Should Cesaro/Tyson Kidd embrace the tag team division?

Cesaro's momentum has been killed so badly by being forced to job that I can no longer take him seriously as a solo performer. He's pretty much the more threatening Heath Slater. Even Kane seems more dangerous right now. Tyson Kidd...has been booked very oddly. Sometimes he's just an accessory for his wife, other times it seems like he's getting a push, but generally...he's just there. WWE doesn't seem to know what to do with him, which is a shame because he is really talented.

When both emerged as Tag Team competitors in a failed bid to be the #1 contender, I was amused. But oddly, I thought they worked incredibly well together. Their part in the match was the highlight. While it's a step back for poor Cesaro from where he was at earlier in the year, I believe this might be the only way for Cesaro to really have a comeback. It also gives Kidd something more to do other than posture in front of his wife- God, will they kill that awful angle?

So I'm hopeful as long as the team doesn't continue to be the jobbers. Yet I kind of wonder if the tag team division has suddenly become too full. With the Ascension arriving, I don't see how Cesaro and Kidd can be anything but jobbers for whomever is fed to the Ascension. In a way, they'd likely become the next Ryback/Axel. But Ryback has had a comeback, so...what do you think? For this team? Against it? Who should they feud with? Or should it just be a temporary thing while the Tag Team division tries to get back on its feet?

Well, it's better than not seeing either of them at all and if it helps the struggling division, then I'm all for it. That being said, I really don't know myself what they could do for them as singles competitors, and lately they've just been used as enhancement talent down in NXT. I guess we'll have to wait and see what they do with them from here on out.

I don't know why they've been placed together. Cesaro needs a manager by his side again, not some tag-team.

Tyson Kidd, is he ever going to be pushed. I don't think so, he'd be better in a tag-team with someone like Justin Gabriel.

Firstly, I want to say they need individual pushes.

Rusev has been dominating the mid-card divison and is proably the hottest heel apart from Bray Wyatt... I know you'll disagree with me but I think Rusev should fight Rocky at Wrestlemania. Let him beat The Rock and let him become the biggest force of nature still never pinned or submitted. So how does this involve Cesaro? Let him change the US title after beating Rocky to the European title and have Cesaro challange him. So Cesaro ends up beating Rusev, ending his streak becomes Face and can get a further push from then on.

Kidd, should be dominating the IC title... let him beat Ziggler and dominate the division. You could say but what about Dolph Ziggler then? I think he needs to challange for the major title and let him do that by winning Money in the bank and win the title later on by cashing in???

In-ring wise the team would be amazing as both men are really, really good wrestlers. and it would be better than not seeing them at all outside of Natayla matches or when Cesaro's jobbing to someone else.

There is the sense that at least Cesaro should be in a better place than he is now, but well post WM 2014 speaks for itself. If I really wanted to put Cesaro back in the tag division I would pair him back up with Swagger, they were a amazing tag team that would instantly boost the current tag division, Zeb can be Cesaro's Heyman and if they were getting great reactions as heels I can only imagine how easy it would be to rebuild Cesaro in a face version of the team. Of course I really hope Cesaro can climb the ladder in singles, but they've wasted almost a year sinking him like a rock instead of building him up so who knows when that's going to happen.

Kidd I don't see going anywhere so being paired up with Cesaro might be really good for him considering what they're doing to him now. Like Cesaro I would hope for better things for him but he has even less of a chance than Cesaro does so not expecting much of anything

I wouldn't mind pairing Cesaro and Swagger again bringing back the Real Americans. Basically hit the reset button and just see where it goes.

It really wouldnt take that much to put Cesaro back in the IC/US title picture. They have no problem bringing Swagger out of Heath Slater territory to do a program with someone. I hope this team doesnt last, it is just a waste to treat Cesaro and Kidd like this.

If anyone in WWE needs a kayfabe injury now, its Cesaro. He's going nowhere, and putting him in a tag team with a guy like Kidd proves it. The kick to the head during the Cesaro Swing was a really cool move, but other than that, they are gonna suck as a team. I'd like to see a re-tooled Cesaro make a return after a short hiatus. Maybe it would do for him what its doing for Ryback.

No matter how good they are,if grandpa doesn't want to push them ,they will continue to be mid card losers.
CESARO is talented and until August he was part of the top guys. Then something changed and we all witnessed the biggest momentum break down. He was rumored to wrestle Lesnar and then he was losing from Adam Rose.
TYSON KIDD. I don't know much about him. I'm watching WWE for 2 years and the only thing I have heard is that he is talented but WWE has destroyed him. I don't see him reach the top ever...not even the mid card top.
Nevertheless,they have a potential as a
team but I agree that they will only be jobbers only to complete the tag team division as Rybaxel did.

I don't think they have great mic chemistry. Their gimmick is to be two overlooked Superstars though, which makes sense. They are both awesome in the ring. However, I see this as derailing Tyson Kidd who had his own things going and his wife with him, he integrated real life into his character going as far as to airbrush his cats on his shin guards. At the same time, he gets no rub from Cesaro because Cesaro has been going downhill. This also hurts Cesaro because he is going from singles, to tagging with a guy who recently came back from a retooling in NXT. I don't see it lasting, but maybe they will build a good chemistry with one another.

Cesaro should be in Ryback's spot, at the very least, but sadly he had his wings clipped because Vince thinks that the guy who was connecting with fans and speaks five languages including perfect English can't connect with the fans because of the "language barrier."

He and Kidd can embrace the tag division if they want, but all that means is they'll get to lose to the Usos and New Day once or twice a week. They're a good team and both of them are great in the ring, but booking is not their friend right now.

I don't know if Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are officially a tag-team. If they are: Former "Paul Heyman guy" gets sent into a going-nowhere tag team and constantly loses singles matches. HMMM, does that sound familiar? #FreeCesaro #SwissSuperman4Life

Honestly , I think both guys are really talented ... I watch Kidd all the time in NXT and I always think like " why isn't this guy on raw feuding over the intercontinental title ? " The Triple threat match with Ziggler and Cesaro and speaks for itself ... He deserves to be doing so much more for his career , he's got the talent , and his mic skills have gotten better if you keep up with NXT , imo ...

I'm a big fan of both, and while I would prefer singles pushes, anything that might get them used is a good thing to me. I hope it leads them to actually be in title contention and not just on the b and c shows. Heck, I'd be ok with them going to NXT and facing Lucha Dragons.

They could be the Kings of Sports Entertainment. :P

It's sad how far Cesaro has fallen. I thought he'd be in the same conversation as Reigns, Rollins, Wyatt and Ambrose as the future of the company.

The Cesaro/Kidd pairing is definitely unique. I just hate this will hurt Cesaro more than help him especially since Natayla is on Total Divas. Seeing how Naomi is being involved with the Miz and Mizdow and Usos storyline. I'd hate to see this turn out to be the tag team splits because Kidd gets jealous of Cesaro getting attention from Natayla and turns out to be some awful soap opera storyline between the two.

I think they will become the new rybaxel. With the ascension coming I don't see them doing much with the kidd/cesaro pairing. With the new day flop the tag division is still weak as expected. Bubba "Bully" Ray has stated he wants to come back but dont know what ever came of that. Would love to see team 3D back in WWE to rub some of these younger teams (Usos, the ascension, lucha dragons, vaudvillians) as they come up. Other than quality matches I dont see much coming from kidd/cesaro sadly.
