Sarah Palin "Battle Hymn"

I enjoy the occasional drink, but consuming too much leads to trouble, that's for sure. But when I do drink I enjoy myself, it's a good opportunity to socialize with people I otherwise wouldn't socialize with, and it makes me forget about the time my priest touched me.

You will never convince me that cocaine should be legalized. How about crack while we are at it. I have drank alcohol probably over a hundred times in my life, but I don't have the overwhelming desire to go and have a drink.
Oh, look. An non-addict doesn't understand the nature of addiction. How enlightening.

Would be curious to know the number of people who have done coke 100 times in their life.

Oh wait there probably aren't any because they have overdosed long before.

You have to work to become an alcoholic and there are usually many reasons for it, including depression and stress. Most people don't try coke because of depression or stress they do it because of peer pressure or just because it looks like it might be fun.
Yeah, I don't know anyone who was ever driven to drink to excess and continued doing so because of peer pressure until developing alcoholism. Abusrd notion. Completely different animals.

Here's an idea: How about you don't make glib statements about things you know nothing about?

It's currently -2 degrees here in Cincinnati. Sarah Palin is from Alaska. I'm obviously going to blame her for the current conditions here.

There is no reason a private citizen needs to own an M16 assault rifle.

Agreed.

You will never convince me that cocaine should be legalized.

O agree here too.

How about crack while we are at it.

Crack is exactly the same as Cocaine. The only difference is that Cocaine is a salt and Crack isn't. You can't legalise one without the other.

I have drank alcohol probably over a hundred times in my life, but I don't have the overwhelming desire to go and have a drink.

Good for you. That does mean you know jack shit about addiction though.

Would be curious to know the number of people who have done coke 100 times in their life.

Very high I would imagine.

Oh wait there probably aren't any because they have overdosed long before.

:lmao: Oh wait, you're serious.

You have to work to become an alcoholic and there are usually many reasons for it, including depression and stress.[/quote]

Same thing applies to Heroin, Cocaine, Ciggarette and pain killer addiction.

Most people don't try coke because of depression or stress they do it because of peer pressure or just because it looks like it might be fun.

Isn't that the same reason a lot of people started drinking in excess too?
