

Of course there are stupid questions. If I just tell you I have $100 in my pocket and you ask me 2 minutes later how much money I have in my pocket, despite me not having spent any, that's a stupid question. If I tell you how to hammer a nail and then you ask me how to hammer a nail, that's a stupid question. And if you ask me why something's missing from the main page, when A) the opening post clearly states we have nothing to do with the main page and B) the thing about which you're asking is still on the main page, then that's a stupid question.

You seem to be confusing stupid with ignorant. They are completely different concepts.

If you are an educator like I have read to believe sly then I can only imagine the amount of face palms you must feel like doing every class
Again, there's a difference between stupid and ignorant.

but we should really be thankful that Kapu can even speak the most stupidest language in the world and make sense of it.
...why should we be thankful for that?

If you don't get it, then it's because of something YOU changed (a setting, device, browser, etc.).
And I didn't change anything. Heck I even tried various other browsers just to see if there's any problem regarding my browser. But it ain't visible through any browser for me.

At which point asking a question about it is still dumb, since it is still on the site.
Again. It wasn't dumb by any way. If I'm not getting it, how would I know that it exists or not? That's why I asked the question and got to know that it existed but ain't visible to me. And How's it dumb again?

This isn't hard to understand.
Exactly.

Because you should have a problem with people thinking you're a terrible poster.
Again if some people think that I'm a terrible poster, does it make me terrible?

If you don't have a problem with it, your desire to improve is greatly diminished.
I'll have a problem when those people are totally impartial.

You should feel challenged to improve, but rather than feel challenged to improve, you seem to be okay wallowing in your mediocrity.
Oh Yeah, I'm mediocre. But what you don't know is that I've improved. I know that I have. A lot since joining here. I was worse when I joined. I'm a slow learner and will keep improving day by day. But you seem to take it as "wallowing in my mediocrity". Continue seeing it as you wish and I'll continue improving.

It wasn't legitimate, for reasons I've mentioned.
Not legitimate for you but me. Because I was the one who was facing the issue. Just like the rep issue where you again were wrong.

Yes it does.
Maybe for you but not for me.
