Seriously does anybody see this guy as the next HBK?

Moon Knight

Original Prince of Darkness
I am all about new a young talent, giving young people a push that deserve it so they can carry the WWE for the next 10 years. One of the wrestlers I would have liked to see someone equal is HBK, but out of all the wrestlers that could be on his level does anybody really think Lance Cade could do it? Seems some do. Seriously, being trained by HBK doesn't make you the next HBK.

I don't care where you put it, but there is a "Live Discussion and Spam" wrestling forum.

I think Lance Cade has some potential, but HBK? Not even close.

No, Kennedy sucks. Lance Cade has impressed me with his in-ring ability over the past few years. His mic skills are horrible, but his in-ring skills are fairly sound.

How does Kennedy suck? He gives some of the best promos in the WWE. His matches are not good, but he gives good promos. And name one good Cade match? Cade has not impressed me with anything, so if you could point me in the direction of a good Cade match.

Kennedy's promos are boring and redundant, not to mention Kennedy can't go more than 5 words without having to pause to think of what he's supposed to say next. And, Kennedy's matches are terrible to watch. Their boring, and he misses spots constantly.

Lance Cade has been working tag matches or dark matches his whole life. So, I can't point you to a "good Cade match". But, just watch him in the ring. He normally knows where he's at in the ring, and knows what he's suppose to do next. His in-ring heel psychology is sound, as is his technique.

I never said Cade was great. I said he was sound, with potential.

The next HBK is John Morrison....once he gets better on the mic and gains a bigger fan base.

As far as Cade goes, he's got some talent in him, but he's boring as hell when he's doing nothing but teaming with Murdoch, who is holding him back. Cade could be someone feuding for the IC title, but he's no HBK. His first step towards bettering himself, though, is to get as far away from Murdoch as possible.

Cade, no. Kennedy, maybe...if given more time. I'd like to say Nitro, but I'm not 100% on him either. Either way, nobody will ever be what HBK was and still is, but someone will come close.

My picks:
Kennedy
Nitro
Kendrick ( give him time)
London ( give him time)
Matt Sydal

Kendrick and London are entertaining, but they have no real personality yet. They need to get on the mic more to develop that, and then we'll see what they can really do.

Kennedy, love the guy, think he's the future of the company and so forth, but I don't see the parallels between himself and HBK. I see him being the next Austin more than anything else.

The way I look at it:

HBK / Morrison
Austin / Kennedy
Rock / MVP

No way could Lance Cade be cosidered the next big thing. He has no mic skills and his wrestling ability isn't good enough to make up for that.
There's only one guy who could come close to being the next HBK, and that is EDGE...
He has the charisma, in ring skill, mic skills, and experience of running with the belts.

Rewind to when DX were having their first run and tell me you can't picture Edge as one of the team... He has the sarcastic, cocky swagger that you love to hate but also makes you secretly admire him. Despite WWE's attempts to keep him heel, he still gets pops from sections of the crowd!

Edge isn't far off being the top man in WWE whether he's recognised for it by the management or not. Lance Cade couldn't polish Edge's boots!

Nobody will ever be the next HBK, there is only gonna be one HBK, for anyone to think anyone is going to be HBK is just ridiculous

and BTW Kennedy has far more potential than Cade, Cade has yet to accomplish anything remotely close to note worthy in his career so far, and Morrison is just plain overrated

Ahh, but remember, this is the WWE, and politics do come into play. With HBK and HHH retiring and HHH at least having some creative power, there is no way in hell they don't push HBK's boy Cade. He doesn't get pushed now because he "could" be a threat to them. Cade has the look, but again, hasn't been used properly to get a proper opinion on him at this time.

But Like Justin said, there will be no new HBK. HBK is god, and amazing. How many next HBK's are/were there? Stevie Richards, Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, John Morrison, Cade....

Training anybody to be the next HBK is a stretch and asking too much of basically any superstar, let alone Lance Cade. I mean look at him, over the past year he has done basically nothing, people have talked about him getting a big push and/or having big potential for a whiile now. I remember seeing him live at Raw, when he was a heat guy 5 years ago, he hasn't really come that far since then. He is a slightly better wrestler, but seriously, the next HBK, he has never shown that potential, and anybody saying he could ever be that good, or even him being trained to be the next HBK is absolutely rediculous.

i've been saying Jeff Hardy was the next HBK. He could be proving me wrong.
