Should Chris Benoit be inducted into this years Hall of Fame?

Chris Benoit is widely regarded by many as one of the BEST technical wrestlers all time. Put him in the ring with anyone and he will give you a great match. Benoit forced the opponent to be on his game and work a new ultra aggressive style. Benoit has performed in ECW 1995 all the way to WWE in 2007 and always at a high level. Benoit did what was asked of him and was widely respected within the wrestling community. Benoit has one all kinds of titles throughout his career and therefore has the accomplishments which make him Hall of Fame worthy. I could be here all day listing his achievement’s how good he was in the wrestling business.

Chris Benoit had a 15 year career of taking beatings, landing on his head and pumping drugs into his system before he ever set foot in a WWE ring. He was working a stiffer style with stiffer opponents in Japan and taking more risks in ECW than he ever did in WWE. However most of his problems began to show under McMahon’s leaderships such as dementia among many other things. Vince avoids liability as his wrestlers aren’t under independent contractors. Benoit was forced to work though injuries such as a a serious neck injury and various concussions at the threat of losing his much loved job or being depushed from a position in which he had put his body on the line for and worked years to achieve. After Vince escaped from those steroids distribution charges drug testing until 2007 was VERY weak and it is seen that Vince never took the care that he should for his wrestlers. Benoit and many others were pressured to look like roided up freaks as otherwise their look wouldn’t engage the wwe/wwf fanbase. So many wrestlers have died under Linda and Vince’s watch and it boggles the mind how Benoit was not helped beforehand as he had the mind of an ancient Alzheimer’s patient. Before this horrific tragedy where Chris murdered his family Benoit was seen as a sure fire Hall of famer. By inducted Benoit the Company are recognizing one of the all-time greats and claiming responsibility in bad business and labor policy behavior. I do truly believe that Chris Benoit the WRESTLER and not the man should be inducted into the hof this year in Atlanta for the above reasons.

Benoit into HOF? Please.
This man is one of the greatest there has ever been. Like you say, he made you fight on his level, not your own, because of his charisma and energy, as well as extreme technical skill. He ALWAYS put his own body on the line, which is what most wrestlers do, but he done it more than anyone. He fought and fought, continuously, no matter what.
Then he turned, and the murdering took place. Benoit killed his own family, as well as himself. He wasn't right in the head, which is a given here, which lead him to this.
People, when Benoit's name is mentioned, think more about him as "The man who killed his family" and not "The greatest technical wrestler of times". Which is what people should remember him as, that's for sure.
So, I'd love to see him in the Hall of Fame any year, maybe this one, maybe not. When he is inducted, if ever, it'll be a true remembrance of a truly great Wrestler. Whether the WWE will or not, 'cos of the killings, is totally up to them. I hope they put him in though, I really do.

I don't know this one is a subject I've been back and forth on alot because sometimes parts of me even find it hard to believe he did it but that doesn't matter what so ever kinda I guess I mean its whats keeping him out the HOF for now and years to come but one day I think they will do it and rightfully show he was one of the best in the ring he would put his body on the line for the fans and was one of my favorites within the last four or five years of his life. He was great in WCW also and I think he deserved alot more then he was given and got there. All that is truly keeping this man out is the tragic things that happened in 07 besides that he'd sure as hell be in one day.
