I agree it's likely she would ruin the GOP's chances of taking back the White House in 2012 if she were to receive the nomination.

However, just having her name on the ballot scares the living shit out of me. Just knowing there is a chance she could win, even the slightest chance, would be enough for me to pack up and move to Canada. That's how terrible I believe she would be for this country.

I'm from Australia and know next to nothing regarding politics and even I am scared as hell about the prospect Palin could one day become President of the most powerful country in the world.

I'm not necessarily worried about the safety of other countries, I don't think she's going to nuke anyone. I'm more scared about the plans she doesn't have. I think she's far more concerned with winning an election than she is with actually running a country.

Nick, if she got the nuclear codes I would be afraid that she'd nuke someone, namely Iran or North Korea. Her whole "you don't mess with the mama bear" mentality would not be ideal when dealing with belligerent countries like those two.
