Royal Rumble 2015 LD

Jesus CHRIST that match sucked after Bryan got eliminated. Fully support the live crowd for shitting all over the product, they literally would have been more satisfied with Mizdow in the main event of Wrestlemania than Roman Reigns.

Rollins where you at.

Yeah, but due to the location I'd bet we'll see more people from the Midwest than the Northeast. Most smarks seem centered in the Northeast, so I'd predict a less smarky crowd overall.

Minneapolis crowds would like to have a word with you.

Corporate Kane has made me despise one of my favourite wrestling characters. It's by far the worst thing that has ever happened to the character (and yes, that includes Katie Vick and Fake Kane).

Well, Brock is on Raw tonight. I fully expect Rollins to cash in on him in the near future and it to be a Rollins vs Reigns match at WrestleMania. At least, that's what I'm holding onto hope with.

At this point I am hoping Rollins cashes in immediately after Reigns vs. Lesnar. Have Lesnar destroy Reigns, have Reigns win even though he can barely stand and have Rollins take away his big moment with Reigns winning the title at Summerslam.

It's not the happy ending Wrestlemania is known for but if done right it could really help Reigns in the long run.

At this rate, Seth Rollins would be cheered for cashing-in, and that is something WWE wouldn't want for their top babyface.

That really depends on how the Lesnar/Reigns match goes. If Reigns can get sympathy and the crowd behind him by the end of that match it will not only build Reigns to a level he needs to be at it will give mega heat for Rollins for stealing the Wrestlemania moment away from Reigns.

I think it really comes down to his Lesnar match that will make/break this match. The best example I can think of over the last few years is the 1st Cena/Lesnar match. The crowd was very pro Lesnar starting off but by the end of the match the crowd got behind Cena pretty good. If Lesnar puts Reigns through the meat grinder like he did with Cena that night then there is a good chance it will help get the crowd behind Reigns.

I could certainly see it going the way you wrote but it really comes down to how Lesnar vs. Reigns plays out that will ultimately determine if it would work or not.

On that I agree.
As I mentioned in another thread: Reigns vs Lesnar needs to be a pure hard-hitting slug fest, boxing/MMA style if possible, with Reigns trying to look like a man possessed against Brock. As you said, like Cena vs Brock 1.

However, whilst I'll wait and see how other cities receive Reigns. Him getting back sympathy before Mania, will depend on booking and on how other crowds receive him.

Rumours of him feuding with Big Slow again aren't helping things, lMO.

Indeed. That's the only reason I'm bothering to watch it.

I have a feeling they won't. Michael Cole called it a "controversial" Royal Rumble. I don't know. It would be so cool to see the real life story being played in here.

Something along the lines of Reigns saying that he feels the fans don't think he's ready to main event WrestleMania against Lesnar. Give it a little kayfabe and make Reigns want to proof it wasn't a fluke, when in reality he's telling people to give him a chance. Then, come Daniel Bryan and it would be cool to see him and Reigns have a stellar main event at WWE Fast Lane, where Daniel Bryan would endorse Roman Reigns (and actually think and delivering an insanely good match). The content of the story is crucial for people to accept Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar.

I wasn't able to watch last night so I've just finished it. I'm not going to bother dissecting that show because it's not worth my effort. That was the worst Rumble I've ever seen, the WWE will never learn.

Cole was actually on? I didn't see that part, tho I read something about some stuff from the HQ with Rollins also there.

Not a bad idea at all. It would conflict the naysayers, no doubt. But, I doubt the WWE does that, unfortunately. They'll still do Big Slow vs Reigns anyway, regardless, lMO.

Brock is in the building as well... wonder if him and Roman will cross paths or it'll just be him and Rollins(who is still sitting in his seat..)

Honestly when WWE cuts the crap and actually tries to make them look professional the talky bits are genuinely fantastic. The problem is they all take place in the ring most of the time where everyone hams it up like a motherfucker. Eventually it gets hard to take seriously.

It's amazing how much better Reigns vs. Lesnar sounds when you take out the Rumble. Yeah last night's match sucked, but the idea of those two fighting at Wrestlemania really doesn't sound all that bad when you think about it alone. The interview tonight didn't sound bad and felt like building to another big Lesnar match. In other words, it's not as bad as people made it out to be. Imagine that.

Great smarky pop for Z Ry

Also what was the point of making Wyatt look so strong, eliminate Bryan and then just easily get dumped out by the 2 dullards.
