I keep hearing this yet it's the biggest load of crap. There are a lot of guys the WWE didn't make yet they became huge in the WWE. You don't really need a list do you?
The "Blueprint";3372702 said:What happened to R-Truth? This year his character has improved tremendously and he has been given main event spots and loads of air time on Raw and Smackdown. Joe would be lucky to even be in Truth's position before the heel turn. In TNA he's getting buried, former world champion losing to older guys like Devon.
There is a fallacy in your argument. That being that even though it's still the WWE and still basically the same company, it's not THE same company. They hire different marketers and writers all the time and it's pretty clear there is a change in direction in the product on screen.I would love to see this list. Try making it with people that were pushed when the company they came from was still around.
Every time WWE goes on a hot run and pushes a guy the IWC loves, they tend to suddenly think WWE will book anyone of their favorites into a star. You people have way too high of expectations of what WWE would do with Joe. Him being friends with CM Punk and John Cena won't change a thing in the grand scheme of things. Being friends with stop stars hasn't helped anyone since 1996.
Samoa Joe has re-signed with TNA 2 or 3 times in the past 5 years, each time WWE didn't show much interest in bringing him in. Despite the fact that Mick Foley (back when he was in WWE) vouched for Samoa Joe and so did Jim Ross. John Cena has been there. Cm Punk has been there. Joe still hasn't gotten hired.
So, assuming Joe even wants to go to WWE and work twice the amount of days per year, if WWE barely cares to sign him, what makes you believe they will push him?
