Scott Hall in ECW!

How would you have dealt with Hall in ECW had it not folded in 2001. This occurs the Week after Steve Corino won the World Heavyweight Championship. How would you have used Scott Hal when he was officially allowed on TV. Same with Mr. Perfect who was going to be going to ECW. Would you play out the same storylines that occurred leading up to ECWs demise. This is with the hypothetical cash injection that ECW needed right at the end to keep it going until there was another TV deal and it wasn't just appearing on PPV.

How would you have used Scott Hall. Put him straight in a Main Event feud with Rhino, or build him up through the upper mid-card of Tommy Dreamer and Sandman first then put him in the main event after Rhino's feud with Jerry Lynn over the title was over.

remember this is purely in a hypothetical situation. and this is not a Spam thread.

Holy Hell. I actually remember this. I'll give a go at this.

I would have started him at the top as a heel. I wouldn't put the title on him right away. but I would have started him out in a big time fued with Sandman or Dreamer. Make each fued about three months long. Then you would have him team with Rhino. Have there be some tension between them. Sorta like the Michaels/Cena deal from 2007. Then after a few months of that Rhino wins the title and turns on Hall.

Then after that you turn him into a face and have him go after Rhino with the ECW title on the line. Rhino and Hall would fued for a good 3-4 months with Hall losing the first couple of matches. Then finally at the end it would culminate to him winning the ECW title. Then if Mr.Perfect made his way to ECW like was speculated have them fued for a while.

Basically I would give Hall one good long run as ECW champ and then afterwards have him elevate younger talent all the while staying a main eventer.

hall in ecw would be great I would have him join the network with rhino and the new impact players (corino and credible).Then feud with tommy dreamer turn on the network feud with corino for the no.1 contender spot the have a big money match with rhino for the title.And then at the next ppv have a match with r v d

If im correct, at this time ECW was going strait downhill I mean they didnt have anyone who can bring them anywhere. I'm looking at the final roster right now and I mean it doesnt seem to good. So to work things out, I think they would need to make a feud between Hall and Dreamer for a little while. Make Hall pretty much win that feud to get him over as an ECW main eventer. Then I would bring him over to feud with Kid Kash (hey I know it's a gamble, but remember Kidman and Hogan?) I would do this because they could have had kash go out and say he doesnt deserve to be here blah blah this isnt WCW is ECW blah blah he cant take things to the extreme like us blah blah. Hall comes out, raises hell, they get a match at the ppv, Hall wins just to get him over a little more. Now its time for him to feud with Rhino for the title and following that feud, Mr. Perfect (if he was brought in).

The Reason ECW was going downhill at the time was that TNN fucked ECW over in an Attempt to get the WWF. Therefore the only problem in ECW at that time was the Money issue. But if they had a TV deal then ECW would have been fine and a viable number two promotion In the US. And It is relatively confirmed that Mr. Perfect was going to be going to ECW. So saying that they didn't have the chance of going anywhere is sort of ignorant. ECW drew the same rating that TNA does now. Without Advertising outside of during the middle of their own broadcast. So it was a viable product until it was dropped.

well at this point ECW needed somebody big to be the guy, and they could make that guy hall. i would have put him in a short feud with Dreamer where hall would join the network, then give him the belt and let him feud with Mr. perfect and eventually drop the strap to RVD

Hall would of been huge in ECW if TNN didn't fuck ECW over!

I personally would start Hall off as a face. If I was Heyman I would of told him to run wCw into the ground in EVERY promo (hey we all know how much Heyman hated Bischoff and wCw). My most likely option would of had the Network go after Hall and try to stop him from "bashing" wCw. Have Dreamer and Sandman work with Hall to feud with them for awhile. Somewhere at the 3 or 4 month area of the feud have Hall turn on Dreamer and Sandman (the crowd would of loved him way to much in the begining to push him as a hell imo). After his turn I wouldn't have him join a faction though. I'd let him run as the "Lone Wolf" in a nice heel role he can do so well. I'd wait til he had been reliable for a solid 6 months and then throw the belt on him for at least another solid 6 months (eventually beaten by Rob Van Dam)

But yeah, Mr Perfect was also on his way to ECW at the time of it's demise. They were attracting the star power like nobodies business, it was TNN fucking them over and struggling to get a new time slot that killed ECW. Not saying ECW would be alive and well today, but it could of been and I WISH it were.

Man I didnt know Hall was part of ECW and he is one of my fav wrestlers of all time. Heck if I had run ECW and Hall was there I would start him off as a mid card and face him against Credible or Mahoney. Then make him as a tag team w/ New Jack. They would have been sav. After awhile in tag team division i would but him in a fued w/ sabu that would adventually make hime #1 contender. He would become champ after a couple loses like WWE pulled off w/ book and benoit.

But bringing Hall to ECW would have probably kept them alive and wouldnt have had to be "reborn" as a crappy show w/ the WWE. Shit ECW blows know. Their matches arent the same. ECW stands for EXtreme Championship Wrestling and most of the matches are normal rules. Heck if ECW didnt go down the crapper, Hall would have brought a new name to extreme!
