No. According to reports, Jeff Hardy did sign a contract with TNA so it wasn't just a one time thing. Maybe they are just waiting for him to straighten out all of his legal problems until they use him again.
I'm still holding out for an RVD appearance.

Good point. If Punk wins, I'll see it as a huge suprise tonight, as there's been on build for him other then him forming his " Straight Edge Society "
I agree with you and I see this as a distinct possibility. Last I heard, Jeff Hardy (and for that matter Shannon Moore) had not signed a TNA contract, it was speculated that they would, but they actually had not.
Hardy's iMPACT appearance could have been a one time deal. Gave TNA some impact for that particular head to head show. Allowed Hardy to pressure WWE into a new and more lucrative contract. And allows WWE to pull an amazing swerve and push Hardy back into the main event of the grand daddy of them all.
Plus, TNA may not have realized at the time it was just a one night shot only with Hardy. They may have been planning a longer term contract, which may have fallen through when Vince came calling with a shit load of cash.
While I realize this probably won't happen, it's certainly not out of the question.

also, I'm not sure whether or not I should find a good lamp, watch the rumble and join in the LD, or go to bed and watch a video of somebody else's lamp later. I live in england (so it'd finish at ~4 am and I have a 9 am lecture. I figure I'll read the LD for a while and then go to bed.
