Sharing Talent ?

I don't post very often anymore, but I'm curious what people think about the recent talent share between WWE and TNA ?

I realize it was just a one time thing... TNA allowing Ric Flair to attend the 2012 Hall of Fame induction and WrestleMania the following night and Christian making an appearance at Slammiversary... but should they do it more often ?

Let's be honest, TNA will never be on a level playing field with the WWE. They simply don't have the resources, the exposure, the talent, the creative team, etc..., so there really isn't a reason for Vince and the WWE to be concerned with TNA taking over as the "mothership" in the wrestling, scratch that, entertainment field.

I just think it's good for the wrestling product as a whole for the two brands to cross promote. I'm not sure how I would feel if wrestling was actually involved, by that, I mean actual matches. But having guys like Hulk Hogan and Kurt Angle completely out of the WWE just doesn't seem right.

The biggest dilemma I have with an actual cross promotion flourishing is how could the WWE contribute to TNA ? There isn't exactly a long list of current WWE talent with ties to TNA, and since I'm not a huge proponent of matches taking place between the brands, what good would the WWE be to TNA, besides the obvious star power ?

Maybe I'm crazy because I know it's never going to happen, but what if ?

I thought Christian showing up on a TNA PPV was pretty cool, but with TNA now suing the WWE, I doubt there will be much collaboration between the two companies in the near future at least.

Other than star power I just don't see how TNA could use it to their advantage. i couldn't see actually matches happening because Vince would not want his stars going and losing matches to TNA talent. If we are talking in a what if scenerio something cool that I think could be done is to have some of the top tier talents compete on each other shows against each other in best of 7 series "dream" matches. How cool would it be to see Daniel Bryan vs Kurt Angle in a best of 7 series alternating on Raw, Smackdown and on Impact wrestling. That way each superstar would get some wins and losses and everyone could still come out looking good. I think a situation like that could be beneficial to both companies and no one would come out looking bad in the end. As it stands right now though it is cool to see the two companies kind of working together. It will be interesting to see if this lawsuit will affect this relationship though.
